    Great video: creative use of scraps for high need purpose , no BS talk, entertaining to watch because of good ideas, steady flow , only show what is needed to demonstrate concept and methods. You videos are among the very few that I don’t find myself scrolling through to get to the useful information in need.

    I enjoy watching your videos as they are full of ideas best suited for me as I retire very, very soon and intend on turning my single garage into a woodworking shop. So I will be going through all your videos again to reproduce a lot of your ideas before I can attempt any of my own. Keep up the great work.😎

    John, the fact is that a workshop continually evolves, what works now may not in the future, it doesn't matter what others think, it's all about what works for you now.

    Great video. Only suggestion may be for the corded trim router. A slot cutout in the base allowing it to be stored with the bit in it and at depth. Not for long term storage obviously, but would allow you to set the tool aside securely with out having to readjust the bit. I know you have gone over to the cordless so the corded just sits most of the time. However, having two trim routers, you may find that you can use them both to add to productivity. For instance one with a flush cut and one with a round over. By having both ready and adjusted you don’t need to change bits keeping bit changes and adjustments to a minimum.

    • @Anthany0916
      @Anthany0916 Год назад +3

      I agree. I've put up a few cleats on a wall and started making some basic holders from some plywood, and I'm gonna cut a hole in the center for my trim router so I can keep it at the depth of had it set at like your saying. I'll prolly drill it out like ¾ so it'll fit all without a problem no matter what I got in it. But that's a great idea!

    Outstanding! As you said, you could have built something more integrated and "pretty", but your various docks achieved your goals perfectly, and they fit spot on into the French cleat rails you already have.
    You have a great imagination and a rare eye for simple innovation, my friend. Keep up the great work!

    “Better looking”? I think they look great. Also, there is beauty in their “simplicity”. Designs that are really clean and simple looking, can sometimes be the ones that took the most cleverness to create.
