Can't comment on the PX4, or the Langdon package as a whole, but I did install just their high performance trigger bar on my Beretta 92, and all I can say is WOW! It doesn't shorten the double action pull, but it seems to reduce the stacking, so without measuring it, I'd guess it's a lighter pull overall. Where it really shines is that single-action reset, which is exactly as shown in this video. Easy to install on the 92, because the trigger bar rides outside the frame; took about ten minutes, much of that time spent in removing the grip panels. If you have the tools and ability to replace the trigger bar on the PX4, and are reluctant to spend the time and money to have the total Langdon package, you might consider trying out just this one Langdon part. About $85, and takes about a week to get it from their site.

You didn't mention anything about the PX4's somewhat unique rotating barrel. Have you noticed any reduction in recoil on all your PX4's due the cycling mechanism? Thanks!
I want to know that too. I have a good idea that it will be something we’ll feel. Ppl try putting exact percentages of muzzle flip ,recoil ect on ammo, ported guns ,you name it. Again, I think it’s definitely going to be there & also will be different experience from person to person. The feel of anything is hard to put into words, add a different Individual and that description just changed. I am planning on watching & waiting on the resurge of interest in this gun to settle down & probably for the next election to pass on by before getting started on this path. Don’t get me wrong…If I just happen to come across one in a used case ,pawn shop or something & the price was right.. Id get it. I’m going to presume that you are interested in GP’s too. I am. The chance of seeing one of those in a store is slim. Im most likely going to end up with a Excalibur mk12 because it’s big & cool and all. The Berettas are going to be the better gun for me to carry im fairly certain. The more rounded shape around the hammer area..tends to look more like a part of the body under a shirt.&/or like a roll in the fabric of the shirt if you get what I’m saying. I am carrying successfully IWB for the first time recently..almost 2 years…BUT..!.OWB will always be more comfortable..for me anyway. & that might change with time. For these guns ,im personally starting with a owb ,M/H ride leather holster, canted a little. 6-8 degrees or so. .like the fast on/off snaps. I got into m/h owb leather with some past experience with a Glock & a Galco fletch. Enough for now. I’d say go ahead and get the gun. Or you’re going to be wondering. You only live once. Its a beretta. You know its going to be a good one. I’m not paying a crazy rockstar of guns price for the LT unless it’s a sane price. Haven’t checked yet. Take care
I own the Px4 storm compact 9mm. I'm trying to think of a way to describe it. It's like comparing a chain italian place with Italian food from my nonas kitchen... Great, now I'm hungry... The rotating barrel was what made me choose this model. I am soooooo glad I did. I have owned this for about 8 or 10 years now... I'd have to look at the paperwork in the box. Out of the box... Pros... The recoil is about half what any of my other pew pews had. I have run several thousand rounds thro it no issues. It drives nails, and I barely have to readjust after each shot. Dislikes... Very long and heavy 1st pull unless cock the hammer. Long trigger reset. Grip is not very textured Limited colors All the dislikes are fixable and planning on replacing the trigger bits and I can always get it cerekoted. My other one is a canik. 10/10 would buy both again. I love my px4 storm and canik so much I traded in my other 2 micro 9s for another canik.
@@sillyrabbit78 Interesting! I've a tale to tell! Fixated, myself, on the rotating barrel, I found a pistol that appeared to satisfy my desires. Not a Px4, it is a Grand Power K100 D in 9mm. This pistol is unique. Easy take-down; difficult re-assembly -- until you get the hang of it! P.S. I developed a taste for PCC's, so I got Beretta's CX4. Someday, I'll get the PX4 -- especially after reading your comments! I also love my Canik! I've got the TP9V2 model. Wonderful gun!
This attempt at humor tells us two things. You don’t own a beretta, and you don’t own a hi point lol. Probably don’t own or have ever shot a gun outside of COD.
Since there is less than an ounce difference in weight, I was considering the full size vs the Carry 2. How do they compare when carrying? is the Carry so much easier to EDC? If you could only have 1, which would it be? What do you think about the sub-compact. I've not heard of that.
I have. I'm neutral on liking Berettas, so I rented my gun range's PX4 compact, and it was far more accurate than the full sized 9s I was shooting. I was stunned. Was priced too high when it hit over $900, considering I can get a LOT more gun for the same money. People told Beretta to fck off at that price point, so they have dropped to around $650. If they get to $450 I'll get one as an EDC. The only complaints I hear is that if you put 200+ rounds through at the range and don't ultrasonic clean it and get the bypass port scraped out completely you will have FTEs.
