The first 25 minutes was like a telenovela. The last 5 minutes became The Red Wedding.
That s exactly how I felt.
So on point smh
Totally unexpected too
Did anybody notice that Uuatu showed up when they were showing the sky. Him watching meant that something big was going to happen…
@@ugoeze7360uhh. Did you watch the video you’re commenting on?
Marvel should give the writers of X-Men 97 a huge raise and just let them write the secret wars....
They fired the guy that wrote this about a month ago....
@@davidjay7116 I dont care what he did, rehire him!😅
yep
@@Aesahaettrr he has a cameo in tjis episode it seems.
At the end when Nightcrawler and other almost got nuked by Sentinels it cuts to him and other people.
@@davidjay7116if what the media is saying is a reason for the firing, then I get it 😂. A company dedicated to kids and one of your employees might have an onlyfans . Where they might do some adult shit isn’t a good like, for sure. Dont want the parents knowing that., I get it. They’re being overly cautious which is good and bad. But if him being fired was about being difficult then I would like to know what was so difficult?
This episode made me cry real tears. I loved how rogue is touching him and says she can't feel him, meaning she always felt him without having to touch him 😢...
You light up everything you touch but never me. The writing is so good on this show. I wager that fool will break your heart in two, Gambit always know the odds is that it. Your heart may beat for me but I can't feel it. So much emotion in this scene it made me tear up and I'm someone who rarely cries for whatever reason.
I just turned 50... I was crying like a little child.
REST IN POWER Remy.
I'm 51.
I felt that.
This was the best thing Marvel has ever done. Ever. This episode deserves an Emmy.
ever? are you being hyperbolic?
@@goodwillhumping7331 its their opinion
Remy deserves an Emmy
Ever. Yes. Ever.
Well, it's on top tier levels. Every character in this episode had substance. Even the cameos of people dancing, children running around, who ends up dead or as survivors who has to deal with their friends' demise was a stark juxtaposition and serves well to the story. That reminds us that genocide is inhumane and there is no justification of killing kids and innocent civilians.
This show never made me cry in 97’ when I was 13 , now you want to do me like this at 40.
Fr ikr.
Ong I'm 34 looking at that end scene where Rogue says "I can't feel you" like wtf is this precipitation around my eyes 😂
43 and the last time a comic made me cry was the Death of Superman when I was 12. A cartoon has never made me cry, until 97 ep5. It is one of the best episodes of any show of all time IMO.
Yep same here
Exactly, same age and feelings here
My wife entered the room as the finale of the episode was happening, right as Gambit said his catch phrase.
I'm 30 and this show was my childhood. She asked why I looked horrified and I couldn't even answer.
This episode started peaceful, intriguing and down the path of love hoping to give us fans the answer to the greatest Marvel relationship, Rogue and Gambit just for it to turn into a massacre and almost kill 2 iconic characters and succeed in the third. After Storm being "cured", Cyclops and Jean falling apart, Jean and Wolverine having a moment and then all this.. I was shocked immediately and I was in shock for hours after.
My name is Arkangel Gaming and I am not okay.
I simply can't believe how much they fit into this episode without it feeling forced!!
Second time marvel has broken me with the words " i can't feel you"😭.
WandaVison 😢
Loki leaving his TVA friends behind 😢
And also with "I can't feel the wind" (can't remember the exact words) when Ororo lost her powers
@@andisfeliz great catch
Kind of random, but I've always liked Star-Lord's line from "Infinity War":
"Did we just lose...?"
It's deceptively sophisticated dialogue, the opposite of what you ordinarily hear a hero say that late in a film, when, ordinarily, we're about to see him win.
And I think for the character, also, it's an unsettling existential reckoning that he's shocked to hear himself say.
"Infinity War" is still my favorite Marvel film. A masterpiece of the genre.
Magneto Said dont be afraid in German to the kids is just gut punch.
When Magneto said a promise was made and he finds Leech to comfort and protect him, man… just heart wrenching
My theory is that this could be what Erik's parents said to him before he lost them.
That broke me started crying instantly
I haven’t cried over anything in decades, the tears felt cool against my cheeks. This season is amazing, a welcome surprise from Marvel
Oh gosh my heart broke and I cried. This show has already made me cry multiple times 😭
This is the most surprising Marvel death ever. Considering it’s a ten episode series- and has episodes like four which are basically a normal cartoon- and that it’s a continuation of a 5 season series- I didn’t think any main characters would die, especially in the middle of a season. I genuinely thought it was impossible for any of them to die. I will REMEMBER IT indeed
The moment Storm was cured I knew this would be the beginning of the end for the series. Getting a comeback to finish its story.
