The best gun event, Noddy After Dark (2024 Edition)
Noddy After Dark, is the premier night vision based event. It is open to the public, and includes Night vision, Thermal, Firearms, and Armor/Loadouts. I strongly urge you to attend this event if you are interested in night vision as it is the only event as far as I know that allows you to test various night vision items without having to buy them, or know someone who owns them.

In this video we review the Anderson Frontline series AR-15. This is a very affordable, budget friendly gun that is Anderson's new flagship model. It has additional features out of the box that most people are fond of. The Anderson Frontline holds up really well in a tough market. In this video we review the CZ P10C a striker fired gun that competes with the glock 19 sized guns. Coming in at a pretty affordable price on paper it seems like a good option, but the market is competitive, and I feel like in 2024 it gets surpassed by the Canik and IWI Masada offerings. What's in my bag for the wasteland? Tell me what I am missing!
Caracal seems unique to me that they have a brand new USA facility and make every part in house. Internal and external p 0:02 iston guns just like LMT. THANKS FOR THE EFFORT.
As someone who also owns all three i prefer the px4 then 92 then p30. I just find that the px4 ahoots the best for me. For the px4 try volker precision grips they only cover the sides and make a world of difference.
Why did you not put Caracal on this list? Go to war pedigree. Designer related to Sig and HK.
Who would waste their time on it now? Adam’s Arms was a decent piston gun and affordable and they went out of business. The market just isn’t there.
I’ve heard many, many gun tubers put BCM above Daniel defense because they are cheaper and perform just as well if not better than Daniel defense products.
@@ammbam check the new tier list
Geissele and FN and C level, LOL! Tell me you don't know AR builds without telling me you don't know AR builds.
Check the new list
Dude stop the video and blow your nose. There is such a thing as a pause button
You do realize 9mm is larger then 5.56, it's larger then 308, 338, 7.62, 7mm and so many others. Even 50 rounds of 9mm is expectable. Next you got 2 extra ones learn your lean and move on... 🤦♂️
You do realize that when I got my targets they weren’t listing which caliber it was based on. I think you should move on
😂 If you just randomly fast forward the two things you'll hear are... "Overpriced" and "I get it." Really dont think you get it, but thats cool. To each their own. I'll agree that some of the brands charging $1k+ for a match upper and lower is highway robbery. Most AR brands love to run on their names that once meant sonething. If you are spending more than $1500ish for a build, you are gaining very little. Unless you are going for something special and are competing.
All these dudes debating which rifles are the best is comical. Unless you have extensive testing performed with all these brands you can't rate them. Being in 3/75 we use MK18s and URGIs but I promise you some civilian would argue they suck compared to a rifle that's never been combat tested. Also what you have to understand about KAC and HK is yall are not getting their Grade A guns, yall are getting the blems from those companies which the rifles didn't pass QC.
@@1ice3690 from the military people I have talked to it seems to be the opposite, for the civilian side they have to worry more about qc and returns. Whereas in the military you make do with what you are given. Most people say the quality of the civilian side exceeds the issued ones. You aren’t buying the blems unless you knowingly buy the blems.
@randyreviewsit yea I agree with you on that, what I'm saying is KAC , LMT, HK doesn't care about civilians that's why they put out their blems to civilian market. The Mk18 I was issued in ranger battalion was beaten to shit but I didn't have a problem with it because it's a Daniel. Plus we don't care about our guns, all our focus is to get on x hit a house and get off x and go home in the morning after a raid we could care less what we are using to complete that objective but at the same time the equipment we are issued is top of the line especially our pvs 31s and NGALs. Regular infantry gets really crappy gear from what I've seen.
BCM indeed has mid gas systems and has for a long time now
Is it on their 11.5 though?