@@proverbialmind_spread9421 Why would I be insane for expecting a gun to be priced correctly? Maybe you've just gotten so used to them jacking up the prices that you think it's a normal price and will let them rip you off. Were there NP3 parts they couldn’t do? I emailed them and they told me they can do a trigger job and RDO cut but can’t do NP3 internals. Were there certain NP3 parts they couldn’t do for you as well?
that is true. i have two PX4's. One i bought (Full Size) and then sent to LTT and one I bought directly from LTT (Compact Carry). Maybe in my full size the trigger bar is coated but that's it. In the LTT Compact EVERYTHIING inside is coated - including the magainzes. The magazines are super awesome (and I think you can buy those separately) - but in all honesty..... I can't say that the NP3 shoots any better than the non coated one....if I had it to do over would have just bought both from LTT because it's a little cheaper, but I have had zero issues with my full size that didn't have the coating.... actually it's becoming my favorite gun to shoot... makes me look good at the range!!! No. Because sub compact is tilting (browning) action but the compact (and full size) have the rotating action. Not interchangeable. Thanks so much for watching!!
I did consider but chose not to with this upgrade. Also bought a compact carry directly from LTT and didn’t do the optic. No good reason. Probably should have added to one or the other (with optic option you don’t need ameriglo sites - they give you plain black blade). Gun crazy accurate w just sites - can’t imagine an optic also!
@@TheArkansasGunGuy - I don’t think there is enough slide length on the compact carry for an optic. I agree on crazy accurate. I LOVE my LTT compact! Such a phenomenal shooter. Just thinking the optic is nice to add for quickly acquiring target in a urgent situation. I’m strong with standard sights and sometimes prefer them, but am learning that urgent response justifies the use of a quick dot on a target.
The Jamomatic - if a rock small enough gets inbetween the rotating barrel and the lugs of said barrel - that gun will LOCK UP completely. The biggest piece of trash ever for self defense.
The px4 is to fat. Beretta has a long history of terrible design flaws. Someone in R&D makes a decision and the other monkeys just nod their heads in agreement.
worst stock trigger I have ever used to date. unreliable rotating barrel is a gimmick, safety wings shred hands on normal racking process. hard pass on all fronts. more expensive than m&p which has none of those problems and usa made.
its just good etiquette, I have no problems with it. Almost all of the "major" guntubers do this as well, and I take it as an opportunity to educate and show good faith to newcomers.

Grip is not very textured
Limited colors
All the dislikes are fixable and planning on replacing the trigger bits and I can always get it cerekoted.
Px4 storm 9 compact was my first handgun sold it a while back. Miss that thing.
I couldn't find sights for this gun on the Ameriglo site.
Same. Mine came from Langdon. Assuming they have a stock pile of them. The more shoot with them the more I like. Thanks so much for watching!!!
Px4 storms are amazing shooters but I swear they look like the result of a 92 and hi-point yeet cannons drunken debaucheries.
Definitely unique looking!!! Thank you so much for watching!!
Shoot like a dream
This attempt at humor tells us two things. You don’t own a beretta, and you don’t own a hi point lol. Probably don’t own or have ever shot a gun outside of COD.
I own the Storm compact and A300 Patrol. Love my Berettas!!
@@blueskypainters2916no they are fugly. Your post says a lot more about you . Youre a clown
So you now have the full family - all three pistol sizes: full size, compact and subcompact?
Since there is less than an ounce difference in weight, I was considering the full size vs the Carry 2. How do they compare when carrying? is the Carry so much easier to EDC? If you could only have 1, which would it be? What do you think about the sub-compact. I've not heard of that.
I wish they made the frames aluminum and the ability to change grips to wood or G10.
That would be cool. I don’t think there is a metal frame rotating barrel is there!? Thank you for watching!
Get a 1911 then.
@@TheArkansasGunGuy Bond Arms Bullpup has a rotating barrel.
I believe the PX4 is Ernie's EDC and he can choose anything. I love Beretta, but never shot or held that model.
@@repealthepatriotact$450? LOL You're insane! FOH
@@proverbialmind_spread9421 Why would I be insane for expecting a gun to be priced correctly? Maybe you've just gotten so used to them jacking up the prices that you think it's a normal price and will let them rip you off. For example, Glock is the most overrated cheaply made gun on the market and it's selling for twice what it should be. But go ahead, ignore the guns that are the same price that are twice the level of gun because you have Glock tattooed on your ass......
@@repealthepatriotact first off...I've never owned nor will I ever own a Glock. Secondly, you've zero clue about the PX4 obviously nor the Compact Carry model or the LTT models to think that $450 is actually reasonable. You're brain doesn't function properly...you're obviously quite inept...possibly r3tard3d
@@repealthepatriotact 🤡
how much did it cost you for just the trigger job? Planning to do the optics and wondering as well
I can’t remember just the trigger because I had so many other things done. Just checked LTT website and looks like there are options from $125-$225
Thanks so much for answering
I can't find any magazines for my PX4 compact at all. Everywhere is out of stock or the prices are outstandingly high. Oh boo, I will order some magazines for my 92X I guess.
Ditto what you say, love my PX4's. If U are getting one go full size.
They need to make a Subcompact that has the rotating barrel. That's the whole POINT of the PX4. It's a better version of the 92/M9.
I am going if check out the subcompact from Grand Power that does have the rotating barrel. Curious why the Slovakians can do it but the Italians can’t!! Thank you for watching!!
