I think there's a subtle commentary on the Avengers not showing up (again), although being shown. I think they could join the fight if Beau wanted to. It's commercial and sells. BUT............. I can only remember in the Civil War cb storyline when Stark tries to recruit the X-Men for his side and Emma Frost tells him to go f himself asking where were the Avengers when 10 million mutants were murdered on Genosha.
The interesting thing about the T'Chaka reveal is that a 1995 episode of Fantastic Four had T'Challa's Black Panther recruiting the FF to help avenge his father's death at the hands of Klaw so it's a bit of a discrepancy that I'm curious if it gets addressed.
This show is phenomenal. I put it over any TV project Marvel has put out in the last 5 years. As far as those complaining about it being woke, whatever that means, clearly aren’t real X-Men fans and know nothing about what their creation was meant to be
I’d want to see some German dialog with Magneto and Nightcrawler next season. Maybe Kurt would have better luck converting Magnus than Charles. Kurt has the that definite mutant look but still able to be good guy.
The bastion Form with the "wings" is from the comics from "Second Coming" 2010's X-Force #26 SPOILER Rogue is crazy powerful and bastion Kills Nightcrawler while he is teleporting.
I think the cameos were done perfectly. They were there to show street level heroes deal with the chaos that erupted on the streets, while the X Men deals with the big space threats.

Viewers who didn't watch the old show might miss the cool nod and significance of the Forge/Bishop scene, but a recurring theme was always this version of Bishop being sent back in time by an older Forge to change the past. This represents Forge's first meeting with Bishop, even though Bishop has known Forge in the future for years. This show rules.
Those cameos are awesome!! They did Jubilee, Cyclops and rogue justice in this series that they were disrespected in the movies... Considering Jubilee's fireworks are nuclear... Gambit as a horseman... We might see Onslaught in the upcoming season...maybe season 3 since apocalypse is the main villain in season 2...
Yeah they gotta add the whole teary eye effect in the X-men/avengers live action movies. So simple but adds so much more to the scene (love invincible but hopefully it takes some notes from this for the conquest fight)
Thinking back on the hype from before the season started, we had know idea that the show was going to be this good. We were just hoping for more of the same. The creativity, the adaptation from old and new comic storylines, from the 90's show, the voice acting, the dialogue and plot writing... This show is killing!
In the comic Onslaught took years to come from the point Charles shut down Magneto's mind. So I hope we don't get Onslaught until at the earliest season 3
Onslaught in comics happens much later although this moment was the retconned origin. Feral Wolverine doesn't happen from him losing his adamantium, it was the first failed attempt to put new adamantium in him. Onslaught will likely be a season 2 episode 6 reveal
Cable's time cube is housed in his techno arm and Bastion absorbed it. Bastion was able to use the time slide when he was fighting Rouge, it is the same power projection that shown when asteroid M vanished. Bastion sent the xmen to those time, he's not dead yet.
😂 great video great reaction. But I must say the best one that made me laugh was when they flashed on the screen Egypt 3000 BC and the both of you just jumped out of your chair screaming Apocalypse.!!!!!!😂😂😂😂😂
Girls and Germs, we're likely getting En Saba Nur, Kang, The 4 Horsemen with a resurrected Gambit, New Mutants/Generation X, Bone Claw Wolverine, and Age of Apocalypse in season 2. Can't wait!
Dust is from the Generation X comic series. She's friends with Jubilee (at least in the comics) and basically has the same powers as the Spiderman villain The Sandman.
I need Storm and Wolverine to end up in the Savage Land being full feral and killing dinosaurs and Ororo has to talk him down with the help of Kazar. It’s been suggested that Apocalypse finds Ororo, Wolverine and Morph, resurrects Gambit and we get our four horsemen.
