The root pack is the easiest but Goopy’s definitely the most simple since there’s no projectiles, he just jumps around and occasionally attacks, and each phase does the same thing, just slightly amped up.
You can also kill any pink enemy. Parrying off of pink enemies kills them, but since it was a parry (instead of shooting them) it doesn't count against the P rank. This is demonstrated during run and guns in the video such as at 5:03.
The DLC probably comes under a different category since cuphead speeding began a while before the dlc so announced, so they'd probably make a separate category with the DLC (btw I get your joking)
Base game is 200% while DLC is 100% so that'd be 300%. I think he was quiet for this comment because it was kinda dumb if you understand how the games progression works

Yes, but Hater% actually requires not shooting at all, not just getting a P Rank at the end. And you can't kill the cannons with a parry (unlike pink enemies, which also don't count toward breaking P Rank even if you kill them with a shot instead of a parry).

But BECAUSE people tend to avoid glitchless/100% categories, it makes "haters" want to see the runner complete them, as some kind of cosmic punishment for choosing how they want to play the game?? Idk, it's weird. I find it particularly prevalent in games like Silent Hill/Sonic/Banjo-Kazooie, where people want to see the "perfect" games.
The fact that the Hater% world records for both legacy and current versions are UNDER AN HOUR is mind blowing. This category is insane and TheMexicanRunner is an amazing speedrunner, I'd definitely recommend checking his runs on GDQs and ESAs, he's hilarious 🎉
I feel like the hardest challenge would be to not be able to attack, have the charm that auto fills the cards and using only the ex of the peashooter to attack Which means you can basically only dodge stuff, attack every so often and bosses become tests of endurance

I finished all bosses with a S-rank except the last 4 flying bosses because I got stuck at that Djimmi. I take my hat off for your skills in this game. Only under 10 minutes while doing all the 9 minibosses in the casion is impressive too, especially because of mister Chimes.
