Of course in a region based on Chinese culture, they had to include the common trope of Chinese alchemy where they do things always in 49 days, or often stylized as "seven seven forty-nine days" (七七四十九天). You might remember Sun Wukong was cooked in the crucible for 49 days as well. This trope probably originated from Buddhism where it was believed the dead are rebirth in 49 days. Which is also referenced in Qiqi's name (七七).
so thats why qiqi's japanese name is nana which literally mean seven in japanese

The stolen Statue of The Seven's Barbatos was from the cliff on the east of Cape Oath, Mondstadt. Past the Electro Hypostasis, below the Spiral Abyss Portal (where there was a wind mechanics to fly up the sky to reach the portal)... The wreckage there shows the same pattern of floors used on several statue of the seven, plus the circle part where something was uprooted correlates to the size of the Statues' pedestal rim size
I thought monstadt was the land with the least lore, but to think that the abyss would only target the anemo archon rather than the other seems a bit suspicious…..

That is actually unlikely as it would dispurp the ingame world continuity. People of Tevyat are aware of the existence of domains. The entrances to domains are part of the world itself, not a game-only feature. It would make no sense for such a domain door to suddenly be where the entrance to the forge is supposed to be and would disrupt the immersion and in-world logic quite a bit. In other words, it will probably be some kind of Enkanomia-like add on.

While chasm is the dragonspine equivalent in liyue, blackcliff forge might be the equivalent for dandilion sea that's gonna be released for monstad.
But we’re not even sure if the dandelion sea exists. It is only featured in The Fox in the Dandelion Sea, a book in Genshin.

I tried to make my own dandelion sea in my tea pot, but I wasn’t able to because dandelions can’t be placed as furniture.

hello cat,actually there were quest related to blackcliff forge .its called blackcliff woes from manager kuan ,person who near toy seller.but He said as long chasm closed,blackcliff forge also closed.Other than that,nothing much .

Its just not a dedicated main world quest about the entry into the Forge (like how we entered into Enkanomiya and Tsurumi), just a small tidbit about the Forge. So yeah, no world quest actually related to Blackcliff forge at the time of the video

Idk why but despite Liyue being based on Hoyo's own country i feel like its still incomplete compared to Inazuma.
The irony that the newest region (Inazuma) felt more complete than the other released 2 countries (Mond & Liyue)
This is one of the reason (for me) why Genshin is such a great game. Everything they release has a meaning to it. I hope they did not forget about this little detail they added though. But maybe one day they'll make a world quest about it. They're probably just waiting for another Liyue quest since we are still currently at Inazuma.
But I can't imagine how heavy this will be on our devices though. I wonder If they already have any plans for it. Because obviously this will be one of the downfall of the game. Not because its bad but because its not playable anymore....
I think the game is already completed story-wise, lore-wise or detail-wise. You can ask them about a random building in game, why it is there, and they will tell you if they are allowed to.
Now they just implement and release them at reasonable pace so player don't get overwhelmed (and for commerical purpose as well)

It must be completed on paper and whiteboard, or else there will be plot hole and/or development will be slowed down later on.
Of course the details may be changed later to suit community needs, but the general plot is fixed (and that is what shown in the Chapter PV).
I think all areas load in separately. Every time you go to a different nation it takes longer to load than if you went to a waypoint of the same nation you are in. So its clear it loads differently so no extra lag at least. The only problem is storage, especially in mobile devices and consoles. I have a ps4 and barely have any space for new games, if genshin keeps growing in gb size then I will have to delete data
White tessel is the rarest 3* polearm. I dunno why I never get this weapon from opening chests. I only have this at R2 in my inventory.
i feel like just a factory wouldn't be enough for a whole new map, probably it would just be a domain in there it seems like a perfect place for a domain. oh my god they should've put the weapon ascension domain in there
The factory + the whole labyrinth of tunnels inside might be big enough for a map. Depends on how deep it goes

Boy, we would’ve been forging Blackcliff weapons if there was a forgery function for there. They would’ve given us GOOD weapons if they added a forge there.

