glad board climbing is getting its due. for sure, fnigerboarding and composing has its uses, such as breaking through a plateau. but nothing builds power, finger strength and just climbing technique like a good steep board. turns out malcolm smith, ben moon, jerry moffat, ned feehally, megos, ondra, mr. bosi and so on know their stuff. shocker! :)
Great video! I love how you explained how board sessions put the best of climbing training together. I'm still interested in building a small campusboard setup at home to supplement my training, in addition to my Metolius Simulator hangboard. Salute from HOLLAND.
I have a question... my rock gym has bouldering levels set as V0-V12. When you say 8a (for example) would that be considered V8 or do gyms label their routes different?
I’m just gonna warm up on an 8a. 🥶
“mileage” on 8a+ 😩
Will is on another level!
guy just casually rips through some of the hardest 80's board problems then proceeds to redpoint some 8c+'es in the afternoon. what a beast.
05:20 - WTF! That's some insane strength right there. Fingers, arms, upper body, core, dude got it all dialed. Absolute mad lad
Does that and then cheekily says "pretty warm" lol
so fckn strong
Great seeing Will and Aiden put it down for the brits with Alphane recently

Yes, these climbers have great intuition and know what works!
What's really crazy is that this was two years ago and Will seems to have gotten WAY better and stronger since…
2:35 Did he say Ben & Jerry? 'Cause in that case my future is bright
"Better than the hangar!" How lovely!
Always enjoy watching Will and his shenanigans.
Time to make a BOD replica on the school room!!
This dude is strong AF !! Geeeez i did only one 8a and it was a journey and this dude eat 8a's in his breakfeast.
Malcolm Smith is an absolute Legend.
this man is mind blowing

absolutely awesome video!
Inspiring to watch you train - thank you!
Fantastic video 👍
Would love to know what training programs you used when you were climbing several grades lower (more my level!) Great video!
maybe you can try doing the same (but of course lower grades, he warm ups on 8a, well you can do the 6b on the moonboard)
The program doesnt have to change
Whats his height/weight? he looks very similar to my build but 90000 times stronger
Hey, so I’m 5”9 and around 63kg I don’t weight myself often though
@@WilliamBosi 63kg? light af. 5"8 and 69kg here. Chonky legs :(
@@MythAvatar same,
@@MythAvatar 6'2 and 79kg here 😭
@@Strummify just reach the hold! Jk
Malcom Smith seems like he was such a beast
One of the strongest!
I've seen him doing 'easy' climbing on vacation. Dude seems like a machine. Grabs sth and it doesn't really matter what it is, he moves on.
I wish I'll be able to project his wam up for months and just be able to climb it once. 8A seems absolutely impossible.
Will Bosi is gorgeous! Phwoooaaaarrrr!
It's time to make history and add your own problem on the board !
Automatic subtitles gave me "Jerry Muffa" gem here :)
cool video, it sure is helpful
I, too would love to have titanium fingers 🤖
Don’t get me wrong- I’m a treat. But Will Bosi seems like a nicer guy than me.
BRUTAL!!!!
"Better than the Hanger" 😅 don't deny that you framed that shot on purpose

Good question, 8A in font grades is equivalent to V11
So strong
Bosi needs to try a 9c I want to see how well he would do I think it would go well
Well, that one aged very well :)
@@derrollmops 2 9cs now
@@sloperparks what a beast
Is that an all wood moonboard?
Yep
The original!
@@LatticeTraining I'm talking about the one he climbs on after the 50' board
maybe its just the 2019 with no resin holds
Statement of youth
You need to alter the thumbnail of this, now that Will is a 9C climber... ;)
here after the burden send
Savage is good.
OMG how is this human?
Physical laws dont apply to his stregth
yeah, definetely lacking in dynamic power...