He's not dead. They're setting up an episode similar to the "Time Fugitives" arc in the original show. Just when you think everyone's dead, Cable goes back in time and fixes things. Everything about this show is callbacks to the original episodes. There will also be at least three seasons of this, likely more, and they aren't going to kill off a main character. Just like Jean, Morph, Xavier, and even other minor characters (Shard, Tyler, Apocalypse, Sinister) have all appeared to die on screen, it won't last.
@@joe5923 way to ruin it. And this seems more permanent
@@JustACactus616 I'm not "ruining" anything. I don't have a crystal ball. It's just obvious that they aren't going to kill off 2 or 3 main characters and a whole slew of the extended cast (Morlocks, Hellfire Club, Nightcrawler, Moira & Banshee), especially when Cable was shown time traveling right before the death scene happened. Morph, who was purposefully intended for death, didn't even stay dead. Several of the 9 main characters "died" in the original series, and it was never permanent.
This is definitely _not_ the Saturday morning toon I grew up with, and I'm all here for it.
This was single-handedly the most X-men content in 25 years. Made me realize how lacking the X-men movies were. This episode alone is how I want to see X-men movies in the future. Damn. Still shook.
Absolutely, X-Men in its actual form. Poetic, powerful and tragic.
Literally same. Realized what we had been watching with all those movies was just neutered crap
Having gotten into the comics after watching TAS; I was really excited about hr live action movies.
The reality was that except for the scene where Erik’s parents are torn from him by the Nazis and the fence ripples as he reaches out to them; the movies were a disappointment
Right?! The movies had an amazing cast, but absolutely mid writing.
💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
"There is no love without sin. Love is best nurtured in what we forgive. "
-- Nightcrawler
Beautiful line.
That ending was insane! One of the best of episodes of Marvel Television ever released! X-Men 97 might be my favorite thing Marvel Studios has ever done. Period.
Amen
Thought he said "measured," not "nurtured." 🤔
Same!!
That's why he's my favorite and his powers are sick as fuck. Nightcrawler for the win! I totally thought they were killing him off I was on the verge of tears!
And the saddest. After everything, this is all there is for mutants
That last line by Rogue demolished me!!!! That voice actor deserves an Emmy.
🙄
I completely agree. The way she inverted her musical, Southern lilt from "I CAN'T feel you" to "I can't FEEL you".
Perfect performance.
This show has far exceeded my expectations. I am in love with it. Please do the same thing with the live action version. OG fans are here for it.
Quite simply one of the best episodes of animated television I've ever seen. Legit tears at the end.
I second this
Preach!
Tears and screams from me.
I was shocked. I stopped the data analysis I was doing and stared at my phone, jaw dropped and a tear rolling down my cheek. I'm never going to forget this moment.
Me too :(
Gambits death really hit hard. Seriously had me crying by the time Rogue says Remy, I can't feel you.
I haven’t watched the first x men series but damn hit harder than black widow’s
Gave me Scarlet Witch/Vision vibes... "I can't feel you".
For me it was Magneto’s last words, him reverting back to his native German. We got to see a guy see his family killed him a racist genocide for the *second* time in his life. If he’s not actually dead I imagine a whole bunch of baseline humans will be once he finds out who’s behind this, and frankly who could blame him?
Sugar, I cant feel you... Not Remy
This is marvel. Gambit will be back. But considering Gambits voice actor is the only original cast member that past away, it does make sense to make him die with the original voice actor. So he could be permentaly dead.
Grown man and im sitting here thinking, holy cow, this hit the feels. Great show so far. Hopefully Gambit is not truly gone.
Dude got stabbed in the guts. Then he made the thing that was stuck in his guts explode quite violently. Then he fell to the ground. Then, Rogue touched him for a long time. I'd be surprised if he still got a pulse... 👀
Believe me, I want him back too… but such a sacrifice only has meaning if there are irreversible consequences 😔
Same Iam 45 but This episode gave me chills and my emotions went all over the place. Like teared me up for real 😢But yeah cable will undo this but man what and episode !!!! Gambit mvp !! Remember it!!!
