    After the deep relaxation, the quotes always bring me tears. I feel so good after I'm done with the session. I am 23 weeks today and your prenatal yoga videos have been giving me so much energy. I have started to feel more confident and less scared about an unmedicated vaginal birth (Im 22 and this is out first baby)

    I feel looser, and more mobile after doing these classes. I look forward to doing these streches everyday, and feel more prepared for each trimester, as my body continues to change.

    I’ve felt aweful all day. Sciatica acting up and pregnancy constipation and bloatedness. This video felt wonderful on my poor grumpy body. Thank you so much. It was just the bit of movement and peace that baby and I needed right now. ❤love and light

    Hey Jess! Can you provide some further info in regards to the external rotation for the pushing phase? I am just trying to better understand as this will be my first birth! Thank you so much!

    • @hllymchll
      @hllymchll Год назад +11

      when baby is at the outlet of your pelvis (10cm dilated, and your body feels the urge to push), doing knees in and ankles out actually opens the bottom of your pelvis which makes it easier to push the baby out.
      in early labor, knees out opens the top of the pelvis to get baby engaged (if they arent already) and wiggle them down further. this could look like hip circles on hands and knees (with ankles in), sitting on a birth ball and doing hip circles, etc.
      active labor, or when baby is already engaged and just needs to move further down, you should do asymmetrical movements to open the mid pelvis and shimmy them down even further. this would look like walking up and down stairs sideways, elevated lunges, sitting on a birth ball and rocking side to side, etc.

    I really enjoy your routines but I have to say that it's been difficult for me to get through because of the background music. My opinion, I prefer the silent or less volume of the background music. Thanks for your amazing work.
