I've seen a lot of tribute bands. These guys actually have the energy, and the correct bass to give it the feel. I would love for these guys to release some original music.
It's funny because I watched this a couple of years ago and they along with ryan adams got me into the dead. Now listening to them play those songs back now. Just beautiful

If it don't flouresce, it don't pass the test! ) Some has come out of the Check Republic. Naturally some came out of Amsterdam. And we shouldn't be surprized that some has come out of Switzerland. Where Sandoz Labratories first synthesized LSD back in 1937. The chemists here have a genuine sense of pride that I haven't seen on the other side of the pond in the USA since 1981 at a Dead show in Maryland. Where I got really lucky and was blessed with several free White Barrels. We did end up with some liquid around the year 2000 but that was just a one time thing. I had done some of Owsely's best product back in the early 70's including Red Berkley, Blue Cheer, Mr. Natural, Purple Haze, Orange Sunshine, Blue-Gtreen Blotter. Etc. Recently we saw on some silkroad this guy was selling high quality LSD. Ranging in doses from 200-500 mcg. We got lucky. The Eye of the Buddha was at least 200mcg, but felt like 250. Really pure and quite strong. So your best bet. Find some silkroad. (Be careful.) It is still running at like two bucks a dose. Thats been the common price since 1974. As always Caveat Emptor. I can't help you any more than that. Just be very, very careful. Some unscrupulous motherfuckers are putting 2CB out there on blotter claiming it is LSD. It is not. It is dangerous as it is a monoamine B inhibitor, and doesn't produce the bliss, like real LSD, just visuals. Stay away from it. Mixing by accident or intentionally two Monoamine B inhibitors can cause siezurs and death. Not cool. Arguably even worse are guys using DOM* and mixing it with 2CB and passing it off as LSD. Although you should notice the difference as your still tripping balls eighteen hours later. Not fun. There is very high quality LSD out there. Check the state of Jefferson in the USA. Or some Silkroad. Just don't do anything illegal, O.K. brother? : ) * DOM is the legendary STP. If you haven't done so already buy a copy of the modern hippie bible ''Pihkal- A Chemical Liove Story'', by Ann Shulgin and her Chemist boyfriend, they later got married. Alexander Shulgin. They are very kind in that Alex describes in minute detail how he made so many different psychedelics. Just not LSD. Here is a short piece of his work. A mixture of 20.0 g POCI, and 22.5 g N-methylformanilide was allowed to stand at room temperature for 0.5 hrs which produced a deep claret color. 900 pages like that and they then describe ingesting his products and having sex all over their house. (Gotta go the kids are yelling for daddy.) To all my family out there from over the years. Especially David and Vievie. Thank you. God bless you all. Peace. Not fade away.

I hitchhiked across the country for 14 years following the Dead, been too many rainbow gatherings and heard lots of cover bands. These guys are by far my favorite! Keep up the groovin tunes fellas!! And remember there's nothing left to do but smile smile smile!!

Excellent! Many GD cover bands are too clinical for my liking, but these guys really capture that organic messiness and interplay that characterised the Dead.
