    Considering the sky itself is “fake”, there is no reason to believe the floating formation we see in said sky is really Celestia. If celestia is as taboo to speak about as it seems going by how vague the archons tend to be when discussing it, then just pointing up at some floating rocks in the sky and calling it Celestia can be an easy to use misdirect.

    Theory: scaramouche said the sky is fake. So what if the sky we see at the start of the game is actually the real sky, and the clouds are the fake sky that covers the real one up. It may also be that celestia uses the pillars to hold up the sky and can drop a pillar like a missile whenever want to.

      Or as in one theory I have heard, if the sky is fake, the real sky could just as well be below the ground. The whole Teyvat would be upside down, and the "upside down" city we encounter in the Chasm would be in the correct position. And "heading down" the spiral abyss, we would actually be going upwards, to the real sky.

    I personally feel that could be the realm between all the worlds. The twins were trying to escape tevyat and go into another world. I personally think it wouldn't make sense if they go into the heaven realm. So the gate could also mean that the twins are 're-entering' teyvat. It could also be theorized that the gaps between the pillars are pockets between the worlds and the twins dropped down in one specific pocket which would make sense why they were perhaps meteors ? This is probably highly inaccurate and your theory does sound more plausible haha

It’s like every time we open up the game again we tried to leave Teyvat and managed to get back to that place but we keep getting to the same door every single time. I think that there’s more doors on the loading screen that lead to other worlds but we can’t access them yet. If you think about it, it would be a great way to keep the game going and would even explain why the game trailer says “Teyvat Chapter”. Lemme know what you think :)

  • @jokc8
    @jokc8 2 года назад +293

    I never thought it was Celestia because it lacked “building” buildings. My initial thought was it’s like crossways between worlds. In the opening, it seemed like they were about to leave the world they were just in to the next. They might have come close to Teyvat gateway, or was the world they were going to. Before they can leave or enter, they were stopped by the Sustainer to punish them.
    I don’t think world jumping is the transgression. If so, Alice would also be a convict. I think their existence is what goes against their Heavenly Principles. As stated before, all must are to be affected by erosion. But the twins might be unaffected by erosion. Hence, why the Sustainer attacked them. Why they’re not being hunted, I don’t know, but they also don’t have all their powers back and are trapped in Teyvat. Maybe this is a way for Celestia to keep an eye on them. Hold them on their domain.

  • @Mistenxal
    @Mistenxal 2 года назад +129

    To me, the architecture of Celestia looks a bit futuristic(?), and I personally think it might not be from Teyvat. Since there’s lots of theories mentioning that the world of Honkai and Genshin are connected, it may be possible that Celestia may have something to do with Honkai. The world of Honkai looks a bit futuristic (at least the buildings and technology does), so this floating island in the sky known as Celestia may be from the world of Honkai Impact.
    I won’t be that surprised if Celestia has some connections with Honkai, as some other theories I’ve seen mentioned “Project A.R.K.” from Honkai. Try searching it up if you’d like to check it out. Since Project A.R.K. is searching from world to world (just like the twins) for a new place for humanity, it may have found Teyvat during their search. It may have somehow influenced Teyvat when it was found. I’m not sure if Celestia is directly from Project A.R.K., but it may be a possibility.
    Something else I’d like to point out is the archons from Celestia. I noticed so far that almost all of the archons’ physical appearances and even their names are extremely similar to the herrschers from Honkai Impact. Venti reminds me of Wendy, the herrscher of wind from Honkai, and Raiden Ei reminds me of Raiden Mei, the herrscher of thunder from Honkai Impact. The pyro archon’s name is Murata, which also happens to be Himeko Murata’s, possibly the herrscher of fire’s name. Even the unknown god from the beginning of the game reminds me of the herrscher of the void. I’m not sure if there is a herrscher that looks similar to Zhongli, but so far I have not discovered any. If all of them are connected to Celestia, the chances of Celestia is somehow related to Honkai is bigger. It could be possible that when Celestia was choosing its archons, maybe they transported some sort of power like and/or from the herrschers. The celestial gnosises given to the archons could be that “power” granted to them(?). Of course, this all might just be a coincidence or an Easter egg as Venti CHOSE to take the form of his deceased friend. But who knows? Knowing mihoyo, I heavily doubt this is all purely a coincidence or just an Easter egg/design made by mihoyo because they are the company of both games. Plus, Yae Miko reminds me of Yae Sakura, despite Miko not being an archon and Sakura not being a herrscher. So a character from genshin’s physical appearance being very similar to a character from Honkai may mean something we do not know yet.
    Thank you for taking the time to read! Of course, some parts may be inaccurate, so please correct me if it is! :]

