Jesus christ. I don't think I've watched a video before that has highlighted so starkly the absolutely next level strength and power endurance of a V17 boulderer quite like this one. That includes sends of their V16 and V17 projects. To be campusing like that at the end after climbing ao many hard problems is just insane This Bosi lad is pretty strong tbf.
This video definitely highlights just how strong elite climbers are. I wish I could "warm up" with that campus workout. I would be absolutely fried on those small ledges.
That move off the yellow volume during the campus bouldering part was insanely graceful and just generally nuts. Somehow that one bit really showed how next level Will is really well
His knowledge and use of his body is insane. Especially seeing through the pogos on the earlier climbs and then how he uses his body in the campus boulders, leaning his body one way or the other to help pull him through. Really interesting
Great video you guys, awesome to get an idea of Will’s training session and loved Josh trying to keep up and getting absolutely wrecked for science. Keep up the good work, thank you 🙏
tbf, he does those as the starting ones for his board session after his crazy campus warmup, so they aren't warmup problems as in come in cold and warm up on them. Still absolutely insane though
Haha I'm imagining projecting my silly 6c in this gym and then a wild Shauna Coxsey or Will Bosi appears, training to climb things I can't even comprehend
Makes me remember Steve House who tells you to train just so you can take the amount of actual training that's about to come. Training for the new alpinism.. great read

lmao I can barely hold onto a v4 route and i am losing my mind to try the burden of dreams. i cant keep living longer like this, i need the burden of dreams replica
I know setters that set boulders only by doing individual moves, or even sometimes just something that feels possible for someone stronger. It's nice for the top level in the gym.
I think they might also get away with adding either intermediate holds (or footholds), or just swapping some of the holds for better ones to make sure it goes
I've only been bouldering for a few months, have been trying to add some muscle mass on my lean frame by dirty bulking, as a first step to getting stronger. But I basically look pretty much the same as Will Bosi, so I guess I could've saved myself the trouble (and food bills!). I find it crazy how climbers develop such strength from very modest amounts of muscle. I know size doesn't exactly equal strength, and that this is a relative strength sport, so low bodyweight is vital, and I know about concepts like GtG for teaching the body to recruit its resources more efficiently etc etc... but I still can't quite compute just how much strength potential some of these climbers have unlocked from totally normal looking bodies. Are you one of those people who looks like they've never been to a gym but can somehow do a one-arm pull-up?!
pro climbers always look normal until they go shirtless at which point I am always asking myself how you dont see their back muscles through the shirt but generally I would agree with you
that is because strength doesn’t equal muscle size, strength comes from neuromuscular gains, tendons already have strength you just train your mind to utilize it
8c in a gym is craaaazy
Totally! It's wild that there were multiple routes that a V17 climber didn't flash.

100 campus moves to warm-up sounds like something a super hero would say
@@ayuminor 😂
The drop knee at 17:57 is so cool
He warms up longer than my entire sessions
Can you do a video on what Bill Wosi's session looks like too? It would be so cool to see the contrasts in styles.
took me a while to realize 😂
Bill Wosi warms up for three hours and then slab climbs for 30 minutes.
They're completely opposite
@@matthewsevers5862 Warms up on the entire rest of the gym, im guessing?
Big up on the setters at this gym. Consistently hard but doable.. and fun flowy movement.. impressed by the setting! I wish I could climb here!
If I was the setter of that black one I would be very psyched. The yellow cave route also looked banging
This video definitely highlights just how strong elite climbers are. I wish I could "warm up" with that campus workout. I would be absolutely fried on those small ledges.
Or warm up with 8As.. wtf
Seeing Will campus through these burly and technically demanding moves has got to be one of the most impressive climbing footage I've ever soon. Wow!
ive never said so many "holy shit"and "wtf" to a youtube video before.. will is so strong it's hard to comprehend
That move off the yellow volume during the campus bouldering part was insanely graceful and just generally nuts. Somehow that one bit really showed how next level Will is really well
I find it so cool how he uses his hips even when he's campussing like at 23:35 he fully turns his hip in for the right hand move
His knowledge and use of his body is insane. Especially seeing through the pogos on the earlier climbs and then how he uses his body in the campus boulders, leaning his body one way or the other to help pull him through. Really interesting
Nothing helps technique like having insane fingers 😮
what an absolute madman
Woah that black route at 13:30 is more then a W1! (W0: Will Bosi flash | W1: Will Bosi does it in 1 session | W 2: two sessions usw.)
wow seriously this is 100% my favorite climbing video. Watched it more times than Shawn sending off the wagon sit.
will has crazy cold power. just imagine when he’s full warm. crazy
Great video you guys, awesome to get an idea of Will’s training session and loved Josh trying to keep up and getting absolutely wrecked for science. Keep up the good work, thank you 🙏
For science🤘
the way will uses pogo at 10:50, 2 times to help generate momentum for the deadpoint, is absolutely cool, and so efficient!
17:57 For a second I thought someone had brought a dog's squeaky toy to the wall
I can never do one armers, so I guess my sessions are golden!
Climbing Hangar setting is next level for sure
Loved the power endurance bouldering protocol. Very simple yet effective.
the way he makes such crazy hard problems look easy hurts my soul.
Can confirm I would die.
V11 boulders as a warmup seems insane to me. Crazy to think about the differeance in skill bewteen will and avarage joe
Lmao in my gym you can find just a couple of V11s, like the entire place would be too easy and boring for him
tbf, he does those as the starting ones for his board session after his crazy campus warmup, so they aren't warmup problems as in come in cold and warm up on them. Still absolutely insane though

