    Just found your video i been searching for a bolt on comp for my springfield xdm elite 10mm. I usually run oolights under my barrels but the one u have on this is in a set location but the one i like the best for pistols has that ability to slide back against your trigger gaurd after u connect it to the rail before u lock it it rides on a slide that goes a half inch foward and backwards. I think its the oolight Knight but i gonna have to take a look to know for sure. Are these caliber specific like when ordering u pick from a list or are they all reamed out to a 45 hole? Been looking for one specifically for my springfield and could never find one cause i kept forgetting the most important word universal. Have u messed around with the size of your gas release point on your comp like if u made one with a oversized hole for the gas to travel upward out the barrel from would it change anything or is it like a plateau once gas gets going upward the hole size doesnt change how much recoil is suppressed or does a smaller opening actually make it hold the nose down better cause of higher pressure or something. Figure u prob tried 20 different hole sizes before u came up with the final product was just interested to know what u discovered cause it seems pretty interesting to me so thought id ask.

      Thanks for reaching out! We appreciate your interest in our products. Our compensators are indeed caliber and gun-specific, designed to provide optimal performance for each setup. And yes, we tested the size of the hole for the gas to travel and optimized it based on our testing. The size of the gas port plays a crucial role, and after extensive testing, we found the perfect balance to effectively reduce recoil and muzzle rise.
      While we don't currently make a compensator for the Springfield XDM, we appreciate your feedback and will pass it along to our design team. If you have any more questions or suggestions, feel free to share!

    The surefire X300 cost $300+, the comp is $150. Boss, please design a standard picatinny rail size to picatinny for universal use. I'm a no-go on the X300. Love where you're going with this, adaptable is the future.

      We appreciate that! Options are never a bad thing and there are preferences for everything gun-related. In this case light-mounted comps are preferred for some while non light-bearing comps are great for others. A lot of people already own the X300 and the TLR-7 Sub, so the comp was an easy add-on. There is a lot of time, money and effort going into the development of each model before release and there will be additional non light-bearing models coming down the road.

    • @VantagePointArmory
      @VantagePointArmory  9 месяцев назад +5

      We tested it in a couple brands including JM Custom and it was so close! A little heat was required to make it fit securely. We are in the early stages of developing holsters built specifically to accommodate our gun/comp configurations. Those will be available at vparmory.com!

    Do you think you guys would ever add length and make it a dual port?

    • @VantagePointArmory
      @VantagePointArmory  10 месяцев назад +2

      It is a possibility and has been discussed! The single port makes the G19 as long as the G17, so holster fit isn't an issue with standard light bearing holsters. Making it longer would require custom holsters, but that is a possibility as well!

    Just as I was thinking about this design for Glock compensator they actually already made one 😅, only two possible drawbacks for this design is how effective is it and does it cause warping to the frame after extended usage

    • @VantagePointArmory
      @VantagePointArmory  10 месяцев назад

      It is effective, feedback from all of our testers has been positive. Frame damage isn't a concern as the comp only adds .9 ounces and the rails are exactly like the X300. As long as a pistol rail would last with an X300 attached is how long it would last with the comp/light combo attached.
