    AWESOME .... awesome........... I have reviewed many tutorials for the same scarf, thought there was something wrong with my understanding of the whole process, then I found yours just when I was about to give up.......... wow ... this was great and easy to follow and understand......... finished mine in 10 minutes... but made a decision to not do as long for what I wanted it for....... Thanks a bunch

    Wish i had found your tutorial a long time ago because my daughter bought a whole bunch of Sashay and asked if I could make some for Halloween costumes and some fancy boa-like scarves. I tried every one of the instructions, even taking the yarn off the skein and spreading it apart on a empty paper towel cardboard roll but it was NEVER EXPLAINED CLEARLY ENOUGH. Then I accidentally came across your tutorial and it was sooo easy that I couldn't figure out why it had been such a PIA. YOU ARE A GRAND TEACHER. Thanks so much. PLP

    So basically if you want big fluffy rosettes you add more loops. For smaller flounces do less loops.

    I can't seem to pull the one loop through the others without it catching the rest of them or just pulling all the way out and I've lost everything I just did, I'm using a 5.50 hook.... an 'I' ... do I need a smaller one??

    Hi, Love your video and found it very easy to follow. However, I have tried it several times and each time it completly unraveled. The ruffles were not secure. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks

    How do you connect the ends of the yarn to make it all one piece so it can be put over your head instead of tying it after you put it on.

    • @AliF-sl5xy
      @AliF-sl5xy 8 лет назад +2

      You just tie the ends together. It won't be noticeable. Hope I helped

    trying to make this scarf. Having trouble with the loop that you draw thru staying tight??? is there a way to hold it tight. and why does the loop get longer as it gets bigger????? please help

  • @erscoiligia2007
    @erscoiligia2007 11 лет назад

    Simple Genious, ha!(why bother knitting?!?) Some more tips:
    1. Increase/decrease the number of loops, as the yarn goes thicker/thinner (why waste it?....)
    2.Make sure you wash your scarf before wearing/ showing it -the ruffles length gonna expend - to the double!
    3. For more variation, put one yarn upon another, and work them together. And even change their place, from time to time!...
    (Almost)endless possibilities! Have fun! Love.Li

    Pull the yarn from the inside like a regular skeen and you won't have to have the ball of yarn rolling, it will just come straight through the metal.

  • @KellyinKansasCity

    Okay, Maybe I'm just an idiot. I can make the ruffles but as they build up and come off the back of the hook as I am working they just unravel. What am I doing wrong?