    Do remember that the Lumine trailer exists, where the place the twins got separated starts falling apart, the "endless sky". The floating islands that we see today could very likely be the last resemblance of the "endless sky".
    Likely after the destruction, which could've happened during the time when Khaenri'ah gets destroyed along with the "endless sky" (with the pillars), the Unknown Goddess defied someone of a higher being to destroy Khaenri'ah. Leading to the destruction of 2 areas with the destruction of the "endless sky" caused by the destruction of Khaenri'ah.
    The Sustainer of Heavenly Principles probably broke a rule between the interaction of mankind via destruction of Khaenri'ah, and perhaps something to do with Raiden Makoto.

    I see the 'loading screen' like the Genshin Impact version of the Honkai Impact's Sea of Quanta, a Nexus between worlds.
    In fact it makes sense to be the starting screen of the game because is what we use to go from our real world to the world of Teyvat.

    My theory is that after the twin arrived in teyvat they were locked away from their powers but one of them woke up and created Khaenriah which took them decades. but 500 years after khaneriah was destryoed the other twin woke up with new teyvat without khaenriah.
    Basically thats what the other twin means "Until the abyss engulfed the thrones, my war with destiny will see no end".
    Meaning they are angry that celestial gods commanded the archons to destroy the new nation they created. The other twin who woke 500 years later does not know about this. But we soon will.

But they got ambushed in this space by someone even more powerful and were forced to stay in Tevyat. I wouldn't be suprised if beyond that realm there would be even more powerful and ancient beings then the sustainer.

    Apart from the clue that, that “heavenly place”, is something you need to pass through in order to go to another world, we have to pay attention to how the twin in the first cutscene, described how they came here. “Fell”, while this could be paimon misunderstanding, or just using another word, you can always just use “came” or “travelled”. This means something mustve happened in the prev world. “You fell here from another world, but when you wanted to leave, some unknown god stopped you?”. The other twin waking up earlier than the traveller point that when they fell here, they lost consciousness. If the twin woke up much earlier than the traveller, why did they not wake up the traveller? Was there something that prevented the traveller from waking up, or being woken up? If the traveller woke up after the destruction of khaen’riah (forgive my spelling”, is ‘some unknown god stopped you’ connected with the other twin? If the other twin knew Dainsleif, enough to even be traveling together, is the twin somewhat connected to the royal family? Say the twin did a huge contribution to the development of khaen’ria, does that mean the unknown god stopped the twins from going to another world, to take the twin?
    Im hella confused. Why did paimon say “Fell from another world”, what is the relationship between dainsleif and the twin? Is the twin connected to the fallen nation, the reason why they were taken? What exactly made the people of that fallen nation, transform to what we know today as hilichurls?
    My brain hurts.

    I am pretty sure the Celestia we see in the sky is not a 3D model, rather just a floating sprite. I assume it's a placeholder just like the Dragonspine mountain, Inazuma islands, or even The Chasm's current in-game form. And when the time comes for us to finally go there, we may see Celestia that's similar in overall shape but very different in details.

I suppose this is a division between realms, which would make sense, considered Honkai is set in the same MULTIVERSE and not UNIVERSE, meaning you enter the other realms here. Funny idea I thought of is what if the twins were stopped from entering Honkai bwahah. It's just a funny idea. The key to finding out where that place is is probably lying in why we weren't allowed to progress to another placr.