Time travel, guys. I hope this is the solution to prevent attack on Genosha
@@WeaselFromNorth facts right there and we still have Bishop (and Cable) to help prevent this tragedy that occurring (again 😏)
Potential Horsemen of the Apocalypse
Pestilance - Rogue
War - Magneto
Famine - Storm
Death - Gambit
💯out of 💯 and putting Gambit as representative is really what episode his character, alright especially his skills is a gamble for 50/50 chance of survival.
Whenever Watcher appears, just know shit ain’t going to be ok..
RIP Remy…
There's been a precious few times him showing up is a great thing. ...Sadly you never know until the event resolves itself.
I'm wondering if that's truly a "Watcher"
I think Gambit will be back when Cable tries to come back again and he’ll change the event
I keep wondering if it's the Watcher of this universe or the MCU Uatu who pops up in other realities.
Rip remmy, you're my favorite character.
No one is okay, one of our beloved x-men gambit went out like a Omega level
The food is officially going to suck at the X mansion
Did anybody notice that Uuatu showed up when they were showing the sky. Him watching meant that something big was going to happen…
@@ugoeze7360 well I’m going to have to look out for that on my 2nd watch
Yeah, but with Cable and Bishop being involved, they can always erase it through time traveling shenanigans.
"The name's Gambit. Remember it." Effin' legend.
I’ve been casually watching X-MEN 97 this season and this episode wrecked me.
Magneto was a child during the flashbacks, he did not lose his wife and children. His children (Polaris, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver) all appeared in the original Xmen run.
Man that ending with Rogue & Remy, As an adult male that's one of the few times a cartoon has made me cry since I was probably in my teens. Leaves on the Vine is the only other time I can think of..
That hit hard. Gambit was always my favorite in the show and it's how I got introduced to the X-Men as a child. This was my favorite cartoon as a kid and now at 40 years old it was like all my childhood emotions and love of the show and the character came rushing right back.
Mask of the Phantasm. Bruce Wayne, at his parents' grave, pleading with them to let him break his vow because he never thought he could be happy, does it for me even writing about it.
And Iron Giant. I saw it as an adult but years later I had to spoil the end for my son who was 7 or 8 the first time he saw it. He was inconsolable near the end of that film until he calmed down enough for his Mom and I to explain the final scene.
@@docweidnerthey really need to add that exact scene in a batman movie
I was bawling!!! I ending got me bad.
I’m a 54 year old and nearly lost it watching this on my morning train commute. Not sorry. 💔
I have never waited so much for a screencrush video
Same
Agreed
I know right???
Facts!
I was just gonna post the same thing!!! I kept hitting refresh on their channel.
The line from magneto on having no regrets about saving more people… given the many concentration camp imagery, could it be referring to a similar scene from Schlinder’s list, with the protagonist lamenting that he could have saved more
I caught that Conan O'Brien reference at 18:08. "In the Year Two-Thousaaaaand!"
One of the best episodes of anything disney has put out ever!!!! Absolutely stunning and felt longer then 30 min in the best way possible!
Cause the Ep was 37 minutes long.
Was thinking the same thing as it seemed longer than 30.
This episode was phenomenal! THE MCU NEEDS TO HIRE THESE WRITERS FOR THE LIVE-ACTION X-MEN IN THE MCU!
Everything from the animation, storytelling, music and even the soap opera drama and twists were outstanding. Rogue and Gambit's relationship was so interesting and poetic with excellent writing, almost Shakespearean. That ending alone had my mouth on the floor. Gambit went out like an *ABSOLUTE G!!!* "Sugar... I can't feel you," nah I can't😭
I loved seeing my boy Nightcrawler, too; he's always been my favourite X-men.
Magneto had some of the hardest lines Ive ever heard in this episode alone.
Just sent the same thing in group chat
This was peek storytelling. Claremont would approve of this episode. Rogue and Gambit's VAs deserve awards for this.
Writing for an animated show vs a live action movie is more different than you think. It's not as easy as switching the writers.
Did you hear the way the music stopped when Jean kissed Logan. Beautiful
YOU AIN’T WRONG
Glad I discovered you, man! I love the way YOU break it all down for us, connecting the dots, revealing things we might have missed. That's the kind of recap/review I personally like. Yes, I will definitely be looking at your recaps in the future.👍
OMG this episode broke me in all the right places. Without a doubt, the best episode of an animated show I’ve ever seen.
More than omega level. A true hero. RIP my favorite x-men Gambit.
