I work for Sysco foods and man some spots you gotta get into definitely get your hands sweaty and heart racing 🤣 but I LOVE IT! 4 stops a week for me are pallet drops and OMG I wish all my stops were. I gotta break pallets right down and deliver on hand carts. But I love it! Drive safe brother I’ll be watching your videos. Don’t worry when you mess up a back we all do that. What you said is true some days were pros and other days were not 🤣

I used to work for Pepsi in a pretty busy city and had to help a truck driver here and there, that was tough work they had like 10 deliveries and most of them were mini marts, they also had to merchandise it, you got it easy lol awesome vid none the less keep up the hard work ✊🏻
A tip: get your favorite pop and a bottle of water drink the water until not thirsty then take a swallow of your pop that way your not thirsty and you still have the pop taste in your mouth. I went from drinking 4. Or 5 bottles of pop a day to less than one.
You got that right, mtn is the best. Code red is amazing taste. I work for Pepsi not as a driver, but me and my brother painted them, we started with the specialty trailers, took all the stuff out of them and welded all new metal frames and put new top on the beach, new lights in and tail lights, and paint the white, then we we had the Pepsi logol tape it up and sprayed the logol on it. After all those were done then we did the vans, box trucks, then the l9000 tractor rigs. Then they sold all of those and bought new international rigs and that is where we didn't get any more work, but they still drop off skids of mtn dew and that's how I got hooked on them. That was the hub in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Like to see more videos of you working the lift gate with products on it.
Speaking of frogs... I had a pickup at Iron Works in Marquet, Manitoba a couple months ago. 2 skids, 1 wood and 1 steel cage and 2600lbs. and a little green frog jumped out of the steel cage when I was moving it forward on the truck. Took me a couple minutes to find him and usher him off the back of the truck. Just funny how that popped back into my head when you mentioned that frog....lol Great video!
I did not expect to stumble on this on YT. I'm actually a salesman for a different vendor for that same area. I used to work for Buffalo Rock a few years ago in the Bulk Department!
Nice video just subscribed I work at Fritolay I’m a seasoner but I start school next month to get my cdl hopefully I can drive for Fritolay or Pepsi or maybe Walmart
I always tried to organize each create type on different pallets as I emptied the truck to make it easier at end of day. Because we had to do it at end of shift anyway and I would strap the empty crate pallets to the truck so they wouldn't fall over as easy.
I honestly miss running local but I enjoyed the fast pace LTL. Although i kinda miss it, i wouldnt give up my big sleeper truck. I run retail for the largest grocery chain in Canada and run between Ontario and Quebec. The worst parts are the waiting at stores for other trucks (Pepsi, Coke, Labatts, etc.) and the 8 hour drive to the first store but the 8 drops doesnt bother me so much. Heavy major city traffic doesnt feel good either.
Pepsi I’m the house . 3 months driving for the company as CDL driver can’t complain. Did an easy 8 hours OT as merchandiser today. Quick and easy cash.
Food service and beverage hauling will make you a good driver. Very backing intensive and driving through all elements. I work for Coca Cola and we use anything from 36 to 53 for bulk routes

I am located in Alabama I drive for Buffalo Rock so it’s a little different for sure. Lol you’re not lying those credits look so good sometimes🤣. Dollar Generals and Walmarts are the hardest in my opinion.
your question is hard to answer, because geo is still a delivery driver... as far as pepsi goes the video you're watching is a bulk route... he just drops pallets at supermarkets. I'm pretty sure geo is considered small format delivery like gas stations restaurants, retail stores etc where you have to merchandise much of the product
Yeah is there a difference between geo driver and delivery driver? I have an interview this coming Thursday at PepsiCo in Wichita ks for local geo driver
Pepsi Co is basically the same company that I work for. More than likely you will be delivering the product to gas stations and stores and putting it on shelves. Good luck and let me know how it goes!
Local deliveries make for great videos, that was relly cool when you pulled out of the dock and backed in again just for a better video. Why were you taking them them credit pallets of soda pop back fo the bottling plant? One coment said your cargo weight was over 40,000lbs, tractor must be tandem axle?
Absolutely todays video that’ll be posting later has more of the unloading. I’m working on getting a mount to help with that! Thanks for watching and I’m glad you enjoy the content!
I also noticed everything was on full pallets and I didn't see a sled on your truck either, do you guys not use half pallets? Delivering those full pallets to merch stops kind of sucks.
So I have the bulk route so they’re all on pallets. Our retail routes use sleds or skids it’s easier for them to merchandise in the stores and everything
@Cody’s Trucking Adventures yeah I ended up watching your previous video to this one and it answered my question in there that you were on a bulk route. Although long-hauling in the winters has its obstacles as well but at least I'm in a heated cab all day LOL. Do you guys have transport down there as well?