Now that we had Adam Ondra in the basement it's time for Will I reckon.
Will's been in the cellar! ruclips.net/video/5SfTjWiFYFA/видео.html
16:05: Such a typical climbing moment LOL
I would survive easily since I couldn't even pull onto a single one of those moves. If you can't even attempt it, it can't kill you.
More of this please!🔥
Since I'm barely scraping through my own sessions... no.
Need Will's energy!
Good effort!
Damn this gym sets well
Makes me remember Steve House who tells you to train just so you can take the amount of actual training that's about to come. Training for the new alpinism.. great read
the blocs in this gym! I said goddamn
The purpose of a warmup is to get your body ready to perform at maximum.
Anything beyond that is a low intensity conditioning exercise.

That is so awesome!!! I'm gonna ask my gym to get the burden of dreams replica because im dying to try it
campusing in footholds is diabolical
I would assume the Hand Jam + Foot Jam is the intented beta maybe? Maybe the Wideboys have been visiting ;D
lmao I can barely hold onto a v4 route and i am losing my mind to try the burden of dreams. i cant keep living longer like this, i need the burden of dreams replica
this is insane. hard to believe the setters have actually topped some of those blacks

@@Alphare33 ah ok. makes sense
casually wearing the Unparallel Cubic unreleased shoes
Anyone has any idea how often he does this a week? Does he do other stuff? Or just sessions like this every few days? Hope lattice can answer!
Beginning of the vid he says 3x a week
@@MB-co6qj Oh fair enough. I'm deaf apparently. Still wonder what other stuff he does. Can't be just this 3 times a week.

Free your mind bro @@sebastian-ez1dj
@@sebastian-ez1dj Tendons need to be strengthened as well - slowly over time - or you'll injure yourself real good.
Yeah, bulking up is not what you want to do if you want to be good at climbing. You want ninja strength, not football strength.
I wouldn't even survive his warmup 😂
Right! ahaha
at 12 minutes what does he say? single arm [max hangs?]?
Yea single arm max hangs on a fingerboard
Is he doing 4-5h sessions or 4-5h in total of those three sessions of the week?
One session is ~4hours
I'll be already dead on campus
Makes it sound like he’s doing a lot but it’s only a 26:49 min training session, easy 🤦🏻♂️😂
Nahh.., pizza is the key! 🍕🤓
probably not, would have to go to the uk first :(
Couldn’t survive that
Wills got some proper chicken legs. Lol😂
short answer: no.
8a warm up boulder? xD
"8a warm up boulders :D" :___________(
Who the heck is setting 8c boulders in a commercial gym?
An evil genius? Maybe just evil.
I swear if I see “that black problem looks like is V2 in my gym” in the comment section imma hit someone
How does boulder campusing whrn you are tired make sense? Extra skin wasting as well?
what's the point of setting so hard? Not even the best in the world can climb them let alone us weaklings
That is concierge setting 😉
These boulders look hard as shit.