Magneto’s line about world leaders is one of the best things in this episode
Honestly, it is one of the best lines in general.
Absolutely, to respond to accusations of being a terrorist leader with “well all your leaders are terrorists” was hard af, such good writing in this episode
Was straight up about Joe and Bibi
he literally speaks in epic
@joe5923 Iran are Wahhabi not Muslim
„Hab keine Angst“ was flawless and took me by surprise.
First part of the episode was hard to watch but it made a huge difference after about 20 mins or so and became one of the most captivating episodes of any tv show i have watched in a long time.
I know it's a cartoon but that might be one of the best things ever put to the screen. That was gut wrenching and intense.
That Gambit sacrifice was legendary. “Remember it” That episode was crazy 🔥🔥
So we all know Cable’s probably gonna rewind time and have a do-over, but I hope that don’t take away from how BOSS Gambit’s exit was. Magneto & the Morlocks’ exit was also amazing and emotional. Absolutely brilliant choice to have no music underneath that entire finale & its epic sound design. The X-Men have finally arrived to save the floundering MCU, and I can’t wait to see what’s next!
i really want gambit to live but i absolutely HATE when shows just hit the undo button. i hated endgame for that exact reason. It was more interesting to see how theyd play with a new cast than to undo everything. They should at least play it out like this for awhile.
Well they set up the adversary in EP 4 so we might end up going the route of the siege perilous to revive him, also to restore storms power
@@user-br3oe1lc5yvery true, but with end game it was a given non of the snapped star studded cast was gonna stay long, more a kin to days of future past. Completely undo everything the past 90 minutes and erase everyone's memories like it never happened, bro why even watch a movie at that point if you're gonna undo everything.
Part of me wonders if maybe they showed Cable to suggest it CAN'T be undone. Like they might have some timey whimey "I can't cross my own timeline" shenanigans to suggest that he can't just constantly redo everything.
If he could, nothing would ever have any stakes.
@@TNEQL the watcher was there. this is a significant moment in time for that world.
cable can try but, as loki explained, it will only branch into a new variant.
this event happened. if they undo it, it becomes narratively unfulfilling
For the longest i remember, growing up, gambit was my favorite character, from the movies, the games, and when watching the x men showed, I loved his character even more. But watching this episode could only made me shed tears.
Rip gambit♥️♦️♠️♣️
I love how they made it look like Death of Superman at the end with Lois holding superman…
The writers know how to give a subconscious gut punch. Str8 up brilliant
So glad to see gambit finally flex his powers to his full potential its such an interesting power set ,and he's always held himself back so seeing him go all out like that was so satisfying.
Technically that's not even his full potential. He's still scaled down
That wasn’t his full potential, but alright.
not even close, can't Remy bust planets and even stars at full potential? He has limitless power, though not limitless powers.
@drlca6601 If he was that powerful, then the sentinels would've detected him as an omega threat.
In the comic , he went to Mr sinister to dampen his power.
He is a omega level mutant. He can excite the molecules of stuff.
Something else I started thinking about was Magneto's comment to Gambit in the Blackbird early in this episode about him being the one who wouldn't survive the fall if their plane crashed again. Even tho he'd be present with two flyers trying to, neither would be able to save him in the end. None of us are ok.
this comment right here doesnt have the amount of attention that it should... they spoil the end in a random conversation without ruinning anything... what an episode
@@pablosaglimbeni What an episode is right. I stayed up until Wednesday morning to basically see it soon enough to avoid spoilers. That little joke went over my head completely until the next day, and you're right. They spoiled the end right from the start and none of us saw it coming.
Wow, just wow, that was one of the best episodes of Marvel TV animation or live action I've ever seen.
Bravo Marvel, Bravo.
This is my first time viewing " SCREENCRUSH " .
It was very informative , the breakdown and the Easter Eggs were excellent .
"I can't feel you" was also said by Wanda when she touched Vision's decommissioned body 😭
As a huge X-Men fan and a grown man, I admit I cried for this episode and I am not ashamed.
Same
😭😭
Same here
Dude, MAN UP!
😢😅👍
Dude this was such a episode! 10/10
This was the craziest episode I’ve ever seen. My mouth was wide open and still is. I can’t believe what I saw
I literally got choked up when what happened happened, my daughter must've noticed a change cause she came running up to give me a hug lol
I am glad I was alone, not sure my wife would have understood.... of course I am still apologising for making her sit through X-Men: The Last Stand... so she might just see it as revenge
the fact that it took me this long until a Marvel animated show to make me feel something in a Marvel project blows my mind. what a greatly written episode
Just watched it and omg, dude. It's been ten minutes and I'm still crying!