@randyreviewsit no
Yes, to protect u and others
Fair enough
I would say run piston if you want to run a suppressor a lot on a particular rifle. Helps keep the gas out of your facial bubble
Yeah but then I end up with solid black hands. A tuned di gun I would take any day over a piston
@ true about the hands. I just remember shooting our DI suppressed stuff in the corps and I hated it
My sig spear out performs every gun on this list you put it in d because you can’t get parts? I get all my parts just fine. None of these guns even come close I’m sorry to say. The only negative is the price… I’ve spent like 5 k on this thing so far
@@MrLopaar it doesn’t though
@ it does.. ambidextrous controls, foldable stock, short stroke piston, switch for suppressed/unsupressed, and a tapered muzzle that helps prevent carbon buildup.
The huge negative is the price tho and I can understand that.. I would have never bought it if I knew how much I was gonna eventually end up putting on it.. I spent 1400 on just a 7.62 barrel and bolt and while I would love the matching sig suppressor, it’s like 1600 bucks
@@bkhix208 that’s a dumb comment… and DD is mid
I can’t take you serious if u put an iwi or lwrc. There is zero scenarios where that is a better ar15. For an extra 300 you get a gun that is leagues ahead of the Zion. I like the Zion. Don’t get me wrong. Best sub 1k ar. But better than lwrc…..come on dude.
The lwrc is in a different price bracket and the bracket it is in is way more competitive. The lwrc is absolutely better than the Zion, but you can’t get an lwrc for $1k
@ very true. But I think it’s misleading to put it ranked higher, but it’s your list and thanks for taking the time to put it out there. I agreed with so much of what u said. Keep up the good work. Have a blessed day.
@ I put the ranking scoring and reasoning 2 times in the first 5 mins…
I picked up a Colt 6700A4 and it’s pretty impressive but there’s a lot of slop between the upper and lower. I’d still put Colt in the B tier. C seems a little disrespectful bro! My buddies have black rain and radian arms and theirs work pretty good. But my Colt is way more nifty
Geissele uses some of the best components and materials on the market right now and their Super Duty Mod1 is under 2k…..although barely? How the hell he put it at C is beyond me. Nevermind, now that I see he has blackout as a s tier, they are D at best. CMMG is B tier…… can I block channels on RUclips damn ☠️
Check the new tier list bud.
@ new one is 🤌🏼 agree with the majority of it and what you said
Woooooo
I have a sugar Wiesel and yes my 1 gas block screw fell out. Q did take care of it and sent me screws 2 day air. Other than that the gun shoots amazing. Been running it in 2 gun Comps for the last year. Picked up a super 11.5 super duty up on the Black Friday sale. Super pumped on that.
Yeah I was hearing a lot about the screws coming loose glad it’s running well though!
If you can, check out Hera Arms and rate them. Also, Grand Power...
I know I hate Hera arms furniture lol
I strongly disagree with you about the trigger on the sk. It took me all of 50 rounds to learn it. I shoot the sk just as well as the p30l. And i find the recoil on the sk to be preferable to that of the standard p30. That being said, my groups at 10 yards are a little better with the p30l, but not by much.
I think the p30 is my favorite balance of things, it’s all personal preference I am sure
Where can you find a ADM for $1700? Lowest price I found was $2400. It shoots better than any AR except Blackout defense
I saw it in an email a while back for a sale.
Good tier list. Much more refined and reasonable than last year’s list. There are so many companies making AR right now that even this extensive list is still missing a couple of companies. What a time to be an AR enthusiast! I guess I am sucker for just brought a blem barreled upper from Aero. But the price is so good I just wanted to try it out. Thank you for the video.
Yeah there are a lot more to add for sure, and glad you appreciate the changes from last year. It’s a good time for ar people
@@randyreviewsit curious to how Anderson went from bottom of the barrel to top of the C class?
@ because the frontline series is legit, and a solid contender for the under $1000 bracket
Nice job! Have you ever heard of SLR Rifleworks? Grabbed an upper and handguard from them. Im empressed. You earned a subscription from me today. Keep up the good work!
Yeah slr does good stuff, I got a handguard from them a while back for an AK
Cut the BS dude!! 👑 LWRC if you want the BEST of the BEST. Diamondback firearms if you want an absolute SOLID AR.
