I've read multiple people recommending your channel and this video specifically but I cannot watch it because you insist on saying everyone's names wrong. I don't know if it's some kind of joke you think is funny, or if you genuinely think that's how their names are pronounced, but it's infuriating and wholly unnecessary. I'll never know if your strats are worth anything because I'll never see you explain them, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. If they are, and it's my loss, and you want to grow as a creator, it might be worth learning how to say their names properly. I guarantee more people will be receptive to your content if they're not furious every time you open your mouth. Syun-hee. Sigh-ko. They say them HUNDREDS of times during the game, which you've obviously played several times, so there's really just no excuse at all for getting them wrong.

He was definitely easier than matador- that fight took me 30 minutes. I beat this on hard level 26- god I’m so glad they took away level scaling. I also use gremlin, and Flaemis and have support Nahobino build, so inflaming divinity destroyed this fight.

When I first ran into this fight, I got my ass handed to me. After finding out ol' Scooby Doo over there was weak to Force, I changed up my team specifically for that bastard, then it was all over.

from what I've seen so far in my own playthrough I disagree with all of your choices. all the spellcasters all seem pretty strong/good. & I've seen 2 characters possibly worse than these ones. Faye & Galdorf. Faye I made grow to LV 31 & yet she doesn't seem to be gaining any stats & still has the lowest stats of all my characters. while Galdorf I've had in the front line with Yume multiple times & they wear similar armor sets but she would take barely any damage while he was still getting hurt by around 50 or more & when you're a front liner with low HP that tends to knock him out quickly.

Pure strength is 100% the way to go as a damage dealer for lategame, but I think it's still better earlygame and midgame too. Sakanagi's description says "medium" almighty damage, but it has 230 power. For reference the standard engame single target elemental magic spells have 265 power. The medium magic elemental spells have 160 power (Hamaon and Mudoon have 175). Weakness damage multiplies that to 240 and 262.5, but that's balanced out by another factor: the same reason your jack frost is doing more damage than you. Jack Frost has +4 ice affinity, which is fairly high even for lategame. For a magic build, you have to spend so much glory (a very hot commodity) on multiple mastery miracles. Almighty mastery is much more expensive than other mastery miracles, but it's the only one you need to focus on for a strength build. Meanwhile, for magic builds, you need to be keeping up with multiple lines of mastery materials, which really eats away at the glory you want to be spending on divine and demon proficiency and other important miracles. As for the idea of a luck based status-demon, I really don't think that's a smart idea. Most bosses resist all status ailments, so really the only way to inflict status is with the Accursed Poison magatsuhi skill from your Avian and Raptor demons, which is why you should always have one in your party.

As someone who never actually got around to finishing the original game, would canon of creation be worth it to play first or should I just jump right to canon of vengeance?

It’s definitely easy once you team build but going into it blind I didn’t even start my turn before dying. I would imagine it’s the same for anyone with a party member weak to ice.

Nah i disagree cause he revives his pet like everytime his pet dies and if you aren't doing excessive grinding its pretty hard even with alice fused. Him, namaah cause aoe charm, and then Lilith fight have given me struggles and i know part of it is my negligence on filling out the compendium to blame but finding ways to beat them was euphoric outside of Namaah where i relied on seal proc lasting long enough to beat her both times even though looking back i could have fused Vouivre which would make charm less scary. Also struggled against the Qadistu here cause she could oneshot some of my demons and those demons were vital to my strategies. I think i would still be stuck on Yuzuru if not for Die for me. Alice hard carried me in some of the fights. Also the level curve jump in the 4th area is insane in fact so insane i had to get like 20 levels to fight the first boss of the area. I would say the easiest boss in the game takes place inside the diet building when you go there for recon after all the crazy stuff has happened before going to the fourth area. Canon of vengeance route has felt really magic favored but now it feels like me using a physical bino so far has payed off. That said i am not committed to a build yet cause i want to see all the new moves the game has added and i hear thalassic calamity got buffed which i never played og 5 so i don't know what magic was like before vengeance but magic has been buffed pretty heavily from what i have heard and seen. With all that said Fionn Mac Cumhail is my favorite fights in the game so far. Just hearing that OST and fighting him has always been exhilarating for me

What demons do I fuse to get Vouivre?

I went full vitality for protagonist, over 100 at lvl 50. If you're trying to min max, Early Game: Magic is stronger Late Game: Strength is stronger Base your demons off of what you need for the bosses

he managed to kill one of my demons but thats becuase i was saving up my magastsuhi expecting to fight the qadistu next, the creation route boss of this chapter is soo much harder lol. but vengeance makes up for it by having a much harder taito/empyrean. the penultimate boss was insanely hard imo

Biggest tip for all the fights but this guide is still is great, use the fusion calculator to fuse specialized buffer, debuffer and ATK demons to optimize actions per turn

Actually... if all you want is damage and have DPS machine STR is the way to go, all points into it if you want magic because VARIETY then u do Magic. Thats it.

Ever since I set foot in this region after the Lahmu fight... You know you're working up to him as the next big boss. As a result been making sure my nahobino and demons have dark resist/immunity. That made this fight even easier

For me the priority is everything that increases the Demon Stock, the Gauge filling up and everything that gives you some healing/mp to reduce down time. Then in between grab the ones that allow your demons/nahobino to have more skill slots. In the middle game try to grab stuff to reduce cost of healing, cost of making new demons, getting more items/macca from machines

the reason the ice breath is only doing 2 is because to single targets it only does the minimum amount of hits

I never understood why they gave the fiends weaknesses in this game. It got rid of a lot of there challenge. Yeah, I thought about it more, and the games are completely different in the way they play

Idk how the demon garrison isn’t a priority for you lol the game severely limits how much you can keep in stock, which in turn limits how much you can fuse. I get those as soon they become available because I’m constantly leveling up and fusing new demons to inherit better skills

I wouldn't call these "Early".

In my opinion money becomes a non-factor very soon. I'd prioritize getting those miracles giving you and your demons more slots for inheriting skills and more room for demons, because between the special fusions and recruiting you just can't have enough open slots.

So, I figured this out, the blue magatama's or "metal slimes" give glory, the gold ones give money, the red ones give side characters leveling mats, the black ones give your main character levels. I was able to get level 19 at the same zone he's at in this video.

The "ink" fight was intense I was so close to dead, passive abilities would be really cool

I too was overleveled because of forgetting side quests that aren't time sensitive. In hindsight I was glad for doing it with these menorah battles. You really need ways to reduce evasion in this fight and get your own agility up. Was mainly strength with some HP up to lvl 30. Then invested agility purely up to lvl 40 to balance the character. then you can deal with these fights without missing.