This episode was actually overwhelming and like I was actually worried for quite a few minutes whether if all the characters will make it through alive or not. The superhero cameos, the emotions, the fight sequences, the background score was a complete rollercoaster ride, it gives me so much hope and happiness for the future seasons of this show, cannot wait for season 2, 3, and 4. (I hope they revive Spiderman 1998 series, loved his and Mary Jane's cameo.) The opening sequence was really nice, I initially thought we were watching a flashback or memory of Magneto with Professor X in the past as young scientists post-WWII, but then the reveal happens that they are both in Magneto's mind, as Professor X is trying to repair his fractured psyche. I am surprised they did not do the Onslaught route, where Magneto's resentment, anger, bitterness overpowers Professor X's abilities and their minds are merged as the new, unstoppable entity known as Onslaught. Cable's psionic moment with his parents was very touching. Cyclops cutting loose against Bastion and Jean as the Phoenix incinerating Bastion was such a high moment. Young En Sabah Nur is eventually destined to become Apocalypse, kind of like young Nathaniel Richards is eventually destined to become Kang the Conqueror. Gambit is going to become Apocalypse's Horseman of Death. Mother Askani who raises young Nathan/Cable in distant future is actually a much elder version of Rachel Summers, the daughter of Scott and Jean. Bishop's back in the present and the he references his friendship with the much older version of Forge in the distant future, it reminded me of the friendship with the Protagonist and Neil in the movie Tenet. All in all, 10/10.
One thing I adore about this show is dialog I'd never for nothing. Fir instance, in Roguex back story with Magneto she compared his pain was like that of Raging waters. In the last episode thats exactly what we see. I can't wait for season 2!
I don't hesitate to say this is the best marvel tv show season ever! live action or animated. I love loki season 2 but X-men 97 was damn near perfection!

I hope Marvel understands that those writers can make them Millions or maybe Billions if they use them for movies.
Wolverine AND Storm were nowhere to be seen after Asteroid M disappeared... curious.
So happy to get a little glimps of Alpha Flight
My only complaint was that there was no push back for the way Rogue acted, essentially killing someone. There should have been consequences for that…
And in Fatal Attraction Jean was holding Wolverine's body together while Charles held his mind together.
This might very well be the best animated series ever produced. Cannot wait for season 2.
5:28 I *love* seeing Daredevil use his billy clubs lol
This show was lit!!!
Every episode was solid. Thumbs up👍🏽 to everyone that made this show a success...
Cable's time cube is housed in his techno arm and Bastion absorbed it. Bastion was able to use the time slide when he was fighting Rouge, it is the same power projection that shown when asteroid M vanished. Bastion sent the xmen to those time, he's not dead yet.
“I killed Genosha in 4,621 seconds” Bastion is amazing
This Final was even better than I expected and the Marvel Cameos? Awesome!
And next season with Apocalypse and Time Travel? I am here for it!
The minute they said "Brightmorrow" I almost fell out of my chair! Rachel ♥
At first glance I thought hector is wearing superhero news tshirt.😂
We did see Doom talking to Bastion 2 episodes ago.
Can't wait!
I would LOVE for Gen X to get a nod. I miss those characters.
Dust is from the Generation X comic series. She's friends with Jubilee (at least in the comics) and basically has the same powers as the Spiderman villain The Sandman.
Umm, Dust is from years later, from the New X-Men rebrand. And the she's not friends with Jubilee in the regular timeline.
Read the Rise of Apocalypse, Blood of Apocalypse, Adventures of Cyclops and Pheonix, Onslaught arc and possible Age of Apocalypse comics.
6:57 8:48 I'm glad they didn't make the Phoenix Force a big focus of the show. I like getting to explore Jean's stories outside of that tbh.
I loved seeing all the cameos, this show was a 10/10! I’d be shocked if they include the Age of Apocalypse storyline next season
They're not as high up as you think. They're still in Earth's atmosphere, that's why they can breathe up there. It's not the vacuum of space.
I was waiting to watch the finale and all the feels of this with the FULL group 😅still marvel animation had us shook and craving mas🌶️🔥🌶️🔥
Charles Xavier should come in like Nick Fury, maybe with Jean and Scott as his current students, discovering new members of the team.
I don't hesitate to say this is the best marvel tv show season ever! live action or animated. I love loki season 2 but X-men 97 was damn near perfection!
Let’s gooooooo. This episode was wild. Can’t wait for season two.
This show was incredible. They beautifully payed omage to the past while continuing the story in a while new way. 10 out of 10. No notes. 😊❤
😊 35:00 hey Agustin. Wolverines picture is next to iceman.
I think the x men that don't have an x on their face are gonna be the team to get the other members back with forge and bishop
btw Mother Askani at the end was Gates McFadden :)