Always been a fan of your content. Thank you but, I have no idea what you are referring to regarding Black Friday and jumping the line. Could you please explain it to me so I can look into it? I’ll share what I know here.
Yeah no worries, so I saw on the Black Friday sale that buying a gun during the deal offered a “priority que”
@ That is absolutely not true. We are first come, first served. The “priority” notification was for people who purchased our products prior Black Friday, as it should be. We take our customers’ patience serious and have not offered priority to anyone for money.
The email that went out on 11/8 had this statement “Get in early and enjoy a shortened lead time of 4-6 months.” Which made it sound like if I ordered right before the sale that I was on the old lead time of 12 months. Maybe, I misinterpreted that but just to clarify, what would my lead time be on 10/30 vs the 11/8 promo?
@@randyreviewsit Our lead time has never been 12 months. It was 6-8 months for this entire year through mid September and then dropped to 4-6 months. The point of that email was to give people a heads up that our lead times increase during Black Friday because of the influx of orders. Our Black Friday sale didn’t start until 11/11. If you ordered on 10/30 your lead time was 4-6 months from your order date. If you ordered on 11/8 it was the same. The lead time increased on 11/11 when the sale started. We build based on order date only, not payment method or anything else.
@ roger that, will pin the comment for further clarification.
Great video. Definitely want to try Griffin and Sionics. Any recommendations on a .308?
I am a little out of that loop but I think solgw makes a large frame ar now
Db10 probably best for the money if you dont want to spenta fortune
Wait i just ordered a blackout defense and i wasnt given the option to jump the que how was that offered ?
I think if you ordered for their Black Friday deal you got it
@ i definitely ordered the blackout defense friday deal because that 500 off was to good to pass up but i called and they informed me it was an 8 month window , They said they had like 600 rifles in que !!
Finally! Good to see someone using an atheist forefather like Ben Franklin to tell the truth!
Well that settles it. Time for a V7 build. 😂
Yeah I am going to build a lower from them for sure this year and maybe an upper or two
C does

I could not agree with you more about colion. He is probably the least honest gun tuber, just a salesman and nothing more
Im gonna be pretty upset if i dont see fcd, and centurion on this list, but honestly the less people that know about centurion the better for me at the moment while im saving Also, f1 is no more, they are called watchtower something now. You need to take a closer look at aero's pro line.
I like fcd and centurion so far not sure why I forgot centurion
@randyreviewsit You make a video explaining their chrome sandcutter bcg and e4 tapered barrel extensions.
Your take on the spikes tactical guys is what made me a devout viewer. Thank you for your content😂
Any particular reason why you are preferring DI over Piston Ar’s these days? What’s your take on suppression builds with DI and Pistons?
The suppression is actually what made me lean more. I think as long as the barrel is 11.5 or more and decent you can tune di guns to run great. Where the gun is reliable, no gas in the face, and it shoots soft. So far with pistons I think they bleed too much off where I usually end up with carbon all over my hand, they weigh more, and the pistons are too proprietary. I also think di’s are only going to get better and better.
Anyone got any experience with rise armament rifles?
Nah have only heard of their triggers
damn, black rain didn't even make the list lol
@@Normlvenand I forgot them but they suck 😂
@@randyreviewsit lol i bought one two or three years ago and yeah i agree
@Normlvenand yeah they used to have a following
Can't help but notice V Seven made your top tier again. I could not agree more. Yes, pricing is up there, but once you take a look at the whole picture they are a value compared to other platforms in their price range. Obviously the build quality is off the charts. the hand fitment, lifetime warranty stainless barrels, the finest lightweight (but robust) alloys in the industry and lastly the best customer service I have come across in the firearms world. The process feels like you are ordering a bespoke suit from high end tailor.