Here's my theory if ever Blackcliff forge will get added or not:
Since 2.6 is gonna be the Chasm, There's a low chance for Blackcliff forge to get added,
If 2.6 has some world quest connected to Blackcliff forge, then it would probably get added in a version or two, just like Enkanomiya
But knowing how much Hoyoverse likes Liyue, and makes extra stories of it, They might make another Interlude chapter involving the forge, probably involving Yun Jin and Beidou, since they are acquaintances, Yun Jin is a descendant of the Yun clan, and Beidou's canonical weapon is the Blackliff Slasher
But Seeing how untouched it looks, chances are it will be forgotten by Hoyoverse and will be left untouched
I think the forge will be released in 2.6 because it is part of the chasm, that's all

The lore behind prototype series and blackcliff series is actually interesting, tells a story of two generations from two families. 2:06 I think it was Yun Hui who designed the prototype series with the help of Han Wu, not the family of Kun.

Look how they work, there patterns, the stage on which they appears, everything about them tells something that they are different. I would like to know your view on hypostasis😀

here is another liyue oddity, so liyue the chinese nation, where people have chinese names
the archon's common name: Rex Lapis, is latin
the electro twin's common names are japanese like their nation

We did something similar to the enkanomiya moon deep quest. We had to find 2 orbs to put in the statues heads. If they mean to open that location up, we will probably talk to that same dude.

Very interesting. I’m actually not sure if I’ve ever been to this location, despite having 100% exploration progress in Liyue. I’ll have to check it out next time I play. I definitely do imagine that Hoyoverse might add something there at some point. Personally, I’d just expect a domain entrance to be added, or one of those cracks in a wall with wind blowing through for a future story quest or hangout event, or a limited time event may be set there. Maybe if the story ever has us returning to previous regions, something will get added there.
This is a very interesting lore video about the Blackcliff Weapons and you're probably the first youtuber to discuss it in full detail. Interesting theory about what could the Blackcliff Forge would looked like, if it is going to be given its own area to explore.
Ur videos usually feel concentrated makes me feel it. Today's felt like a light novel, interesting take.
They could also add it like an event domain where we explore the blackcliff forge for something and areas get unlocked per day, since the forge is inside the mountain, they may remove the wooden structures and make it as the entrance to the domain.
As someone interested in the lore, these videos are really helpful in digesting it o-o

Imagine we will get a Blackforge Arc when Demon Slayer season 3, Sword Smith Arc, is on-going.
Just in case someone didnt know, the sword at 0:30 can be claim in game and player can only have one, cause it is not gacha/forge weapon. U can get it by teleport to downtown of Liyue harbour then turn right to the store of Chen the sharp. Chat with him through some dialogue then he will give it to u.

Talking about something below Liyue, me and my sister found darker area in the river near Wangshu Inn. Something similar found in the God of Salt's dungeon in Zhongli's story quest. It keep us wondering is there something lies below them....

liyue is sooo huge we have port city, mining area, ghost village, and also tea village zhongli also say about a tea village in north of liyue (sry i forgot) to find a quality tea.
I must say, this kind of content is miles better than some of those click-baiting, pointless channels.
I am AR56 and I actually only recently discovered the 'entrance' of blackcliff forge area, despite having the majority of Liyue at around 90% explored. I jumped off the jade chamber and suddenly found this corner that i had never been to, talk to NPCs then realised the name is the same as the weapon series in the shop.
Blackcliff forge had a dwarves kingdom vibe to it, with the statues at the side and stuff
I've been mostly everywhere in current version of Teyvat but never I come to find that Blackcliff forge was right under my nose just outside of harbor.
Come to think of it in the Bar event Zhongli mentioned a village in the north Liyue where people are brewing excellent tea, I wonder if it's going to be added in the future.
is it the Qince Village? It's in the north part of Liyue (so far)
@@DafaIdham I was thinking if it wasn't Qingce but the spelling used in Zhonglis dialogue felt different than for Qingnce
I believe it was only recently added there during the previous update as they had a good reason to since they were using the resource from the forge to assist in the reconstruction of the jade chamber since I've been to that area many times and never noticed it before.

