  • I have some good news to share about my health progress. My A1C level has decreased to 5.3, which is well within the normal range. This improvement is reflected in my fasting glucose average, which was 96 in April. I am still taking Metformin and Ozempic, so it's not solely the result of diet adjustments, but it appears that I am no longer experiencing glucose spikes, even when testing half an hour after meals, where my blood sugar often registers under 100.
Additionally, my cancer has not returned, though there is a small cyst on my kidney that requires monitoring. In terms of weight management, I've reached 280.8 pounds as of April 30th. My weight loss has slowed slightly in April, likely because I have not consistently met my goal of 1,000 active calories per day. I've maintained my commitment to walking 10,000 steps a day, with only a few exceptions on days when I wasn't feeling well. However, I've been experiencing some back and neck pain, which has slightly reduced my activity levels. Overall, I'm feeling very positive about my current health status.

Great job! Yay for no cancer!
Does Verta offer CGMs? You could monitor without finger pricks.

Unfortunately no, they don’t. Thanks for the encouragement.