Yeah I will say it forever v seven is my favorite by far
Hows the recoil impulse with it being so light?@randyreviewsit
@@kevinheine1428 Hi. Our V-Seven's were ordered with their Helios linear comps (blast diffusers). We have a BCM 14.5' 556 with a Surefire Warcomp on the front end. The BCM shoots a bit flatter. But how much is the Warcomp vs Helios and how much is the lightness of the V Seven front end? So not quite apples to apples. Let's put it this way, we are selling the BCM for another V Seven upper (that they are happily fitting to one of their lowers from a past project) . That is the level of their customer service. My wife is 130 pounds and she shoots a 14.5" V Seven 300 fine. I've found that the substantial weight savings lets me think less about a few ounces here and there on LPVO's, MPVO's, lights, etc.. If you want an LPVO and/or mount that is better quality or better value than another (but weighs 6 oz's more), who cares. You will still be rocking a stellar lightweight platform.
@J.D.Grenadier glad to hear it.
As usual, Griffin Armament and Wolfpack Armory are going completely HAM when it comes to value for money. Great Tier list Homie, See you on the next video!
Griffin does go pretty hard, I have a blem mk2 lower that is for a brn 180 300 blackout with a jmac folding brace and a md25 acss with a reptilia mount.
The owner of Wolfpack Armory is a douche bag, so there's that
Been waiting on this one since the last one 💪🏼 and yes to Sionics! The guy who was their head armorer the late Will Larson, apprenticed Mike, the owner of Sons of liberty, so same philosophy and QC, with Sionics edging it out with their pricing and the fact that they X-ray their barrels. Their NP3 coated BCG’s and buffer assembly are top tier too.
Yeah been watching them a bit, love what they offer.
Been waiting for this.
Thanks man!!!
lol the universe is weird. i‘m relatively new to the topic and have watched your first tier list video, then the one from focus tripp and here it comes your 2nd one, like ordered ^^ it‘s a shame that we dont a get a lot of intersting brands here in europe, let alone the waiting time for something like a bcm recce (10 months, and 2900 euros btw… plus the european AR brands have gone mad price wise too. every other gun smith brings out a C tier AR and wants 3K EUR for it and brands like HK and Haenel charge up because contracts. Kind of like over there in the US ;p I think I‘ll go for something like an Anderson and will slap a DD BCG in it and will also upgrade the hanguard (Aero Atlas), the stock, pistol grip, trigger, front grip and an ambi safety - this rifle will cost me 2300 EUR (…just for the comparison between all mentioned above…) gonna leave a sub here.
@@lolbruah yeah I have no idea what the Europe market gets and doesn’t. Sometimes I see the new Europe stuff that tfb shows and it looks cool but is a lot longer to get here. Would love to see a Europe based one and prices
@ I think there are 1-3 importers for most of the us brands (at least here in Austria). Brownells is one of them, but even with them it‘s „take whats in the warehouse - wanna pre-order? 8-10 months“ ;) Good thing that I‘ve got an AUG and several other guns to shoot until my AR plan finalizes ;)
Like i said in the chat , waited 10 months for a Blackout Defence, and not impressed so far, hope its the shooter, but my Tippman , H&R XM177E2, and my Springfield Armory m1 Tanker, able to put on paper with irons at 50 and 100 yards, and havent been able to get Blackout defence to hit anything, irons, red dot or scopes . Like I said I hope its the shooter,
Wow that is rough to here, yeah I if you have any bad groupings or anything I would hit them up because mine is very accurate and I love it, just not a fan of the weight
Looking forward to watching this later after I lose money betting on football.. lol. Maybe I win but this video is a win either way.
Sorry couldn't see vktr didn't have my glasses on
Where would you put JP, also a new comer is vktr industries won ar of year
I mean the vktr has some interesting stuff but I can even get one at a discount and haven’t yet. I am curious to see what they do with a di gun down the road because their di bcg looks good
Check out JP Rifles very $$ but top notch i saved and now have 2 Jp5 is best pcc i ever shot . 2 but a ar with there parts to save as much as possible The gun is fantastic only grip is a little heavy
Loved last years video, sure I will love this years too. If you could list the brands by name and not just logo, as some are ledgible but some are not. Keep up the great content.