This was an extremely powerful episode. Kudos to the writers!
21:16 “They shall be avenged” that gives me goosebumps. What a powerful setup to a powerful line
Bro i was already having a shit day yesterdayyy😢 this episode made me so fucking sad, GAMBIT IS AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN MY FAV XMEN.
Same....
Same
Hope your day feels better bro 😢he will return pretty sure Gambit will come back unless they officially changed X-Men members soon😢
Love that you give credit when credit is due 👏🏿💯
I've missed the politically charged aspects of XMen in the MCU. it's nice to have it back, I've always related to this team more than others. it's nice to have hope for a better future, even when you know someone will hate you just for what you were born as. The original series helped me get though growing up as someone who was different and I'm hoping hoping it helps the next generation too :)
Gambit is my favorite, that ending was soul crushing
At least they let my dude go out like the badass he is.
This episode was one of the greatest episode of tv/streaming I've ever seen. Nightcrawler was SO good, I was super worried about how they were going to change him, and the dynamic between Rogue, Magneto, and Gambit was perfect. The sacrifice, the love, the expressions when Magneto was being bombarded and worried about Rogue and Gambit. That shit ruined me. SO good.
Just seeing that half second in the intro with him and Gambit fighting back to back was really heart-racing.
Those close ups of Erik's eyes as he watched Rogue's are so haunting
A lot of people forget Gambit is an omega level mutant but he had mister sinister lobotomize him so that his power wouldn't spin out of control..in an alternate universe he's one of the more powerful entities in existence
Excellent way to pull heart strings with the "I can't feel you" line. We were already primed for the depths of its implication by Wanda and Vision, so this hit even harder. I'm truly impressed by this animated series.
One of the best episodes of anything animated ever…
I’m not okay either, Ryan. Damn, this episode was incredible
I’m 41 and I was bawling by the end. Best episode of both series by far
The attack on Genosha is directly lifted from "E for Extinction" from the first story of Grant Morrison's New X-Men so maybe the show will introduce "newer" threats to mutant kind like Cassandra Nova or the U-Men. Maybe the show will touch the subject of second mutation with Emma Frost's Diamond form.
Commenting everywhere to say how awesome this episode was and this season 100% deserves Emmy nominations!!
This was peak storytelling easily the best episode so far in the series had me shook to the core holy smokes this literally the xmen version of the red wedding its clanged everything.
None of us are okay Ryan... None of us are
I hope this truly makes this series take off and we see it get all the love it deserves
That ep WRECKED me. Soooooo good though. Amazing, simply perfect
22:35 This kaiju Sentinel is based on Cassandra Nova's "Wild Master Mold" from the comics, from the triple-head to the creepy insectoid carapace
Never read it but I know tangentially of it, was coming to see if anyone else was going to point this out too.
The fact that Sentinels even have heads or anything critical in that area makes no sense. It's like dressing up humans to be aliens on Star Trek. Painting another race onto the ruling one never looks good.
And the long shot, showing the kaiju form trampling a devasted city, is right out of the original 1954 Godzilla... which, in turn, was meant to reflect the devastation of a city getting atom-bomed.
@@dangerfly True, but they are merely man-made, and mankind be making humanoid-looking robots all the time in real life too
The storyline I believe was E for Extinction. I think the end of this episode was based on that and not the Mutant Massacre. In E for Extinction the majority of the mutant population on Genosha is wiped out. The sentinels wipe out almost everyone and from the ashes of that event we got things like second mutations (Emma Frosts diamond form, etc) as well as an Excalibur series with a still alive Magneto trying to rebuild Genosha alongside Charles from the ruble, thus sparking the Magneto was right slogan and the whole Xorn storyline🤷🏻♂️
I'm also, "not ok", This episode rocked me to my nostalgic core, in soo many ways.
As an adult, this episode made me ugly cry. Having to watch Remy see the love of his life with another man, and then the end. 😭
Broke my heart for 40 minutes straight. Then they smashed it!
Doug whimpering add the end is the funniest Doug bit to date. 🎉 😂
There's definitely gonna be some Time-travel shenanigans to undo this, no way they kill off Three main characters for good like that all in one instance!