from all info you said i think that if ever are going to go there it could be when we visit the chasm since it used to be a mining area, soo maybe there will be a world quest needed to do before we go down there just like with the ´´ Moon-Bathed Deep´´ quest and Enkanomiya. Thats just a small copium theory tho I really i am not that deep within genshin lore soo this is more of a copium wish of mine because now im reallyyy excited to explore this area 😅

for the making of cor purum needing 49 days, can be due to the fact in chinese there's a saying '七七四十九天, which is ' 7 7 49days'(7*7=49). it comes from a believe that the god would use this exact amount of time to make 仙丹(some powerful medicine that can make you be stronger or cure disease instantly). but in real life, this saying is used to describe much effort and time was used to make something, and that thing is in premium quality given the effort and time used.
I've actually seen most of these references while exploring in game while talking to different people it's so good to know that all of it was connected to each other making a big picture. I love this video

Nah, it'll be related to World Quests related to the Chasm when it comes out.
there are lots of places that are potentially quest areas but not yet implemented in the game like wide enclosed space with nothing in it but grass and small crevices that could be a dungeon entrance. Since the devs aim to release 17 new characters every year (heard it from their GDC), then maybe those are for their story quests.
I expect a TB or less of content once we reach the end of the game.

This means that the ley-line tree is somewhere beneath around liyue. Or it could be that the tree from which the bow string was made of be a part of the tree that oversees liyue ley-lines. That could also explain the difference between monsters in different regions.

I never got the appeal of Chasm. Maybe people wanted it so much just for dendro element. That was until I saw concept art of the area. But this, this is on a whole another level. Now I'm excited for v5.0 content probably who knows.

There are other similar large statues around liyue; two in luhua pool that have a puzzle/quest associated with them, some in Lisha that we see during Xiao's story quest, and one fallen in a pool of water elsewhere in Lisha. Do you think these have any connection to blackcliff forge as well?

Yeah I've been wondering about this since the start of the game, i suspect they won't anytime soon now that chasm is first and likely a midway to Sumeru. Before i thought we might just never period because we have no more business in liyue and have to move on but also it's obvious the game needs any extra content as redundant as it may be
Leakers said that there would be a new way to collect weapons and I believe this forge will the way to obtain it, would be cool to play a longer domain to obtain weapon refinements or billets

I believe that the black cliff forge may be added with the chasm in 2.6. From what we know in the 2.5 livestream, it seems like 2.6 would likely have a very focused on technology, machinery, and industrialisation. Adding the black cliff forge would really add to this theme.

There's a lot of new dark underground tunes and maps like enkomomya and now tye Chasm, I want them to release an above area in The sky, a map in the sky, similar to where we fought dvalin but bigger obviously...

Considering we have the Chasm as a separate map area, I reckon if we do go into the Blackcliff Forge, it'll probably just be a domain.
Btw, there was this logo (it was kind of like the face of azhada but they said that there had been strong noises and mysterious noises below ground. This may suggest that it could be related to the blocked cave wall, because the noises had scared the workers out of the cave, never going again. To prevent others from seeing it as well, they blocked the cave.
Oh i just noticed that the prototype series is a prototype meaning the blackcliff is the superior coz of crit dmg too ;-;
I wonder which sub area we’ll get next after the Chasm. There aren’t any more places titled on the map so there’s no way to know yet. It might be Sumeru territory since we have one expansion in each region unless you count Inazuma having four. Watatsumi, Enkanomiya, Seirei, and Tsurumi.

Hi, I want to ask about something interesting. If the archons are keeping people from Celestia, why did they give their gnosis? I assume that Venti/Barbatos knows that Signora wants to take his gnosis before his gnosis got taken.
the archons are probably supporting tsaritsa to rebel against celestia. i have a feeling that murata of natlan will be the one who refuses to do it, and will tell the traveller about archon secrets before we face tsaritsa
