Congrats Man! This is so awesome. This is also a dream of mine to have something similar. Very well deserved. Can’t wait to see how the cars look inside. 👍🏽
You should just get some orange pallet racking use it as a wall on the lean-to side then you can put some nice Cedar trellis on the backside for your neighbours to look at the little got to look at that and you can put all your extra suspension and stuff like that outside then you got to take up that space inside
That's a good idea. I don't think I'll need that extra room. My parts supply is pretty small, I don't hoard a lot of items any longer unless it's hard to find stuff like taillights and bumpers.
Very cool!! A friend of mine just built a 3 bay garage with a 2 bedroom apartment up top behind his house. it's nice he plans on renting the front house and moving to the back one. Do any of your neighbors complain about car stuff you do?
That's awesome, and smart! Not at all. I never leave any shells or parts laying around and only work on cars during reasonable hours. My house probably looks the cleanest out front too.
That turned out real nice! A 4 post lift would be perfect to park your Hondas under for storage. Will you eventually be adding some kind of insulation to the ceiling for those hot summer days? Not sure if it's even possible with the buildings design. I see that the foundation is quite higher than the actual ground. Are you going to be adding some kind of concrete slab in front of the doors? It's going to look real nice having those Honda's stored away. Thanks for sharing.
Insulation isn't a must for me. I've been working in my own house garage for years and am used to the desert summers here. Now if I can afford if next year, then it would be an upgrade for me. Our Texas winters where I live are soft so I'm it worried about the cold at all. The foundation is the same height as my house foundation to accommodate any rain run off flowing away from the garage. Concrete is in the final video 2 weeks from now. Thanks for the support, I'm excited to get the cars in there!
To get a lift you have to have a minimum concrete depth in the two areas your putting the lift. My area is 12" deep. Always research beforehand to save time and money. To put one now you'll have to cut parts of concrete up and pour it deeper
U should run a pipe for data or coaxial cable from the front all the way to the back .if u ever need services back there is ready I say this cuz this is a big Mistake people do and when they cover the back yard with concrete they are going to tell u that they can’t get services back there and WiFi is not really going to cover u back there form ur home just saying but looks good man
Great garage, what’s the company you use to have this steel garage build? I wonder if it’s possible to do much wider the garage I mean a different size I think your is it like 25’x50’ around there?
@GarageBuiltHondas OK, thank you. I'm searching for a contractor at the moment to pour a slab for a 20x50 or 20x60 the size will depend on the slab pour cost 😆. Had 2 unprofessional guys come over telling my husband all types of bogus ways of pouring the slab. I have been communicating over the phone with these guys that we would like a monolithic pour with a notch, but they are trying to do something else and don't want to pull permit which is a red flag. I wish I could pour it myself 😆 thank you for your response.
Thanks!! I'd like to, but I'm not too worried about it. I'm used to working in the heat and this is an upgrade for sure from my house garage. We'll see what I can afford as time goes on.
Nice building. I live close to you. I drive a 89 crx si. I have a 12ton dump truck and a bobcat. Let me know if you need any material for around your shop. Maybe we can trade material for mechanic work. Keep up the good vids. Been following for some time now.
The building was 15k. I can during all westher, but I'll have to dress appropriately but I live in the desert SW so our winters are pretty nice and I don't mind the heat. I'm so used to working in my house garage and that thing is hotter than this garage in the summer.
Wow congratulations on your shop!!! Where did you get the equipment and how much did you pay for everything and labor? Cuz im looking for something like your shop but my plan is an 18 wheeler truck wash. Oh and can i get there number pls im also in el paso tx
Go towards the end of this video. I go over all the exact costs. Or stick around and check out the while video too! ruclips.net/video/KV7PWdaHOP4/видео.html
No. Its beyond my budget for water supply and drainage to the garage. Its essentially a big storage spot for my cars/tools and a place to work on them instead of my house garage.
Congrats man, if anyone deserves a nice garage its you.
LeeRoy Dundlehay screw you! I deserve one too!
Congratulations on the badass shop man this is amazing!! Every man that Tinkers on cars dreams of this. Well-deserved bro
Thanks man, I'm super grateful!
Now that's hustle! Their boss should give them all a raise!!!
Agreed!
Very cool, every car guys dream.
Very true!
10 to 11 hours? It took my wife and I 2 days to put up a 10 x 8 storage shed! Haha! Looks better than I imagined.
They kicked ass!
That is awesome. Congrats man I always wanted something like this

Nice 👍!
Congratulations bro !!!
Thank you!
Super cool. Living in so cali you never have space like that. Unless you are making some big bucks.
I bet. I couldn't afford Cali life.

