Since this is the first AoS episode we've done, (and the only one we're doing for awhile) we're looking for feedback and ideas regarding future ones:
    1. Should we keep our 40K audio-visualizer avatars when discussing AoS or should we use a second set when we cover AoS like we have for our MtG podcast?
    2. If we should use a second set of avatars when covering AoS what ideas do you all have for each of us? ...Other than the obvious "Brad is clearly a Slaan" joke I can already hear you all typing.
    3. If you're only a 40K player, was this easy to follow and understand? We attempted to follow our 40K formatting to hopefully make the topic jump painless.
    4. If you're primarily a 40K player, do you have interest in seeing a lot of our more popular 40K topics done for AoS? (Budget episodes, Intro episodes, Grading Every Faction's X episodes, etc.)
(I will also probably post this as a proper community post later. Comments with this feedback and the other RUclips pleasantries are always encouraged though.)

Please continue doing AoS/TOW content. Warhammer Fantasy is honestly such an underrated IP and it's one where GW has writers with the chops and the balls to actually push a narrative forward instead of the lore feeling subservient to the tabletop. The way AoS handled Stormcast Eternals was so refreshing; taking them from "Sigmarines" to an actually unique army with it's own characters, narrative, problems, and tension was a breath of fresh air and what allowed me to start taking AoS seriously as a setting and game. I would suggest getting a few episode ideas together, then start the AoS episodes after the launch of 4th so we can see where the game is headed.
As for this episode, my wife agrees that "Big Turtle" is the best model, and I am personally surprised that you guys didn't pick the Doomwheel as the mascot for Skaven. A literal hamster wheel powered by a coked out rat swarm throwing warp lightning until they crash into something and explode? Literally describes the furry rat bastards to a T, and it's why I love them so much. As an audio listener, I went out of my way to leave a comment to let you know that AoS gets a big thumbs up for me and I'd love to see more.

So Bone reapers aren't wearing bone as armor, rather they're essentially bone golem. They collect bones and break them down to create new creatures.

  • @KamenRiderGreed

I mentioned this in another comment. However it bears repeating. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!! I'm very happy to see youve finally done an AoS episode and I cant wait for more to come!!!
However, I do need to point out a few errors in regards to points made in the episode, because I'm a pedant.
First: Stormcast Retributors weren't the "main" unit mascot for their first wave release, that was the Liberators. Using the Space Marine analogy, Retributors are the equivalent to Stormcast Terminators, while Liberators are Intercessors. So theyre supposed to be more heavily armored as a result.
Second: The lore explanation for the new style of Stormcast armor is because Be'lakor cursed the skies and that prevents Stormcast wearing the old armor from respawning if they die. So the new "Thunderstrike" armor was made to counter that, just by filling it with so much lightning they can break through the cursed barrier. Because Warhammer lore.
Third: The "Bull" theme you mentioned with Lumineth isn't 100% accurate. The Bull asthetic is only meant for about 3 units, the Alarith Mountain Spirit, the Alarith Stonemage and the Alarith Stoneguard. If you dont believe me, look at the "Hurakan" units, they dont have a bulk theme, but a fox theme in their asthetic. Think of them like more fleshed out Eldar Aspect temples. Because each Lumineth Elemental Temple gets a "troop" a "caster" and an Elemental Spirit that make their up their own sub-portion of the army. I agree theyre the best part of the army. They're Elf monks trained to embody their chosen element in life and combat, but the Bull theme is mostly contained to the Alarith Mountain Temple.
If youve read all of this, thank you for indulging me. This was a legitimately great video and I truly hope you do more AoS content in the future!!! And, of course, thank you Berilio for your service. Sigmar will reward you for your efforts on The Anvil of Apotheosis.

Ossiarchs Bonereapers are essenetially bone and soul constructs. Basically Nagash's effort into making quality over quantity soldiers. Bodies are gathered up, flesh stripped off, the leftover bones are then refined and processed into a much harder material and formed into a body with a sort of soul gem. The soul gem is then stuffed with a grafted soul. Basically a composite soul made up of different bits and pieces of other souls to form perfect soldiers. The only "liche" amongst them is Arkhan the Black.
    '
Also, I love the deathrattle skeletons, but I wish there was more focus on the necromancers portion instead of just vampires all day everyday.

You seem to have gotten the Stormcast Chambers confused with the Storm Vaults in your lore explanation. Prior to this video I knew next to nothing about AoS and was fully sold that should I get into the hobby, I'd be diving into 40K. But this was super interesting to me, and the mascots of the Death factions especially really gripped me in a way I've struggled to find from the 40K factions I like and was unable to grip into from Tomb Lords or Vampire Counts from Fantasy. I would love to see more AoS content from y'all - your videos are what really got me interested in Warhammer and I'd love to see more from y'all in this realm as well.

You guys touched a bit on it here but I think you should really do a "Should Daemons be split into mono gods?" episode and give different reasons for why or why not and how you would go about doing it. Personally I think they should give a detachment in each cult marine codex that incentivises taking daemon allies and also expand some of the keywords. Like for World Eaters I'd add a Khorne Daemonkin detachment, give it strategems that target the KHORNE keyword, then make the aura abilities on Skarbrand, the Bloodthirster, and Angron target the KHORNE keyword too
