Beretta just out-does itself with every pistol it makes.
I am SO impressed with the output of this company in recent years.
No gimmicks or 30,000 versions of the same pistol, just purpose-built, thoroughly tested firearms.
Some of their polymer guns have been poop...
@@TheTyrial86 which ones are those?
@@gutblaster187 He's probably talking about the PX4 Storm, which I think was fine and kinda neat, but it was a strange thing with polymer with a huge hammer so it never sold too well.
@@ironmatic1 another bot
It's amazing that Beretta, a high quality firearms manufacturer, producing such an inexpensive firearm. I've seen the full size A1 as low at $365.00
It's not so much that it's inexpensive, it's that other companies charge too much. Glock is an example of that.
$100 rebate makes it sub $300
These A1 compacts are going for $399 on gun broker right now
My left ear enjoyed this
Yup, really odd sound variant.
I shoulda read the comments first 😂
So I'm not the only one 😂😂
Hmm I only have my left bud in cuz I'm at work... Am I in for a treat?
Hopefully they fix the trigger. I hate the APX trigger. It's squishy. Also, this looks likea styer A series
This gun is in my top 5 list.
After several years of concealed carry, I think compact pistols are the best options. The micro compact pistols are only for a few situations where you cannot carry a compact real concealed (for gym, running, beach and so).
What holster do you use to carry the beretta apx a1?
It is great how manufacturers keep coming out with such great looking and functioning products. Great job Beretta. Great job Sootch00.
I have the Full Size. Now I need that Compact. LOVE the fact that the magazines are universal.
I have the compact, but I want the full size with the red dot
The Beretta 92/M9 is the best service pistol ever created. Greedy Generals and the Military Industrial Complex demanded a replacement out of greed, instead of just ordering more Berettas. Now they have a gun that discharges itself in the holster. Great call.
Wrong
I agree with you.
Great review as always. Nice to see more compacts being released.
Love my original APX .
Great music soundtrack
Price, Performance, Durability and Quality. MUST HAVE 🍻
Best review I’ve seen on this gun. Great job my man!
ordered one sight unseen 2 days ago half thinking it wasn’t the compact - if you call Beretta they don’t even have this pistol on their products list nor is it on their website- then good ole Sootch shows up with one and I’m smiling a little wider this morning knowing I have one waiting at the FFL~!! Have the original Centurion and have been waiting for this - optics ready too!!! Christmas came early
I bought the old Apx centurion couple years ago and I love it. Apx A1 compact is definitely the next one on my list.
It's such a pleasure to watch and to listen your reviews. Every time I feel like I'm spending time with dear trusted and reliable friend to whose judgement and advise I can fully trust. Your knowledgeable, enthusiastic and factually rich and objective, measured presentation without any unnecessary exaggerations and tricks and "movie efects" has soothingly relaxed effects in the ocean of aggressive, bombastic and over stage presentation's.
The case in favor of this impresive gun is done the way that it can't be better!!!
I have CZ P-10 c and I really like it very much and Ill keep it as long I'm around (I'm 73), but this Beretta could make my "collection" of one to make it two. 👍👍👍👏👏👏✌️✌️✌️
Hopefully with these new A1 models coming out, we can get a lot more aftermarket for the A1 line as a whole. I love my full size but finding holsters etc can be a pain.
Probably already know this but Vedder makes a decent IWB not sure on a duty Holster
Great content as always, buddy. Looking forward to try this one out
I just got the APX A1 tactical. Love it.
Love it, Sootch! So similar to the original, but updated chassis and oh those long rails. Such a nice, flat shooting CCW.
Great review! Small enough to conceal, large enough to fight with. It's on my list.
Thank you for the nice and detailed review Sootch👍👍Beretta is a very sensitive firearm company to the market. They make innovations according to feedbacks they received from the customers.
I love this pistol, i got it Apx Centurion nice control.
As always, another great product review in detail. Thanks
Great Video/been waiting for this handgun. Appreciate it !
Thanks for the review sootch, I just ordered this for $425 and can't wait to take it out. Also, thanks for letting us know that this is compatible with the APX Zero holsters as well cuz there's not alot of options as of Aug 4 2023.
You and the honest outlaw are the only gun reviewers who’s opinion mean anything to me I love the video and appreciate all the feed back you provide I would really like to see you review the new shadow systems dr920p , with the new integrated compensator.
Thank you Sootch00 for your nice review
Beretta had come up so much since the 80s with selection & quality in the compact sector of side arms... crazy good looking action on this one! I'm thinking that long slide rail is why it shoots si flat as well🔥🔥🔥
Thank you again for your review
Beretta =Quality
You are a great salesman! This pistol is awesome!
