My grand power Q1 comes out of box with a 3.5 trigger pull. Cannot get better than that for a $400-500 gun

These were both considered when I bought mine but I had to go with the VP9.

I can't decide between this or a shadow 2. For a range gun which do you prefer?

I've owned my P30 SK 9mm for almost 2 years now. Approximately 1,500 rounds through it and haven't had a single jam using Blazer Brass ammo. Love this gun! Has the coarsely textured grips that gives secure handling of the gun in either rain, snow, or sweaty hands. Also love the hammer-fire which is SA/DA trigger that makes it a lot more safer than the striker fire guns. Only thing I don't like on it is the chintzy sights that many gun manufactures had started putting on guns so they can then get you to pay more to upgrade to their next level of sight that should of came on the gun in the first place ... my P30 SK WAS NOT inexpensive !

Can anyone tell me how much smaller the small back strap and sides make it? Like would it fit you wife…if she wasn’t in the wnba.

With the small back and sides how small is the grip? I have small hands- small mens golf glove.

Yes, the P7 is a brilliant design in every respect, and the manufacturing quality is superb. The first time I tried one, it was obvious that I’d have to get my own. The handling, feel and accuracy are just superb by any standard, let alone something as compact as it is. I also love the unique way the gas pressure spits out casings. There is nothing else like it.

Does it get in the way when you need to use the bathroom?

Great video! I installed the Gray Guns SRT on my Sig P229, and the factory Sig SRT on my Sig P220ST. The reset on both is incredible. To be honest I could have lived with them with just the standard Sig trigger/reset. Glad you are keeping your P226 with the stock trigger.

I absolutely love the P30 series, specifically the LEM with the GrayGuns short reset. People ask me if I had only one of my handguns, which would I choose and I always pick my P30L, over all Glocks, FN’s, Staccato’s etc. But just like you, it’s not my favorite, my Staccato P Heritage is. I don’t shoot it the best, I shoot the staccatos best. I have not had the most trigger time on it, I’ve shot Glocks for my entire LE career. I don’t even recommend it because the LEM is a whole new animal to get used to unlike all other triggers. But for some reason, I love it so much. Ergonomics are fantastic, reliability is unmatched, paddle release is intuitive for me, breakdown is simple etc. I will never sell my P30’s. Another weird thing, is that I shoot the P30L and the P30sk better than the standard P30. Not sure why. They are all set up the same way.

I’ve got the 941FS IMI It’s the shorter version so a little bit lighter and easier to carry I’ve used to have glock 19 but I’ve fall in love with that one. The design is perfect it’s the Lamborghini countach of the guns. Or the cyber truck , but it’s also shots better for me. Very easy to clean. And the chrome coating of my gun looks like it just left the factory. (It’s a 90s gun) It also have a great tactical gear gadgets, because it was the Israeli police swat unit (YAMAM) gun. And those guys take care of theirs guns Holsters and bags that are very cheap to buy in Israel because the YAMAM swift to glocks

I currently have the HK and I used to have the P320. Both a great guns. I traded in the 320 for a POF AR pistol, because they gave me a great trade-in value. Now I think I want the VP9 Match. ;-)

the "rainbowing" on the trigger is Stock as said below its a characteristic of heat treatment, I have one as well, interestingly mine Faintly says "Seatle Police Department" in a arch that goes under the left hand handle, did not notice until I took off the Butt plates, Kinda assume it was a department range gun it being 32 instead of 38spl but don't know,

Id eave the magwell off and use the short flushfitt mag for concealment when carrying then use the magextension eith tge 15 rouds that turn it into a full size grip that makes it look very comfortable to use that what id do bec it does look so much better with them extensions turning into a full size grip

Falco/Craft makes good holsters for it.

When loaded with 15 rounds the magazine won’t even seat unless the slide is locked back.

My experience with accuracy is opposite yours. My compact shoots like a laser, the full size a shotgun. Tempted to buy an SD but can’t justify it.

are the cartridge pullers (extractors) exactly the same of both guns? (these of my Jericho 941 is broken and can't find a new one...........Maybe are the parts of CZ better to buy here in Europe than Israeli parts)

How r the triggers between the two

Bought a HK P30 last week from my gun guy store and it came in. Well? I went to finish all paperwork and 10 business day back ground but? Opened it up, HK sent the wrong model. We ordered the P30 with decocker & safety but this one didn’t have the safety. Gun guy looked and they messed up. So now waiting a few more days. Felt great the one they sent but good patience will cook by and redo

I’ve had both. There is just a difference in quality. Not that the CZ is crap because it’s not. But if you handle both of them , take them apart, it’s easy to see which gun cost more. Even the difference in the polymer is noticeable. If you do some searching around (internet/RUclips) you will see some reports of springs, trigger springs failing on the P09

Had mine replaced this morning. 2023 Limited.

I paid $750 about 4 years ago for a new P30L, holster, 3 mags, and 100 rounds to plink with. Kinda hard to pass up a deal like that during the pandemic. The ergonomics are great, even if the trigger has a bit of a long pull. It shoots softly, and is easy to hold on target. No regrets on my end.

Sig ammo sucks big time. My G20 jams with Sig ammo. Nothing else.

Good choice. Add a CZ P-01 to the other side of the hip and you are set for life. Two of the most reliable 9mm pistols at a cost of approx. $600-650 each.

HK is the cream of the crop!!! Likely HK builds the best polymer handguns ...and i have them all to compare from S&W.....Glock. Sig...etc..Springfield XD builds a good polymer too
