    Tandems are difficult to slide if you're in a dock that has an incline. The pins will bind up against the sides of the pin holes. Pull yourself to level ground next time and see if that helps. Enjoying the vids. Your doing a great job for the amount of time you've been doing this.

    I was a merchandiser for 2 years or so and transitioned into driving for only about 7 months. It was the Dollar General, gas station accounts, so definitely more manual labor. It was a 4 day work-week, no major holidays, for the most part you work alone, good benefits and pretty decent/good pay. I agree with that it's a great company to work for. Somedays I think to myself that I wish I was still driving for Pepsi, but things change. By the way, just came across your channel and love the content. Keep it up!

    Dude lol at sysco we gotta break down every single pallet and load every single item on hand carts then wheel them into the stores and put them in separate places. Frozen in freezer cooler in fridge and dry with dry. Some times I open the trailer and pallets have fallen over completely with items everywhere. Your hard day in this video is probably my best day at sysco 😂 I love my job and make great money but damn man if that’s a hard day for you your job truly is amazing!! Those 16.9 pallets are the worst. I’ve had to rebuild one like this in the back of the trailer in the Florida summer for a Winn Dixie. The warehouse left a gap behind that pallet. Then I got to that Winn Dixie and was backing it onto the scissor lift and it fell again 😂. Should have used the belt on my jack but figured it couldn’t happen twice in a day 🤣.

      @SawIt0nReddit 3 месяца назад

      @@627cap I did. Turns out getting the license itself was the easy part. Being in the truck with the trainer for 5 weeks almost made me quit. Absolutely terrible experience. My training counselor was also terrible.
      $700/week minus taxes while in training. The pay is .50cpm. The "guaranteed pay" of $1k/week is rare because in order to qualify you have to be available (meaning your truck can't be broken down, home time, etc), can't turn down any loads and you have to be on time for pickup and delivery. The problem is Stevens will give you loads that are already late so you can't get the guaranteed pay if your miles don't hit 2k for that week.
      Other than that I have no problems. It seems like everyone at the company who is in a supporting role are extremely polite and friendly. The people you're most likely to have a problem with seem to be the people you will spend most of your time talking to (grad driver manager, training counselor, regular driver manager). But road rescue, safety, the people in the shop, etc are all very nice and helpful.
      Home time can be sketchy. I was supposed to go on home time to change my license back to my home state and instead they sent me on the opposite side of the country even though I had no hours to run the load and haven't run recaps since I've been solo. It's a personal preference, but I know they notice I just don't do it and always take my 34 hour breaks. They said to hell with that and now I'm still out here trying to make it back home.
      The equipment is newer and if for some reason something happens to your truck that will cause it to be out of commission for a few days they can give you a new truck. I got a 2024 Kenworth. Overall it's a decent enough company but once I get a year in I'm moving on. I'm just taking note of every company I see while I'm out here on the road.
      All in all it's a decent starter company and of course ymmv. But there are probably better companies out here. I'd suggest checking the r/trucker subreddit on Reddit to get some opinions.