Just bought this last night for $299 and going to get the Beretta $100 rebate. What a deal 🔥
Idk y there is not alot of videos on RUclips about this gun!! Thanks sootch
Been waiting for this for a long time
Excellent video, very well explained during take down. Love old school teaching👍👍
Excellent review! All of this info is spot on! LOVE the aggressive grips/ stippling on her! It’s not sliding around in your hand at all.. fits my hand like a glove like my CZ-85.. also liking the wider than usual trigger it’s super comfortable. Also love the triggers travel and reset it’s short and sweet on both ends! Plus she runs any ammo I put through her! The takedown lever was a pain the first 2/3 times just like you said now it’s easy.. as a glock& CZ owner I highly recommend this pistol for anyone who’s looking for a Glock 19 sized striker fire/ polymer handgun and only want to spend 380! Finding accessories for the APX A1 Compact is a little on the short list I guess because it’s newer but that’ll catch up in time! Thanks for doing this review and helping me decide on a great gun! Keep up the awesome reviews my dude! Take it easy -Matt
Great review! Great quality! Love it!
Long live sootch00 .. great reviews. Turning in my Taurus G3X for this Beretta compact.
I had the original and now I have this one and I think it's an awesome pistol and comfortable to shoot.
Freaking loving the full size, can't wait to get my hands on this
At that price, build quality, design, and B’s reputation, I would buy one.
I just bought my A1 Full-Size two weeks ago with the manufacturer assembled optic , I love it so much
I love the Beretta APX family, I have the OG APX Centurion (currently have the Compact 13 round frame on it) and the APX A1 Full Size. I'd like to pick up the APX A1 Compact as well, and I hope they make this new generation of frames in the 13 round (previously called compact) size because I think that's the sweet spot of these guns.
The FCU swap is significantly more of a pain than Sig's is with the 320 series, as I watched you struggle with it a bit it reminded me of going through it myself.
The APX A0 never had a chance in the XM17 trials since it didn't have an established record on the civilian market - one of the requirements of the trials. Miraculously, the Army's solicitation requirements were finalized a little over the year after the SIG P320 was introduced.
I'm not big on polymer-framed, striker-fire pistols but I picked up an APX A1 FS + FF 3 package for a bargain. Though the trigger is like a refined Glock trigger and therefore beaten out by many of its competitors, the way the pistol absorbs recoil is unmatched by other guns of its class.
The Apx pistol looks a lot like the FN 509, but for a lot less $ 😊
You're probably a big fan of the px4 series then
Great review Don enjoyed it they have been around a long time
I have the Apx Centurion.Good all round firearm that performs well in all areas
Loved the review as always. Divided to check Buds gunshop for pricing and pleasantly surprised to find an optics ready version listed.
Thanks for video. What a nice gun❤
I am hooked. Now I definitely want one. I have the 92FS, but this one is going to be my other baby. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I have the Apxa1 full size...amazing handgun.
BERETTA APX, CZ P10C/P10S & FN 503 = THE HOLY TRINITY OF UNDER-$400 POLYMER PISTOLS! Change my mind 😎
I have both the CZ P-10C and the P-10S, which is my EDC. Great guns!
Canik is the best.
@@walterhurdle9226 What features make Canik "best" over the polymer Walthers, HKs, CZs & Berettas other than Canik being cheaper?
Mine comes Thursday...great deal at 325 bucks and a 507c for another $300. Unbeatable deal.
Excelente video as always!!! Greeting from Argentina.
I just picked the APX A1 Compact and I am very impressed. I also found out the best way to use the decocker button is to pull the slide back about and eighth of an inch and then press it to get it to work. Thanks again for all the videos and everything you do
Sootch. Thanks for the review. 😊
I really love my APX A1 FS, and look forward to add this compact version to my collection, only downside are the aftermarket accessories like holsters with optic cut and light/laser
I have the APX 0 and love mine
I was set on a Bersa TPR9c but now I want this Beretta APX A1
The Bersa TPR9c is a fine gun.....I shoot it better than my FN 509c .
Another fantastic video , love my APX pistols cannot wait until they sell this with red dot included hopefully soon . Agree love the old slide
Have the APX A1 Full Sized and it is beautifully made and insanely accurate. When they were first released some the earlier ones had some finish issues not be uniform and a couple had a "slight" slide to frame play. When I finally bought mine it was perfect. Several hundred rounds later it still looks perfect and performs flawlessly. At 15 yards and I concentrate I can get quarter sized groups. Haven't found a compact in St Louis yet but if I can find one I'll buy it. Considering the price its a no brainer.
I'm starting to think a gun is a gun is a gun. They all seem about the same to me anymore. It used to be some guns were reliable and some weren't. Now they all pretty much are reliable. They're pretty much all polymer framed, about the same shape, about the same capacity, about the same weight. Today we can spend $300 for a handgun that is combat handgun sized and combat capable right out of the box. Now it seems it's more about what do you like, what feels good in your hands, what looks good, etc.
