I am confused by one thing, if you are using 18mm or 3/4" plywood for the wall mounted cleats, why is it that on your plans fro the spacers the hooks are only 12mm high, surely then the spacer would not reach the wall hooked onto a 18mm cleat. please let me know.
Hi Peter, thanks for getting in touch. The spacers don't need to reach the wall. Their only job is to space the wall cleats from point to point. They provide the correct distance that gives the consistent 6mm or !/4" gap between the tool holders.
@@NeatFrenchCleat Thank you for the quick reply, and it did answer the issue. I don't have a laser cutter so I am attempting to extract all the dimensions from the 3D doc that I purchased from you and then I will cut it out manually. It was not easy to open the DXF file but eventually I did by using Autodesks Fusion app and then using the measure tool to extract the dimensions .