    I'd say this is the border of the tyvat , you see in the opening section of the game, it ends by a portal, that leads to Tyvat , so the siblings were probably crossing the borders through the sky cuz they're traveling the stellar sea, I heard from a different video that the shape of tyvat could be himosphere, meaning it's a land surrounded by a barrier located in a huge ocean, which gives it a himospheric shape.
    So I'm pretty sure it's the edges of tyvat.

    That brings me to another theory. What if, Paimon is a creature that belongs to that mistaken for celestia area that theoretically could be a pathway to different worlds. It would make sense why we enter tevyat through a door. If we believe there are many doors connecting to different worlds each. And we were stopped there by that unknown "god" and pushed back to tevyat.
    Back to Paimon, if she belongs to that area, it would make sense why no archon knows anything about her, not anybody in tevyat ever has seen or read about Paimon before. Simply because she doesn't belong to tevyat per se. But since she, (If we assume belongs to that pathway were we got stopped to leave) is someone from there, it would make sense that she stands above archons and can control certain things. Maybe she's hiding her plans. Or maybe she forgot entirely why she came into tevyat just to be rescued by us

    • @HmLys
      @HmLys 2 года назад +1

      But it's also sus why no one is questioning what she is. What race she belongs to and why she's the only thing in whole tevyat besides monsters that can float. She's ignored by anybody who meets her for the first time. People do acknowledge that she's a flying thingy, but that's all. Not even kids question what she is and why she can float and talk.
      In the enconomiya quest, after we fought with enjou for the first time, he said "don't trust people blabla, take that floating thing for example. one day it could turn it's back to you blabla" (Something along these lines)
      What IF, paimon can kinda mindcontrol everybody into ignoring her so that no one, not even us who fish her out of the water, don't question what kind of creature she is.

    From doing the travel journal quest in Inazuma, we learn some "half-fake information" that Fontaine is an area in the clouds.
    So I was guessing that maybe it's the undeveloped Fontaine that might have a giant pool of water underneath and long water falls that falls to it.
    Or
    Maybe it may have a direct link to Sumeru and supplies them with a water source. The God's could possibly be at odds and a world quest maybe to create that harmony.
    Either way, if that was the concept I'd be excited. Maybe the higher into the "sky" we go is the more we'll see Fontaine's land.

    HM. About the inside of the Celestial Nails containing that blue stuff... Maybe the Celestia we see in the sky was a kingdom of a god-king (like Deshret or Remus) who could access the leylines. Leyline power is blue. So, in an attempt to get closer to the Heaven Realm, that god-king created the Celestia island and empowered it with the memories/souls of the leylines, which allowed it to hover, like the machines of Deshret's kingdom. It broke free of the ground of Teyvat and has been in the sky ever since, occasionally dropping its pillars on places.

    I don't think it is Celestia either, but i think you should know (and review) that the design and decorations of the loading screen, also known as the place where the sustainer battled the twins, has the exactly same architectonic style of the statues of the seven archons. They both have the same type of white stone with the same type of golden decorations, so this place is, at very least, sharing the same source/designer.
    Also, we enter to Teyvat through a gate we open in this place. This means that, while the twins arrived Teyvat in meteors, they probably heard about this place and tried to used to get an easy travel to the next world, before the sustainer of heavenly principles appeared to stop them.
    Ps: architecture and archon have etymological relation.

    Yo creo que cuando encontremos el último pilar que está bajo agua (quizás) podamos ver a Celestia, hasta entonces tenemos que esperar a que habiliten todo la parte norte. Estos pilares son especiales, capaz que por eso tienen esa roca azúl, además en Inazuma, los murales muestran que hacían una especie de ritual a la luna y los pilares hacían que hiciera un tipo de destello o algo la luna, en Sima el pilar se carga y brilla. Todavía tengo muchas dudas respecto a ellos, están incompletos, en Sima, si mal no recuerdo hay una parte donde un npc dijo que "es como si sus partes se buscarán para completarse", en fin habrá que verlo más adelante. Pero lo que si es que le estamos dejando hacer lo que quiera a hoyoverso con nuestro tiempo, muchos juegos hacen la misma estrategia que ellos pero ya se pasan.
