I have a PX4 storm full size in 9mm , I Have been carrying for 4+ years and I have Way over 2000+ rounds through mine and ZERO Malfunctions !!, I love it !! , and it is "The Gun" for me !!
“My only complaint about this gun is that you go through rounds too quickly.” = glowing review. It’s a blast to shoot and, yes, it is amazingly accurate for its size. And FAST!!! LTT versions make it all even better. Great guns. Love mine and wouldn’t go anywhere without them.
Amazing tools as built, but with the LTT upgrades...simply wow. I keep hoping Beretta will wake up and bring us a refresh on the styling...the ergos are solid, but it can be improved.
Great knowledgeable video on the Beretta PX4 pistols. I purchased a used Beretta PX4 Compact Carry a few years ago in excellent condition. It came with 8 magazines, two holsters. Purchase the LTT trigger bar, trigger job system, had the barrel crown by LTT. Installed the spurless hammer and recently installed the new Gray Gun Flat Trigger, great improvement to my PX4. Also, installed a DPM recoil guide rod system.
@@TheArkansasGunGuy Love the feel of this Gray Gun trigger better than the factory curve plastic trigger. My trigger finger feels more stable on its flat surface. Hopefully you should give it a try, when they are back in stock at Langdon Tactical.
I have had a 92FS for over 30 yrs and a PX4 Compact for about 8 years. I go monthly to the range and shoot both the same amount when there. I have steel sights (adjustable) on the Storm and recently added a Holosun Green Dot to the 92FS. I consistently and noticeable shoot better with the Storm… tighter groups. I have rather large hands and I would have thought that I would be better with the 92FS but not the case. The 92 is my stay-at-home pistol as my wife likes it better than the Storm and I stopped carrying it once I got the Storm of which now is my regular carry pistol. I am very pleased with the Storm without having done any mods to it other than the adjustable sight.
I definitely love my PX 4 Storm, I have the full size 40 , it’s been my EDC the last 2 months, I’ve always carried a Glock and wanted to try something new…. Can’t believe I slept on such a excellent gun for all these years
Loved the full size so much, I carry the compact now everywhere. With most other pistols I'd have 1-2 flyers out of each mag unless I practice. With no practice I have zero flyers with my PX4's.
I LOVE the PX4, but I was able to shoot a Shadow2 last year (still don't own one) and it was crazy sick good. Both excellent triggers. I like the metal frame and weight of the CZ. THANK YOU for watching
Still love mine. All either worked by LTT or with LTT parts. Only replacement part that I may need is my guiderod spring on my FS which started its life as a rental..lol Never a jam. They just run. I'd love to see an alloy framed PX4 one day. And no, it wouldn't be a Cougar. The PX4s are a much better evolution.
@@richdubbya The stock Cougar has a better trigger, and shorter reset than the stock PX4 trigger. Now the LTT trigger and reset is of course better. Also, the Couger commands double the price of a stock PX4 on Gunbroker. Don't you think there is a reason for that?
@@gracedagostino5231 My experience with the 8000 Cougar has been different. DA/SA seemed very Gov't M9 to me, but with a longer reset. And I wanted to buy this pistol with a passion. It's what disappointed me about it. Then the price when the guy wanted $850 without even batting an eye. But I did like the weight. I think the Cougar demands a premium due to collectability. About it. I like them, but think they did a better job with the PX4.
@@richdubbya Yes I agree with you the PX4 is a great gun, and better than my Glocks. When I compare my USA 92FS, to my Italy Cougar, I think the trigger is smother, more refined, and overall superior on the Cougar. Also the Cougar feels better in my hand than the M9, but I still love all of them.
Thanks for a great video! Subscribed I am looking to order one of each but as a lefty curious if you have any weird hot spots or challenges with the slide release and mag release? I handled an any older version of the compact carry at my LGS and I had no issue with mag release on left with my index finger but wish it had right slide release. Guess I with just need to rack it as usual. The grip ergo was fantastic for my XXL wide mitts, might need to add the mag well to catch my pinky and help with grip lock in. Best
Weird story, I bought the compact carry 2, and being a lefty, contacted Beretta about a right side slide release. They told me it was not possible, as it required machining of the slide and frame. I knew this was wrong since the pistol has a hole on the right with a plastic plug. I wrote to Langdon Tactical, who replied with where to order the BERETTA part, and sent a video on how to install it. It is perfect for a lefty now, and is my every day carry...
For my next gun I'm considering a PX4 Storm or a Baby Eagle 3, I know for my research that the eagle has a metal trigger so how does the plastic trigger feel on the Beretta? Or did you upgrade your triggers to metal?
Plastic trigger is free I think. Feels right for that gun. I just checked Langdon’s latest upgrade though and it is a Grey Guns flat metal trigger - so looks like could go either way. I’ve never shot a Baby Eagle - heck - never even saw one - but in general I love that platform I’ve shot in other guns (Bul, IWI, CZ) - sounds like you’ve got toe fantastic choices there!! Anxious to hear what you go with!
Absolutely not judging you on running your PX4's wet; my PX4 Compact Carry actually prefers it. Mine is stock with the LTT trigger bar upgrade (as you say, highly recommended) & it's my favorite pistol, but clean & wet is when she performs best. (Honestly...no puns or innuendo's intended)
Really just the length when sitting. Can’t do the full size when I’m driving much where as the CC I can. The grip on the full size probably prints a bit more but I wear loose baggy tees so don’t worry too much about it. THANK LOU FOR WATCHING!!
i honestly can't tell the differnce in performance from mine with and without it for the internals and they way it fires/recoils/etc. But the mags are definitely smoother. Nothing wrong w/ original mags but the NP3's are even smoother on reloads! THANKS FOR WATCHING!!
Just die to the length the compact is easier to carry. They are both chunky (wide) for conceal carry. The full size is smaller than most guns considered full size also
The compacts can accept a right side slide release, Langdon includes a plug. I’m a lefty myself and I prefer it plugged, and the full-size on the left side that I operate with my index finger
What a nice way to tell the unpleasant truth, I could not have said it better myself. Beretta's nice-looking firearms are called shotguns, it's going to be a hard pass for sure on the rest of Berettas wares.

I love how it looks and feels. I hope to get one someday soon.
Ordered the new full size LTT PX4 acouple weeks ago. I can’t wait to finally get it in hand
