I ordered this show so I could stream it live. We were dead smack in the middle of covid and there was no live music to be seen (a little Goose but thats it). My wife and I were driving back from the Gulf coast to mid-atlantic. I streamed this video live over my cell phone to my car audio. The sun was out, weather felt great, we were dancing, swaying, singing along, windows down everything was perfect for those few hours. Every single one of these musicians made such a indelible impression on me that day. I already knew and loved all of them, but this show (and the other two Hawaii shows at the time) really took my breath away. Then there is James Casey, just wow, what a phenomenal sax player. To me, these 3 shows were his true swan song before his passing one month ago to the day. Thank you all (Bill, James, Reed, Aaron, Tom, Billy) for lifting my spirit during such uncertain times. We will forever miss you James....

I happened on this one by accident, and it blew me away. I previously saw a RUclips clip where Billy played with some GD band members (Lay Me Down, Ripple), and I loved it. This is fabulous. "Limbo" is one of my faves. Keep it up Billy!
All it needs is Sierra Hull, who recently performed with Billy & the Kids, and has great performing chemistry with Billy Strings, for some harmony vocals, and you'd have the whole package. And let her play one of the solos, while you're at it . . . But hey, this ain't bad!
Wow. Incredible not sure how i missed this song originally. Add Sierra and we have perfection would blow roof off a venue. Need see Billy and Sierra play together as Kids.
I got to see Jimmy Cliff in 1999, at the now defunct 3 day music festival in Seattle, called Bumbershoot. I miss Bumbershoot, my husband and I took our kids every year, it was a fantastic show, Bumbershoot brought in 100’s of famous and local bands every Labor Day weekend, until this money grubbing ahole took over in 2007, raised the prices and it folded, after being successful since the 60’s-70’s. We saw everyone there, Linda Rondstadt, Emmylou Harris, Stevie Winwood, Donavon, Blind Boys of Alabama, Bonnie Raitt, Ratdog (Bob Weirs band), Bon Jovi, Lou Reed, Weird Al, Dan Hicks and the Hot Licks, John Hammond Jr. Blues Band, just a few of musicians we saw.

Jimmy Cliff cover
Good old grateful dead
Would love to see this with the actual remaining Dead members...
Bill Kreutzmann is not one
@@hotrod26ful He was a founding member, and played every one of their concerts, according to what I read.
Hello Bobby love you so much hopefully you are having a great time and have ing fun
Great cover, but it is not a Dead song, they covered it as well, written by Jimmy Cliff
It'd not a Dead song... it's a Jerry Garcia song!
meaning Jerry covered it, not the Dead.
@@billydutton7184 Yep
Literally, EVERYONE know this. Good for you though.
@@Marshall_Stacks If everyone knows it it shouldn't say it was a Jerry cover duh
Hi Paul!
Eat new sensation
I propose Billy on the Bass
im sure this has been said but its Jimmy Cliff not Jerry even though he did it well
James Casey ❤️🩹
this is a jimmie cliff song
Who cares RIP James Casey
dead covered Jimmy cliff not a dead tune ..jerry garcia band played it alot but again not a dead or garcia written song give me a break wth that
Man, compared to this, dead and whatever is a bad joke. Spoken as a Jerry man.
Billy and the kids best shows I have seen in 20 years , the red rocks ones
