You’re just wrong. If the AdMech went away, all the tech would just stop.
If the Imperium could wrangle the dregs of Dark Age technology like the AdMech could, they would.

Cleanse this tech-heresy and prepare for servitorization.

    Great video!
Some thoughts I had while watching:
I feel like the question of whether or not the emperor is the Omnissiah is, like many things in the setting, still kind of left up in the air. Even though we literally have written proof of that not being the case, the vision Kelbor Hal sees in End of the death (i think) of the dark king being the true omnissiah and well seeing what Emp's eventually becomes in the same novel lends credence to the idea that the Emp's may have inadvertently caused his own lie to become true. Although this could be explained away by like warp fuckery or something. Also there's the fact that the power of belief is a pretty crazy thing in this setting and I'd imagine if the rather practical tau could accidentally spawn their own god then an equally large number of zealous mechanics could do the same.
Another thing regarding the dogma of the mechanicus's no innovation policy. I feel like this is also something that is a little more grey in the context of the setting than what it looks like at first. From our contemporary pov, the mechanicus are deplorable (although funny) nutjobs. But in the context of 40k, where if a latent psyker sneezing too hard could cause a demon invasion having pretty heavy restrictions on innovation might be helping preserve the imperium. I mean the imperium is the salvages of a human empire that was torn apart by AI (innovation gone wrong) and is also the target of gods of knowledge that could influence your "innovation" to be a planet buster just for the laughs. If innovation was unrestricted in the setting one of the 1 million worlds of the imperium could more than likely bring about the second AI revolt and even if innovation was regulated to be something done by a few indiviuals like an elite group of scientist it would just give the followers of Tzetch a smaller group of people to influence. I mean we kind of see this exact scenario in SM2. What's the solution here? Idk man its 40k its kind of meant to suck, if i was there i would prob suggest to the mechanicus to start worshipping the void dragon, it seems legit enough lol. Or maybe start training blanks to be scientist. (I'm a mechanicus player and the idea of a 2nd civil war starting with a subsect leaving to worship the void dragon is something I have been praying for lol).
