Almost everything You do is against the rules. Nice terrains, lovely miniatures, nice enviroment but playing is absolutely crap. You are very bad teachers.
this come up from time to time, its most likely your understanding of the rules is incorrect, so you think we are doing it wrong. Can you give me an example of something we have done wrong?
@@MountainMiniatures All units movment is messy and innacurate. They talk all the time to make the opponnent dispersed. In any master tournament they would be disqualifild after first game.

You guys have the best battle reports. The top down view makes it easy to follow, the editing between the cameras is flawless, your enthusiasm and energy is a joy to watch, the room, the battlefield and the models are pleasant to look at and you both clearly love playing the game. 10/10 I hope your channel grows to be the biggest channel for old world content so you can do this fulltime and upload every day!
Great game! Heads-up - when the darkshards fled from the flame phoenix, you would go your entire move (with the roll, like 14"). When a target flees, it doesn't count as a failed charge. Not sure if you did that and it was unclear, but something to keep in mind.
Also, not sure I'd call the skirmisher pushing the Black Guard off the table a dirty play - that's the downside to not moving and being so close to the table edge!
You actually stop when you catch the fleeing enemy (p.157)

@@MrGunnar177 nah, it was pretty great actually. 4 players with 5k armies rotating through turns. Story was that a Norscan clan had raided too aggressively so a reprisal expedition had formed with an Empire noble, a major Questing Knight, a contingent of Wood Elves, and an ogre mercenary clan engaging a Beastman herd, a Chaos warband, and every daemon that their magic users could summon on short notice. Fun and occasionally wildly unpredictable!
Awesome game with delfs vs helfs! I definitely think the Black guard should have charged the star dragon along with Luca's dragon lord. You simply challenge with the (black) dragon lord, and the infantry will add static +4 CR to the fight and outnumber the star dragon. In fact, I consider this play to be in the handbook of how to deal with an enemy dragon lord; get it engaged with a hard to kill character (such as your own dragon lord) and add something adding a good amount of static CR and unit str; challenge with you survivable character and win the combat based on CR and cause it to most likely flee (because you outnumber). You then have a good chance of killing it by chasing it down with your mounted character. I was very surprised that the black guard did not charge along at that point...
Also yes, the phoenix are just not powerful enough for their cost, no behemoth, no terror, and too low amount of attacks. The frost has some play with str and T 6, but still not great...
Steve is such a gracious winner, he always tries to make Luka feel better about the game

Idk if it was dice alone, I'm not sure how you rule that part of the terrain but if Luca had gone more on the offensive with the executioners it looks like he could've charged the Silver Helms in the same turn he went for the double dragon duel. I feel it could've changed things up significantly.
Whenever Luca says that's a panic check in my head I hear that Simpsons character saying "that's a paddlin"

Qq- I was sure that behemoth stomp attacks are only effective against non-monster models like infantry o cavalry…or am I mistaking editions…?
stomp works on everything, just dont get the ap against behemoths.

Can someone explain “hitting on 7s or 8s” isn’t 6 always a hit
If you have negative modifiers you could end up on a 7+ or higher. If i remember correctly, a 7+ is a 6+ which you reroll and have to get another 6+ or something like that. Basically, you have to succeed twice in a row.
7+ is a 6 followed by a 3+. 8+ is a 6 followed by a 4+, 9+ is a 6 followed by a 5+, 10+ is 2 6es

Luka's ability to roll natural 6s is almost as impressive as my ability to roll natural 1s.
I'm still better though, I was renowned for it when I played Mordheim and I'm very proud of it... not 🤣
