Here is a wonderful intimate acoustic jam session that was part of Billy K's 75th Birthday "Grateful Mahalo" streaming concert run in May 2021. The session was introduced with the following summary during the webcast:
"Following the set and a birthday toast to Bill Kreutzmann, the band found themselves jamming in the living room, just for fun. They were joined by one more William - Bill Nershi. We present this to you, raw and real, as a thank you for joining us this weekend for the first Grateful Mahalo."

This is amazing, these shows really made me realize how special of a talent Billy Strings is. This whole run he was making the other guys shake their heads in admiration at his playing. Not many young guys can do that. Also cracks me up that Magner is in there playing a little casio or something. Hey, does anyone know where I can get the audio tracks of these Mahalo shows? All 3 shows were up on RUclips for about a year now I can't find them anywhere.

See even in a acoustic jam from Billy and the kids has a better tempo than Dead and Company.
I find the DeadCo tempo complaints pretty tiresome at this point to be honest. They have been putting on fantastic shows this tour, I will be seeing them in Dallas tomorrow and both SPAC shows next month as well. Can't wait!

Me and my girl Jenn will be in Atlanta on Sunday and we will be at the Cincinnasti show in a couple weeks! DeadCo is great! I have only seen Billy and the Kids once (but got to meet Reed Mathis!) . . . anyway Jay Lane of Primus and Bob Weir/WolfBros, sittin in to replace Billy is a good move to make . . . good to see ya my brother, take good care !
