Good lord. I was just introduced to these guys... I've been in and seen countless fantastic dead tributes but this is probably THE best take on Cumberland Blues I've ever heard from one. Haunting and flawless vocal harmonies and hot damn that bassist has Phil's approach and early '70s tone. The type of rippin' GD that takes you there and sends shivers down your spine.
Been a deadhead for about 45 years, seen mannnnnny a shows etc. 😁😋😜🤪😴😁... you guys got the groove indeed! Watchin your videos, like nice sweet dreams... play on!
Yeah, now they just need an audience that isn't a bunch of idiot hipsters that actually show some respect to the art they're listening too. Dance you fucking losers!!!!
This is who we need for Jerry Day. The tribute bands they have are GREAT don't get me wrong and they're old timers who were connected through music and friendship to the dead but this is indistinguishable from live recordings I've heard while also being unique with their own voice.
One of my all-time favorite ditties by the grateful Dead. Done so amazingly well it almost brought a tear in my eye. Just discovered these guys and I am excited for more.
I really appreciate that they tried to recreate the vibes of an old dead show with the video. Very reminiscent of the Veneta Oregon 72 show on the farm with the aesthetic.
This would be suitable for La Blogoteque. Classic music by awesome young people who remind how how wonderful the world can be in 2017 can be. I get it.
I'd be sweeping all those beautiful women of their feet and showing them how to groove to the funky beat of the good all Grateful Dead!! God bless Jerry Garcia!
Amazing to watch this again, I can't believe it's been 5 years. I was lucky enough to see and record their only Toronto tour stop with the original line up, summer 2018. These folks are by far the best option to get a real 70s Dead show vibe. Better that DSO imo, and light years better than Dead & Slow.
You guys are the best and I'm so glad your getting lots of bookings and shows. You're in high demand and for good reason! Sound quailty and mixing is crystal clear as a bell and second to none...😊🍄🌿😊🍄🌿💜💚💙🌿😊😄
I just discovered you guy's, and I've been a DeadHead for 30 years (damn I'm old)! Anyways just thought I'd let you know that you guys are superb! If I had a better vocab I'd use a better word, but superb means allot coming from a real DeadHead!!! Keep on rockin' out fellas! I live in Portland but I'm with my family at the moment in North Carolina, so if you don't mind, COME TO RALEIGH OR WILMINGTON N.C.!!!!
Just like the Grateful Dead did it, in the early 70s. But it started off as a Bluegrass song when it went to print, and morphed into this cornucopia of a song, wide-open for numerous Improv solos...it was tailor-made. Like Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard on LSD.
Grooving... Jammin’ tight and right..... I would be dancing!!!!! I don’t know what’s up with that crowd... are they extras?... this professionally shot... I know lots of crowds you guys would have to separate from the crowd because of dancers bumping into your asses!!!! I’m blown away.....great job... this is your full time job right?...
1970's dear. Their sound replicates ths times of that decade, right down to the camera filter. They put so much work into their video's and have it down pact.
This camera man is displaying the peace ..love..and chillin’ that this amazing music and band brings. I LOVE the crowd interaction and the happiness... Camera guy should get an Oscar!
A valiant effort, this is one of the hardest Grateful Dead songs to pull off and you guys almost did. The harmonies were on, but not very strange, and I felt the lead guitar lacked that hip bluesy bluegrass energy that Jerry had. Jeff Mattson’s the only guy I’ve heard get it.
This is the best Beer commercial I have ever seen.
Agreed.. I'm really in the mood for some hip and pretentious California beer now.
@@Bluelightcheaphotel yep, Coors is very hip and pretentious!
The best in the world 👍🌅🌈👍
Hahahahaha fantastic
Lol
Nailed the Europe 72 sound. Great vocals
Spot on
Whoever the video peeps are, bravo, was transported back to the 70s.
I'll say this: it takes a lot of talent and togetherness to play this song. Congratulations

Amen to that. For all you young kids out there, this is what Garcia Dead felt like. Keep this shit coming, boys. Yes!

@@opie3833 haha.... When they performed Scarlet Begonias they had a much better audience...
This makes me really really happy.
Kudos to the band for such a clean recording.
Nice take on a classic!
Keep to ourselves in the moment.
For everybody who thinks D&Co is fantastic, THIS is how Jerry Dead felt. Raw.
Don’t be ridiculous dead and co still sound this good
This is what heaven looks like.
Amazing Vibe! Everyone is chillin and grooving! One of the most radically enhanced freak outs that you can throttle your gray matter with!

My happy place.
They should have a law in the USA against these guys being so good 15.5/10.
I'm really rather impressed.
I really appreciate that they tried to recreate the vibes of an old dead show with the video. Very reminiscent of the Veneta Oregon 72 show on the farm with the aesthetic.
The white jumper 👍rocking 🌈🌈🌅🌺🌺🌈🌅
Shred head here. 😊
Iconic video
Great, any chance of getting a China Cat/Rider from you guys anytime soon?

One of the songs that got me hooked decades ago. You need to get out to the East coast more!!
This video has a 70's feel to it!!
omg this was so fun to watch. the vibe was spot on and they can groove nice nice nicely
This would be suitable for La Blogoteque. Classic music by awesome young people who remind how how wonderful the world can be in 2017 can be. I get it.