Yep. Cable was in this episode for a reason.
Main characters have been killed or died
Time travel
They are back like is never happening To begin with
Well you could see a watcher in the sky before going into the party so i assume theres some sort of what if events at play here that may have split universes. Havj g 1 with the tragic sacrafices and 1 with cable arriving earlier and helping stop the sentinal
Cable tried (didn't he say something like, not again?) but it looks liked he failed.
I think the time travel thing is going to fail, and this is a nexus event/fixed point in time that can’t be changed. That’s why the Watcher was there
Logan showed real emotional maturity when Jean kissed him like that, we all remember the time in the "Till Death Do Us Part." episode where Logan skipped the wedding because he was busy destroying robots that looked just like Scott. Logan conceding to Scott and recognizing that he and Jean are just meant to be shows that he's really grown as a character. All that soul searching in Japan must've done him some good.
9:56 Glad I wasn’t the only one who thought that was Blink, she’s always been my favorite
I saw The Watcher when I was watching today! So glad you confirmed that!!
Gambit stopped what magneto couldn’t….Omega!!
holy shit. what an episode. of all the x-men franchise animations and live-action movies that exist, this episode tops all of them. my jaw was dropped for half the episode. this one hit hard
This was rough thank you screen crush for this breakdown we gotta just wait a little longer to get the complete story
Really good video and recap, man!
I don't know what DeMayo did to get fired, but it must be something major because this series is just amazing. Hope he can reconciliate pn whatever he did and come back for S3.
You don't want him back lol season one was worked on with many people, his plans for the next two season are bad. So kinda of glad he is gone.
@@mmaGambitu were in the writers room😅 to know that for sure? Why has he been getting sole writing credit these past few couple episodes if more ppl were involved in writing
@@luismedrano6680 he gets the credit because the scripts were 'assigned' to him (this is common practice on a lot of tv shows), doesn't mean other people didn't come up with important parts of the story or the dialogue.
Probably this episode!
Depned on what he has done.
The rumor aboot his departure range from, artistic disagrement to being a toxic and abusive douchebag.
If this the latter, then no he don't deserve to return, not at least after some therapy.
Rogue's words to Remy reminded me of what Wanda said when she saw Vision in pieces, "I can't feel you."
Just saw the episode...
Words can't describe this one... Been a long time a show made me feel
This was a great episode of content. Not just an X-men show or even a cartoon. It was great content period.
Hope we get more of this.
So can we reserve the writers to continue doing other Marvel projects going forward. This 5 weeks of storytelling is as good as the whole infinity saga of the MCU
Dude! The watcher thing blew my mind! So Happy for everyone that caught it.
Ikr, after I saw him I went back to check in every establishing shot for cameos
@@Jay-gq1mo I did the leo decaprio meme haha
This series has really surpassed my expectations. Fantastic story telling, animation and that ace of base song was just ‘chefs kiss’.
The watcher!! That was so cool i totally missed that! I had to go back and look for myself.
Justice for my boy Gambit ❤️

OK, enough of that
I'm not ok either, I was not mentally prepared for that. Thank you for the amazing breakdown. I will have to go back and watch all the others but I do really appreciate it. And have to rewatch this episode.
I’m glad you counted the watcher.
My son saw it and made me rewind it to see it
Ryan is so not okay, that he forgot to mention your mom when he was naming the background characters
97 is really a masterpiece. I’ve cried twice (episode 2 and 5). Episode 5 was just so well done and gut wrenching. I’m hoping we get to see the Hickman resurrection protocols come to life.
this was the best x-men live or animated I have ever seen .
13:40 mark has me in stitches, because I always felt the same way!! 🤣😂🤣
I think the concept is Afrofuturism. You're not the only one fighting back tears at the end! In an animated series, it's easier to kill someone off, so the stakes are crazy high!
Delicious stakes! apparently the last two episodes are going to be even crazier
Easily one of the best X-Men episodes ever. Had me in tears saying did that really happen again and again. I still can’t believe it happened.
I just finished episodes 1-5 and omg it hit me right in my childhood and all the feels.
I'm with you, I'm not ok right now.
That last scene and ending music was gut wrenching.
Why is it that every other episode of this show is doing it's best to tug on my heart strings and make me cry. My gf weeped the episode when Nathan was taken to the future to find a cure and become Josh Brolin lol
U forgot what good comic book writing was.... not 2 1/2 hours of action but real storytelling with real consequences!
