Does the compensator work on the original px4? Can an original px4 be upgraded to this version? Also .45 with threaded barrel. Why didnt the .40 and 9 mm get this?
You guys really should consider laser engraving the frame to add texture, that's the biggest negative (of which there are very few) to the PX4. People pick them up and immediately notice how slick they are.
I just bought one of their PX4 Compacts and like the stock one the sole gripe that I have is that the grip texture is pretty slick. I tend to favor the moderate to aggressive texturing.
Remember Langdon is a " Middle man" they want to do as little actual work on the gun as possible to make money, they primarily like to Drop parts in and sell it, you are absolutely right about laser work being needed.
Man, that trigger... The original metal ones that were 3rd party back in the day had a ton of breakages. I will be buying the trigger shoe as soon as Grey Guns releases them.
@@LangdonTactical I know the comp is effective, but what are your thoughts on a slot machine out of each side of the slide and V6 style ports underneath on the barrel?
I don't know when since there's a lot on my "to get" list, but I will get one of these one day. Mark my words. The PX4 platform is one of the most comfortable, under the radar, great performance shooting pistols out there made better by this company. It's an EASY win.
Do I need it? No, especially since I just got the LTT PX4 compact carry with NP3 and RDO. But do I want one, absolutely! That bull-like barrel alone looks awesome.
Px4 compact carry is my favorite conceal carry.only dislike was the hooked trigger The trigger upgrade will be great planning on getting one as soon as available. Thinking about the comp.
I've been upgrading all of my 92's with LTT trigger jobs and consider it an essential upgrade. My only experience with the PX4 is the 45 ACP version and I wasn't that impressed with it, but my handgun skills were still mediocre at the time. This might be worth checking out.
You guys should send out the comp/light combos to a few of the largest kydex holster manufacturers. One of the biggest struggles I’ve had when looking for a PX4 holster is availability from some of the larger manufacturers that I usually purchase from. I know that some of them won’t make holsters with that option because the customer base isn’t large enough but I think it is a really great option.
Looks awesome! I added your trigger job in a bag, low pro decocker and sights to mine and love it. Will the flat trigger, comp and magwell fit original PX4s?
Ernest did one of his "orange front sight" mods to my own LTT Beretta 92, which started out as a plain Jane Beretta 92FS. He was very apologetic that the fact the FS front sight is a part of the slide bridge therefore non-replaceable meant he wouldn't be able to give me a fiber optic or tritium front sight insert, he could "only" do an orange dot. He had NOTHING to apologize for. The LTT orange front dot sight mod is not as simple as dabbing some orange paint into the front dot hole. It's a fairly time-consuming process of alternating orange, white, orange, white, etc., allowing the paint to dry in-between applications, until finally the orange dot seems to glow. Every single person I have let handle and/or fire my LTT custom Beretta 92 has commented on how insanely visible is that orange dot. I don't feel like I'm giving away anything having an LTT orange front sight mod versus an FO insert.
looks like the light mount compensator is from Vantage point armory, i see on LTT that they have one for tlr7 sub 1913 for the px4 compact but it does not look like it is released yet.
Seriously, if you get a chance to handle and shoot the LTT PX-4 Compact Carry you will immediately make it your daily carry. Other than it's width, this firearm is perfection!
Had my hopes up for a _schalldämpfer_ model (that's German for "sound suppressor", as in the "SD" in "MP5SD".) I'm not a competition shooter but I do appreciate this new barrel profile will be a significant benefit for many shooters and make the PX4 even more attractive in competition. And I always love a good decocker and the G models. The new variant is cool.
Since Beretta won't make the suppressor mount, will you? I'm sure they'd work with you too get you the right drawings. The one thing stopping many people from buying a px4 is that there's no option to mount a can.
Placed my order for the compact vantage comp today stoked to get it. Will the heavy barrel be available to purchase separately for the compact or full size.
WOW can't believe you've done it again. ( If I was able to have handguns here in the communist UK ) my favourite plastic handgun is the PX 4 and you've just made it look and probably function like a beast. I hope it's a massive seller for you. You now make my two fav handguns of all time even better👍
Have you guys thought about working your magic on a Cx4 Storm carbine? It would be the perfect companion to your Px4 offerings, given the common magazine.
Mr. Langdon, Could Beretta ever be persuaded to prototype an elite super duty, by boring a 45 calibre barrel for 9mm? Perhaps the smoothest shooting 9mm (without a compensator). Perfect for granny’s older sister.😅
The compensator and magwell are very cool, just not $500+ cool! Please make a rail mounted compensator without a mandatory $300 light please. Guess I have to wait for the chinesium version.
Let me know what you end up going with - I'm in the same boat. I'm likely going to go Full Size, less recoil + more capacity at nearly the same footprint (I don't use an optic, so it's really just a CC with optic). My only concern is if I add the compensator, would I wish I had the CC? I almost feel like the Full Size GSD probably shoots just like a CC2 w/ Comp.
@@volbrenYT yeah I can’t choose. I want a 92 and the px4, but I feel like a compact 92 can kinda flex into multiple roles. I also know that I want everything that comes with the px4, but then it’s as much as a 92 LTT and it’s the same size.
@@stealthswim223I think I'm going to just go with the Full Size G S-D. After looking at it for a while, it's same slide width, grip thickness and only slightly taller but significantly less recoil due to a heavier and longer barrel (4", which is normal Compact length).

Question from someone who has never been able to get my hands on a PX4 (been out of the game for a while). Due to physical disability I’m pretty much relegated to a revolver bc I have a hard time racking the slide of most semiauto’s. So my question is does this slide (or any other slide) action rack like butter? I’ve been all over town but can’t find a Px4 to try anywhere. Looks like the gen 2 gsd slides easy but not sure about that size for concealed carry. Thank you for any input. I appreciate it. Exceptional looking gun.
That is to Beretta, and we cannot help them with that. But, the PX4s can all be converted to G, and there are several upgrade G levers that are available for purchase from us and Beretta.
@LangdonTactical .40>9mm conversion a thing? Seeit kicked around, but don't see any1 specifically mentioning a 9mm barrel w/correct OD to run in'a .40 slide. (Assumin that n mags, is all it'd take? Still want 1 in .45 tho!
Softer shooting than the storm? Thing is soft shooting as is, making it even softer brings up some concerns. My px4 pretty much eats almost everything I feed it. I wonder if a hb would change that.
Long live the PX4
