Regarding your questions about base sizes, they have been increased. Most sizes are about 5mm larger, like infantry going from 20mm to 25mm. Also fun fact, rules as written Chaos warriors cannot take Chaos demons as Allies, despite being able to Ally with Skaven.

I wish they did new tomb king sculpts for the mainline units because the ball joint skeletons are a pain to glue together

On a day when he actually has free time you should invite baal on for some classic Warhammer fantasy talk.
Similar to an episode covering Tolkien stuff some day which me or tang could speak on. Maybe around the time rings of crap season 2 drops and discuss favorite things from proper Tolkien lore

There is a silver lining. if The Old World fails, the damage GW can do to Warhammer Fantasy lore will be much more limited. because they'll go back to obsessing over AoS and female space marines, or whatever other degeneracy gets them out of bed in the morning.

I can not comment because my LGS hasn't received another set of shipments from GW, so I don't have the rules yet. It's a bit rough at the moment.

It seems GW always seems to provide gamers with an incomplete product.

Personally with GW being what it is right now i would rather play the 9th Age than The Old World.

I was very excited for fantasy coming back, the chance to get a wood elf army without paying thousands on ebay was brilliant, however with games workshop changing to wokehammer not warhammer I will not spend a penny on they're products until they change their stance and attitude, as far as of the old world is dead they never expected it to do well they've set it up to fail to a degree, looking at how quick the models sell out they never anticipated the demand and the lack of stock is doing more harm to the game and total sales in the long run than anything else so far

    Erm guys…
The old world is set during the Great War against chaos. 200 years before the end of fantasy. Outside of the ‘modern era’ it is the most know about period of time, with several games based during it.
All the factions in the old world are long since established; the ones people are upset about are the lack of Dark Elves and other far away factions.

The vampire counts were one of the most popular factions ...not including them on launch was moronic.
(I miss my blood dragons 😭)

im confused how you say it failed when it mostly sold out and so much so gw immediately announced dwarves and orks and said no itll go thru this start point to end times we arent retconning which is the only letdown but still
this is old fantasy just the models are starting from a far back point and will be added back in plus we just got skaven announced to come back to aos
so skaven fans can kick rocks they are gunna have aos rules and old world rules before long (dont they have legacy rules current?)
    so like no
the launch was a massive blowout w rules changes and the timeline start point being changed and set further back in timeline being at worst just something to nitpick about
like alot of fantasy models can be used in old world right now too like wtf
skaven werent at the launch of fantasy too so wtf is w this entitled skaven fanboying rant when they are getting AoS and legacy/oldworld rules and such
like wtf i get it wasnt what you expected but you hyping yourselves up off no info isnt gws fault and i hate saying this because i despise defending gw but i see this bs during video game launches too like you not getting what you hyped up in your head is not the companies fault
the fuck even is this petulant ass podcast asmo guys i expect more conscious though process from you all
    btw
vamp counts dont exist till nagash so this time frame in the story they dont exist so even allowing rules for them is a huge thing for fantasy players
    same w chaos dwarves
the only faction that def needs to be here this early is lizardmen they existed from the worlds dawning
the demons didnt come thru at first btw only at certain points same way empire of man didnt exist at the start same w the skaven

My brother in Christ, when do you think TOW takes place in?
It's only two hundred or so years before the "modern" Fantasy setting. Vampire Counts are already established as a faction (the Empire literally just finished a big war with them), Nagash has been dead for centuries, and Chorfs have been around longer than that, and daemons have been popping in and out since the polar gates blew up.
There is no reason, beyond externally imposed restrictions, for any faction to be absent from TOW. Vampire Counts got their teeth kicked in, but they're still around defending their lands, skaven are fighting a global civil war, chorfs are about to make a deal with an undivided chaos force to supply them with arms, armour, and support, ogres are still roaming the mountains and selling their services as mercenaries, dark elves are still raiding the coastline.

@@Nomadic_Gaming the 2270s (TOW) to the 2520s (Fantasy) is about 250 years. How is anything I said wrong?
