I love how Scott's command to Logan is a sort of redemption of Logan's classic "I'm the best I am at what I do…" line. Like, no Logan, the thing you're best at isn't killing; it's healing. [tears]
I actually really loved that part. It's Scott being the leader of the team in a way that only he can... Recognizing Logan's value not only to the team, but to Jean in particular and, on some level, accepting that Jean does love Logan (but her heart belongs to Scott) and would be devastated by his death. All this despite the fact that they (Scott and Logan) have never really gotten along, but each of them have put aside their differences countless times, often for the team and perhaps more often, simply out of respect for Jean.

To add to that I love when Morph turns into Jean to tell Logan they love him, because Morph didn’t want to say it as Morph, plus saying it as Jean perked Logan up when he heard her voice. Now we got a feral Logan running around in either the future or ancient Egypt, my guess is the future because that’s where Jean and Scott are.

His name is Ray Chase. Been in a bunch of stuff. But you might know him from the Home Depot commercials.
I saw an interview with him and he talked about how he was before he got the character. He would just watch all the old X-Men and yell Jean at different levels and different emotional levels.
"What will you do child, slay me with the fourth of July?" that line was hilarious

Absolutely, Warren was already one of the four horseman, death, and broke free. He needs a new horseman and it's clear he is going to revive gambit to be death, and he is gonna be insanely powerful.
Also apocalypse showing up may also bring the fight between sabretooth and wolverine to get his adamantium back.

When Cable said he hated hearing stories about the X-Men because he felt he should've been a part of them... that actually made me feel for him. Like we knew Sinister did him dirty, but just for him to express it in that way really makes you think about what was done to him.

Apocalypse could re-animate all four of his horsemen from dead Genoshans - there have been so many over the years that could fit the bill.
I mean he’s holding a card so gambit for sure will be one of the horsemen.

I turned to my kid and said the same thing.
They're going to tackle Apocalypse's life story in the past, present, and future! And he's likely going to bring back Gambit as Death! 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
That was my thought too. He was death in the comics for a brief period, with Polaris, Sunfire and Gazer as the other horseman.
That was an incredible story. I cannot wait for them to adapt it

I loved the 90’s show when I was watching reruns of it in the 2000’s as a kid & this scene just gave me a nice closure since the original 90’s show just ended on a cliffhanger. Here’s hoping for a proper Spider-Man 98 show so we can see how Peter actually rescued Mary Jane from the alternate dimension.
The way this animated series “remake” of a classic is hitting every bar right now. The use of symphony, scripture, nostalgia, and story telling is simply masterful. Oh what a day what a day! Disney should be thanking their lucky damn mouse house they hired this team!
Lets just hope the activist branch of Disney doesn't come along and ruin X-Men 97 in season 2.

@gusvaughn7666 I don't disagree. But there are things in the episode I didn't understand fully so I come here. Didn't grow up with the comics. It's fun to learn about the niche things that are hinted at. But that was so glaringly obvious. I watched the episode with my friend and we both knew exactly what that meant and she doesn't even know anything about xmen. It's standard foreshadowing.

I didn’t think that Cyclops was referring to Jean Grey when he was talking to Wolverine. Jubilee was at his bedside commenting before Cyclops spoke, so that was for Jubilee. Remember, he has a special bond with her and she’s still a kid. Cyclops is looking out for the kid

I lost both my parents in the last couple years. Several scenes were tough in a way stuff like that rarely is.

The cameos were awesome!!! Such great themes in every episode. This season had a great balance of Nostalgia and Futurism.
It made it a literal, on the nose theme with the epilogue. And I loved it.

31:41 Kitty Pryde showing up is a WAY bigger deal than people are realizing. She’s pretty much the most popular mutant who wasn’t included in the original show because of the failed Pryde of the X-Men pilot. I cheered when I saw that she was canon to this continuity because she’s one of my favorite mutants and deserves to be part of this incredible show. She’s the only character on that wall who hasn’t shown up at all yet, so I am REALLY hoping that she joins in Season 2 🤞
I wonder what Kitty’s origin is here considering her role was given to Jubilee. Maybe in this continuity she joined back when it was the original group (Beast, Marvel Girl, Cyclops, Iceman, and Angel)
They had her in the blue outfit not her original. I would not mind if they had her join when Storm and Wolverine joined if they went that route.

The Australian Outback years was actually one of my absolute favorite runs of the XMen.
The only thing that bothered me was Magneto's helmet. It was crushed on Chawls head like an aluminum can at the cliffhanger of Part 2. Open Part 3 and he's already in Erik's head like that telepathic barrier never existed.
He didn't crush it on his head. He just forced it onto his head.
