Nice video you got here :) I have bought second hand P-09 recently and I want to ask, if barrel crown is a little bit shine after cleaning or not? Something like gloss grey or so. Mine isn't black as other parts of barrel so if I should worried about rust etc. (I really don't think so, feeding ramp is mirror like as well chamber but I just want to be sure). There were tons of hard carbon in barrel and after cleaning with solvents, brass brush etc. I've used polishing paste for last remnants. I can't imagine how I could damage the nitriding with a fine paste on a soft cloth brush so anticorrosion durability should be still same.

I have a question on your Toyota steps. I was going to purchase the same ones for my 2024 Tundra and the parts lady at the Toyota dealership said this We do not sell to many of this style because honestly, it's a horrible design. They sit really close to the cab and no room for your foot to step on. What’s your thought on this? Do they set too close to the cab and is there no room to put your foot to step on to get in and out of the truck?

Glad to see another enthusiast! Looks like we caught the M-Carbo bug about the same time? My serial number is very close to yours. I have the flip to side platform with a Romeo and the line of sight could still be a bit higher. It's a trade off I learned to live with with a folding rifle. I did put a Crimson Trace Rail Master on it for those bump in the night situations. Then a couple of quick connects for a light weight sling. So I now have north of $1,300 in a rifle you can buy off the shelf for $400 or so. No remorse! I love it. Good luck and thanks for the video.

the long rest can be fixed with a 80 dollar part which i did on my p2000 and a bigger mag release it fixed everthing i had a problem with the gun.

The Sig website as of July 2024 still says it's "Out of Stock". I wonder why?

I have substantial respect for both H&K any CZ autoloaders. Perhaps the finest semiautomatic I own is an H&H USP Tactical, chambered in .45 ACP. P07 has been on the want list for a SA/DA ccw for a couple years. Would grab one up tomorrow if CZ could update the p07/09’s - maybe factory optics cut? These old eyes made the switch to optics and Im not about to switch back. Flat trigger snob too.

The p2000 was also when the decocker moved to the back and the trigger/ hammer changed to what we see in the p series guns. Aside from liking the decocker on the back, the usp is still better imo

The CZ is very reliable and accurate.

Shooting my friends p07 made me fall in love with CZ. Ended up buying a p01 for myself. Shooting my friend's VP9 made me fall in love with HK. My first HK was a p30sk. The first of many. Need I say more 😉

Thanks for a great video. The Jericho 941F is a sleeper gun but more of a CZ variant than a clone. The safety can be engaged in both DA & SA, the firing pin block falls away with the trigger press allowing a smoother trigger and the firing pin is captured by an end plate instead of a roll pin. The accuracy and recoil impulse have been admired as comparable to more expensive guns. I replaced 3 springs for 8 pound DA trigger pull weight. This Jericho is robust and a great club when I run out of ammo!

I own both (P365XL and a Sig P239 9mm, which I acquired today). I've owned P239's in 40 and 9 mm. My P65XL has a lever safety and it's dependable. I think I'll carry this P239 more than the P365XL because it's not too big and not too small. I like having a handgun that's SA/DA. I don't worry about a handgun with a magazine capacity of 8 rounds or less. In the Marine Corps we were taught to make every shot count. I've been carrying 1911's for most of my life. 1911s are just too heavy for my almost 66 year old body. In my view a 1911 is a great "night stand gun". I lived in Arkansas for about 14 years (Maumelle, North Little Rock areas). Arkansas is a pretty place. But I was raised in Texas so it was only a matter of time before I returned...:)

Love the gun but I call BULLSHIT. 2.3 Lb Trigger? The factory setting is 7.5 to 8.5 Lb. You didn’t lock the pistol down while you pulled the trigger with the scale…

Sometimes, the problem is the builder, not the tools.

Not only is the one of the smallest 9X19s on the planet, it shoots incredibly straight for how small it is and how short the barrel is. When my wife wanted a 9mm carry (she was using a .22 before) we went and shot about a dozen of the best small micro 9s. We settled on the P938 for two reasons. 1) How well it shot tight groupings and 2) zero issues/jams. It just works. Small enough to put in plenty of places, she carries in her purse and it takes up very little space. Just a great gun all around.

Sig365 is not that revolutionary with 10+1. Kel Tec P11 did it in practically the same size as the Sig, way back in 1995.

You probably have the v2 lem in the p2k here those had a heavier trs which made that long take up heavier than v1 lem as found in the p30. My p30 is in lem, it's fantastic, I find myself shooting the v3 traditional da/sa more lately however, but that's not to say lem is bad by any means they each have their place. P2000 has probably been my favorite for over a year now since I've made it pretty much my "main squeeze" for edc. It really strikes the perfect size for me.

My Jericho shoots better than any handgun I've ever shot..and i have shot many. The FN 45 wasnt even close IMO.

Worth the subscribe-good vid on my favorite gun! Already have the 9mm full and compact, did the TJIAB on the compact and LOVE it. Considering sending in the slide for a cerakote and cut for optic.

I picked up a MK25 used but never fired, 10 years ago, defiantly my favorite. I instruct with and competed in IDPA with it. Lot of rounds through but never failed. And I am a lefty and have no problem with the decocker Thanks for the excellent video.
