My dude, I just got sold when you showed the trigger in SA. And thank you for showing. I just got and installed my TJIB on 7/6/24; I've yet to shoot my Px4 but wow. Turned into a different gun.
I got two PX4 GSDs from LTT. One has the NP3 coating. There is no difference whatsoever in smoothness or whatever you want to call it. Both are great pistols.
Thanks. Subbed! More PX4 and Langdon content please. Have had several of their products, including the older PX4s, P30s and 92s. Nothing but great things to say about them. Have a newer PX4 on the way now too.
Thanks for the review. The Px4 Compact Carry was the first handgun I bought after 7 yrs in the Marines, but not shooting for 15+ yrs. I out shot everyone with it.. Getting the G-SD next!.
My biggest issue with both talon and handle it grips on my px4c with the most aggressive ones with my grip the right side the bottom back corner is coming up. Possibly may try volkers option.
I modified my PX4 grips by adding on Talon rubber palm grips and the sand paper finger grip texture on the barrel just as you did. You got to make the gun comfortabel for you to shoot. GOOD REVIEW 👍🏾
The only reason I didn’t purchase this exact setup is because they did nothing to the grip. I already have the px4 compact and converted it, added upgrades etc. I run it without an optic but that’s the only thing missing.
I feel the same way about the Talon Rubber grips. Yeah they feel good, but they're not very effective when it comes to traction. They can be very slippery. Idk if you tried the Talon PRO texture before, but I'd caution against that as well. They feel great, and have awesome traction. But the texture doesn't last, it wears off pretty quickly. I've replaced mine twice after several months of use. This isn't just an isolated incident either. I've heard others with the same experience. Ben Johnson replaced his after several weeks. I've moved onto Handleitgrips EDGE grips since then.
I change out my Talon grips as needed. It is nothing wrong with them wearing out after three months; it just means you are shooting a lot. Besides, Talon even tell you the grips will not last forever 👍🏾
If Beretta would release a new PX4 subcompact with a rotating barrel I would order one direct from Langdon in a heartbeat. As it is, the current offerings are just a little too big and heavy for me. I could say the exact thing about a Cajunized CZ P01 as well. Wish they'd go a little smaller for more practical cc, I'm just not looking for pistols that I would only use at the range. Maybe we'll see some new subcompacts in the next few years, until then the P30SK lem is where it's at for me. Thanks for the video
Yeah, it's really too bad. I'd like to think that Firearm companies are taking hard look at conceal options due to the wild popularity of micro 9's over the past few years though. I'd really like to see a smaller P01. The P01 is such a fine piece with a ridiculously handsome price but it's just not small enough to make the cut. I don't even like to look at it because it hurts...
How many quartz crystals can you get in a watch? You’re going to be late anyway. No room for rotating barrel and little benefit from a short rotating barrel, not enough mass.
I told you who to ask lol, pretty sure his credentials and opinion hold plenty of value. Go take a class from him maybe he can help you learn how to be more effective.
Softer recoil by a bit, if you get both done up by Langdon though it’s a pretty close toss up with the px4 having better recoil but a p30 lem will have the better trigger and still less recoil than most other guns
Personally, I think it’s regrettable that Beretta “teamed up with” Langdon and has come close to doubling the price of what was once a very good quality, reasonably priced self defense pistol (as it came from the factory). My first was a 9mm compact (EDC which I still carry to this day), it cost me $500 at Cabela’s and Beretta had a $50 rebate on it at the time. Admittedly, that’s been a few years ago. My second is a 45ACP, full size home defense (nightstand) gun, also was reasonably priced. Typical of a “competitive” shooter (not everyone is), what I’ve seen LTT’s partnership with Beretta do is substantially drive up the price of what was once an attractively priced self defense gun. 🤏😒
@@randyreviewsit Yeah, that was basically my point. Several of the so-called improvements are great IF you’re after a competition “race gun” like Landon makes it. Otherwise a lot (most?) of his changes are either cosmetic or designed to improve competition scores. 🤷🏼. If you’re an old fart like me with old eyes, you’re not going to benefit from most of his changes - maybe with the exception of his trigger job. Which, as you pointed out, Beretta should be doing at the factory themselves. 🙄. Glad I bought my PX4’s when I did - back when they were reasonably priced SELF DEFENSE pistols.
@@larrysfarristo be fair, you don’t HAVE to do this stuff. The 92X is a great gun without the tricks, they still offer the FS, M9, etc. I was even tempted by a Girsan (Turkish copy) that was cheaper then the 92x but finally settled on the real deal. The APX A1 is also probably one of the best deals right now price wise. $450 (or so) for a Beretta striker fire pistol.
@@Thabosshoss To be fair, IF you want a COMPACT PX4 Storm with the rotating barrel, then Beretta’s option is now limited to a more expensive Gen 2 which more than shows the Landon touches (at a corresponding higher price point) AND a heavier (bull?) barrel on a CARRY gun. Just doesn’t make sense to me but I’m sure the free market will sort it out…sooner or later. 💁🏻♂️

NP3 be like upholstery protection and rust proofing on a new car.
I love mine. I bought a super cheap used px4 and sent it to LTT. Best money I've spent on a firearm so far.
You have to own a PX4 Storm and grow with it. Well done

Yeah sending my p30l in this week hopefully

Thanks man

yeah might have to buy the compact carry.
Great review, brother! This is the next one on my list. So sick! Appreciate you!

Freaking sick i want to try one .

Getting my own soon thanks for the review
Love your channel. Would like to see a review on the 92 Elite LTT RDO Compact or Centurion.
Looking at getting the full 92g later this year.
@@randyreviewsitI've got it and I've carried it daily for over a year now. Love it. Trigger is bonkers.

holster selection is KSG armory JMCK and Tier One for the top players. Add the VPA comp to it and it makes it even better.
Yeah been waiting for more holsters for the comp before I order one
If going with the VPA comp non light bearing option JMCK is the only option as they have a mold for it.
I have his p30l with lem gray gun trigger and love it. This will be my next purchase.
Yeah sending my p30l lem in hopefully I. Tye next week or two

Great review. Added magwell and comp to LTT G-SD. Have a LTT CC on the way; added stippling to grip for reasons you’ve mentioned.
Yeah I am waiting for more holster options then I might try the comp.
Got one fully decked myself. The comp is very underwhelming and doesn’t do much besides the looks and holster compatibility due tue x300 light.

Yeah the subcompact I don’t think is coming back.

Is that Goon tape on grip?
Just regular hockey tape, it’s cheap and does the job
Don't expect your usp trigger to comeback like the Beretta.
no Safty ?
Decocker only
whats the difference between the np3 and dlc coating? which is better
DLC definitely lasts longer.
I cant help but notice you dont show your hits on target or groups, so how do we know how good you supposedly are?
Ask Reid Henrichs how well I did at valor ridge two weeks ago…

I think it’s fine

Glock 45 9 mm that’s what I have it for the price. It wins on everything reliable great gun fuck the Beretta.