@@TheArkansasGunGuyyes exactly!! Weird, the whole point is to have an in-line recoil pattern! Weird choice to have tilting barrel
Beautiful pistol! Although the (real) Border Patrol and I highly recommend the H&K P2000 in 40 cal! 😅
Great insights, and feedback on the gun and Langdon. Any clue where I can find a PX4 compact nowadays?
They are back in stock at langdon as off today. Good luck
I’m no handy man trust me but I bought a punch set and I installed my optimized trigger bar and 92 decocker levers on my compact carry and it’s 👌
Please save yourself some money
Thanks so much for watching!!
@@TheArkansasGunGuy I appreciate it. It’s been a battle between this and the 92x and I’m leaning toward the px4. Thank you, very informative awesome video💯💯
A friend of mine got a PX4 directly from Langdon Tactical. He got some jamming issues (all factory mags were used). Do you have or ever heard anything similar~?
I want a new gun for steel challenge. Would you recommend the new full size px4 from LTT?
I picked my Langdon tactical used at a little gun shop in Arkansas for $550, they had no clue what they had lol
Dang -I feel like I’ve been in every gun store in Arkansas- hate that I missed it. That was a steal!! Thanks for watching.
Godaam !!!! Did u see the subcompact it’s not like everything is scaled down but this beretta subcompact everything’s big and the same as full size gun like the engineer at beretta called sick on the day and his job was done by a farmer who said listen!!!! Take the full-size a take that saw right there an hack off an inch of the barrel!!!! That how it’s done
Back in the day I really wanted a PX4 Storm. Came across one at a range and fired a few boxes through it and decided it wasn’t for me. One of those “glad I shot it first” handguns that never was. They’re alright to shoot but ugly as hell.
awesome that you could try it before you buy it!!! Wish I could do that more too! It is very unique looking for sure!! Thanks so much for watching!!
I like mine.

Are the triggers (trigger shoe) made of polymer or metal? Thanks
Polymer. Have not looked to see if there is a metal option. guide rod is plastic also - and I know they offer a metal one but a few PX4 experts I know guided me to stay with the polymer option. THANKS FOR WATCHING!!
@@TheArkansasGunGuywait why stay with the polymer?
Is it possible to put the compact slide on the subcompact frame?
No. Because sub compact is tilting (browning) action but the compact (and full size) have the rotating action. Not interchangeable. Thanks so much for watching!!
Is anyone else having a problem with excessive powder blowback on their p x four
Question: Did you consider getting the slide modified for a red dot?
I did consider but chose not to with this upgrade. Also bought a compact carry directly from LTT and didn’t do the optic. No good reason. Probably should have added to one or the other (with optic option you don’t need ameriglo sites - they give you plain black blade). Gun crazy accurate w just sites - can’t imagine an optic also!
and THANK YOU for watching!!!
Can guns with this type of action be run in single action mode like a 1911? Or is it standard to run it DA/SA?
DA is only on the first shot, and that’s only if it’s not cocked.
My hands sweat I feel like I would need Talon grips for this
How much did you spend sending the full size to Langdon to be upgraded?
Within spec lol. It either resets properly or it doesn’t. If Beretta can’t fix their own pistol they should have replaced it. That’s total BS.
Agree 100%. I would be more sad if I didn’t live the gun so much after Langdon upgrades. Thanks so much for watching!!
Looks like a hi point kinda
Canavar
Thank you for watching! B
Canower, gundî! 😆🤣🤣
Raste Belê gidi sipas
The Jamomatic - if a rock small enough gets inbetween the rotating barrel and the lugs of said barrel - that gun will LOCK UP completely.
The biggest piece of trash ever for self defense.
Has this actually happened ?
You absolutely have no idea what you’re talking about. It’s a fantastic self defense weapon.
I will always choose everything made by beretta italy over anything made in USA.
K
Chonk
The px4 is to fat.
Beretta has a long history of terrible design flaws. Someone in R&D makes a decision and the other monkeys just nod their heads in agreement.
it looks like a brick.
…but it is one very ugly gun😂😂😂
get a p.p.
worst stock trigger I have ever used to date. unreliable rotating barrel is a gimmick, safety wings shred hands on normal racking process. hard pass on all fronts. more expensive than m&p which has none of those problems and usa made.
DO NOT DROP THESE IN THE DIRT OR MUD! The rotating bolt is the only downfall to these.
Mil Arms Channel thought the same thing and it held up in dirt and mud about as well as anything else.
"Safety check". buddy if you're filming with live rounds you're a simpleton. No one needs to see you "safety check" every time you touch a gun.,
Good call. Will do better. Thanks for the feedback and for watching!!!
I believe it's a requirement from RUclips nowadays
It's to satisfy the hoplophobes.
Great vid def want both! LTT isnthe real deal.
its just good etiquette, I have no problems with it. Almost all of the "major" guntubers do this as well, and I take it as an opportunity to educate and show good faith to newcomers.
