Fun fact, the coop health scales depending on the amount of alive players. You actually do 50% less damage if 2 players are alive, it's not boss health being doubled. If someone dies at the start, the boss will start taking normal amounts of damage again which makes it feel like singleplayer.
Thats actually facts and i saw that when i was in a run and gun and my friend died i could one shot mobs again.the same with the boss minions.on short your attack has less power when your friend is alive.pretty interesting.thats made so multiplayer is more balanced bc if it wasnt for that everyone would try to find a friend just for extra damage(but i think it was already obvious so sorry for wasting your time).i am just happy to see someone actually knowing this

Feel like next time you should beat the game with her. Not having her die and then just beating the bosses because it’s easier that way. It would be way more challenging for you to have to restart the entire boss battle and Casey can learn as well but idk that’s what my brother and I do
I don't know if the cuphead creators fixed this in a patch but in the devil fight, if you go right up to the hole but not inside the hole, you can just shoot the devils' skin until it says boss beaten or whatever when you beat them. also please to the dlc I'd love to see you and Cassie speedrun that.
2nd contoler has the option to join in at any time with 1 hp if there isn't a second player. if you disconect the second player in the pause menu the prompt will appear allowing you to revive the 2nd player mid game with no down sides.I used this alot when playing cup head with friends and family as im usaly better at surving then them. this is not a glitch, its a featue so it has worked from realise to dlc.
Tip: If player 2 dies but their ghost goes off-screen, you can go to the pause menu, remove player 2, and then they can rejoin. It's a little bit slower than reviving, but it's worth it in general.

Damn, I spent several months trying to defeat Grim Matchstick and she actually almost did on her first ever time playing Cuphead, and I was only able to defeat him with the secret Djimmy wishes.
Alright look, I've played Cuphead enough times to know that the best weapons to use when fighting ribby n croaks is spread, roundabout, and p. sugar. When using the roundabout's EX move in the 1st phase, it does TONS of damage. On phase 2, switch to "Spread" and hold down the shooting button while staying next to the frog fan. On phase 3, just wing it from there. Or just do it your way, im not forcing you.
I use this all the time so here’s a tip if you didn’t know, you can remove and have player 2 rejoin with one hp and whatever shots/charms/supers they last had you can do this indefinitely as long as your alive to preform the action and if you use heart ring it gets reset every time you boot them up again so literally player 2 is immortal and if they use heart ring they have technically infinite health it’s fun
if you ever do this again with the dlc,if casey dies,you can go into the pause menu,remove casey and then casey can join back and be put back into the battle alive at 1hp!Just a little tip for you if you want to use it.

Here's a tip for those struggling with cala maria, in her 2nd stage if you stay near her head so her beam can't get you then its easy to get by!! Just use your 2nd weapon (the little bombs)and dodge the eals bullets which there arent a lot near cala marias head

If you go really close to calla maria when she is trying to turn you to stone you wont get turned to stone :D hope this helped!!!!
