there is something about Bobs lyrics that just hit deep. nobody writes songs like him. his stream of consciousness style of writing is simply beautiful! top songs for me on here are "Tomorrow is a long time", "I want you", and "Senior (tales of Yankee Power). LOVE playing along with the boys and Bob at the same time. Bobs Hard Rain concert from 1976(?) is also really, really good.

One of my fav shows. There are fun miracles and themes in this show Jerry’s voice is slightly hoarse and vulnerable in set 1 making High Time and Peggy O quite beautiful when he sang, “I was havin’ a Hard tiiime”. Then Jerry suprises everyone when he belts out his lines at the end of ‘I know you rider’. Huge energy and mysteriously Jerry voice is amazing for rest of the show lol!! Then there is running theme of lyrics that speak directly to the audience Truckin: what a long strange trip Gimme some lovin’: so glad you made it! I hope someone can answer two questions I have. Is there a good and current discussion forum that is active? When listening to to shows on the internet it sends like their is a microsecond between songs that (fractures?) can’t think of a better description. Sometimes it sounds like it is the band jumping hard into a different song but I’m not sure. And these cuts are only between song changes. Anyone know what that is?