Love this gun.
I love them. I have the APX and APXA1 full size
Sweet gun there thanks for sharing sootch00
Thanks for sharing this video.
Beretta Firearms are like the Italians, Beautiful, Lovely and Unique.
Great review. Thank you. My youngest daughter is preparing to carry. She is looking to purchase her first handgun. This is very appealing.
Good lookin gun! Great video!
Holy cow… I almost blew my ear drum after intro!!
So many firearms so little money 😢oh god now I want it
Good looking gun and great review!
Oldman here again. Your always getting me in trouble. Yes I'd love the BUL. So now here you come with a Berreta. As I hear them putting a new roof on. Your are truly killing me to day. Another gun I love a friend bought one and3 loves it so do I . Been looking for a new compact pistol that maybe the one. Once the new roof is paid for. Bad timing. Take care and be safe my friend.
Great video as always...:) I like how you compared this model to the Glock 19. I have a full size original APX and a Glock 19 Gen 5. I think if I got this Compact version my G19 would spend most of its time in the gun safe...:) I'm also in total agreement that the original APX's slide serrations are so useful. I'm almost 65 and the original APX's slide is easy to rack. With that said, I'm glad the G19 Gen 5 has front slide cocking serrations...:) Keep up the great work and I look forward to your reviews, even though sometimes they get me to spend money(Kore belts, firearm tools, etc...:))
Those slide serrations on the zero really caught my eye when it first came out, very appealing.
I bought it, I hope it's good, thanks for the review.
I have an older APX compact. I have many pistols, and I really think the APX is a nice gun. The thing for me- is, I just do not shoot it as well as my M&P 2.0, My Caniks, or my EDC, a Walther PDP compact. I was considering selling it.. but I am absolutely going to go practice with it again, before doing that. In this foreboding, disgusting time in America- I think if you own any guns, its wise to keep all of them.
foreboding disgusting times?
@@berniezander Yeah.
Not a time in History to be an ostrich!
About DAMN TIME that Beretta is getting out more about this. They've been "jerkin' our gherkins" for months now, after first announcing it. I'm very interested in getting one.
I like the older APX slide😎
Nice I like the new design.
$249 after rebate from PSA 3/14/24, bought a compact and a full-size.
Currently have the barrettes apx centurion 15rd that I've had for almost 3 years but looking for a second gun this will definitely be great since I already have mags
Good stuff. It's about time they finally released the compact.
Nobody will care.. it should've been half its size, holding almost as many rounds.
@@Tom-cp6yj Many will care, not everyone likes baby pistols. I can buy a Compact for $399.00
Really want to try all of these berettas.
Great pistol at a great price!
Really good looking gun 👍
reminds me of the compact m&p with the 3.6 slide and frame.
The best one
I think this is the coolest looking comp pistol.
Thanks man I want one
Fallow up: Just got it in. First box of 50R. Hard recoil sping. For now 13 out of 15 rounds, forget my maglula mag loader. At 7yrds im loose on paper. Next range I will change to LG gip. Thanks Sootch for the review.
I’ve been waiting for a compact will be ordering one soon! Hopefully they run a sale with a optic like the fs
The APX 0 is my favorite striker pistol, mostly because of the slide works perfectly with damaged fingers.
Try working the APX0 slide with wet hands or especially if the slide is wet.
Very nice pistol. Beretta. 😎🤘👌🍻
Beretta a Premium brand showing us that Glock is just overpriced
I'm slow to the game. I just found this gun and really really like it the price is not bad. I may have to add this to my EDC collection.Update 10/29. I purchased this gun and ran it at the range for me the trigger is a hard pull but I can get used to that. Sights are good I will be adding this to my EDC rotation after I put more rounds thorough it LOL. I found this for $329. thanks for the review Sootch! :)
I have always liked compacts more than subcompact, micro compact or full size guns.. the compacts are just the perfect size guns for me and I shoot them the best
I shoot full size best, but shoot sub compacts well enough to carry them with confidence. Anything smaller is too much a trade off in my opinion.
Walther apparently jacked the pistol case design of their PDP from Beretta haha. You'll notice how Beretta put the serration design of the original APX on their cases and Walther later did the same for the PDP. (Both amazing guns though.)
Add some call it a budget gun! Love it
Big fan of the PX4 , ive had my hands on the first gen but haven't yet shot one
WHAT I just Bought the APX A1, Not even a year with it yet...................Well better tell the wife we're gonna be eating Ramen noodles for a few more weeks......Beretta you guys are making me broke...AND I LOVE IT!!!!
The price is great. The gun is a really good shooter.
Sweet little pistol , I like the size , design and reliability , it’s a beretta . Like it’s similar to modern pistol design like Walther and HK P30. Will definitely check it. Trigger pull similar to Gen5 Glocks.