You should make a vid when the cars are in and the potential lifts are installed. Nice work, I'm thinking about getting one of these myself.
👍
I won't be able to afford lifts until maybe next year. Hoping by next summer.
Congratulations bro that's a nice ass garage
EXCELLENT 👌 EXCELLENT 👌 GOALS!!!!!
Thanks Will!
Well deserved you earned it man! Next car going to be an NSX? 😁 Those workers kicked ass.
Thats really fast I do this for a living and they do great work.
It was pretty cool to see!

Broooo. Guess what i just got. My first civic ef. Now i can join the ef family with u hehe.
You Neighbours in the back must love the view when they go out back to see a huge building in their backyard. Lol
Lol. They didn't have a good view of anything anyway.

Congrats on this awesome garage! Are you going to be adding some form of ramp to drive the car into the garage due to the elevated pavement?
Yes!
This garage have a website for ordering? This is so cool.
Thanks! Look up Infinity Carports out of Alba, TX, I can't remember their website.
Nice!👍🏻
Gahhhhh so badass!
🙏👍
Right on gonna buy 1 put it on my land in New mexico

I live in el paso to it would be cool to swing by one day with my hatch

That's a good idea. The piping we installed could allow us to feed those lines in the future if needed.
Nice man how much does it cost?
15k
Great garage, what’s the company you use to have this steel garage build? I wonder if it’s possible to do much wider the garage I mean a different size I think your is it like 25’x50’ around there?
They can do whatever size you want. Infinity Carports in Texas. Mine is 20' x 50'.
Did ypu have a monolithic pour done.
Kinda. It ended up being 2 larger monolithic slabs. Only 2 workers did the work and needed a 2nd day to knock out the rest.
@GarageBuiltHondas OK, thank you. I'm searching for a contractor at the moment to pour a slab for a 20x50 or 20x60 the size will depend on the slab pour cost 😆. Good luck! I went with guys we already had done work with and they did a fast and great job.
That's amazing work! The shop is going to be great! Any plans to insulate the shop in the future for climate controlled?
Thanks!! I'd like to, but I'm not too worried about it. I'm used to working in the heat and this is an upgrade for sure from my house garage. We'll see what I can afford as time goes on.

Definitely, and thanks! Did you get the harness swapped over?
No I haven’t. Call me when you get a chance to explain what’s going on with it.

Carlos.
how much total again, and since there are not insulation, can you still work in there with extreme hot or cold weather?
The building was 15k.
I can during all westher, but I'll have to dress appropriately but I live in the desert SW so our winters are pretty nice and I don't mind the heat. I'm so used to working in my house garage and that thing is hotter than this garage in the summer.
@@GarageBuiltHondas 15k is awesome. I'm guessing that does not include concrete slab and electrical?
Alv wey! Lmao hard working people right there
How much did you pay for the whole garage?
Oscar Mayor need the answer as well🙏🏻
So far I'm 21.5k in. The concrete slab was 6500 and the garage was 15k.
Garage Built Hondas think I'm going to do a 20x30x9H just two OH doors. Looks like yours is 12H?
Correct, 12' at the corners, probably 14' at the top.
Was this from versatube buildings?
Infinity Carports out of Alba, TX.
What was the cost of the shop and the concrete separated?
Skip to the end. I breakdown all parts of the build. ruclips.net/video/KV7PWdaHOP4/видео.html

Infinity Carports out of Alba, TX. They did everything. It cost 15k installed.
hey i am very interested in this can you say how much you've spent including labor cost property fees etc. itd be nice to have a number to start from!
Go towards the end of this video. I go over all the exact costs. Or stick around and check out the while video too! ruclips.net/video/KV7PWdaHOP4/видео.html
No floor drains?
No. Its beyond my budget for water supply and drainage to the garage. Its essentially a big storage spot for my cars/tools and a place to work on them instead of my house garage.
Are you on the Westside?
Yup
What wall height did you go with?
12' height
Wondering how much this cost you in your area?
15k
That’s not bad! Was thinking on building one in my forever home.
Exactly! We moved into our "forever home" last January and this was something I had been planning.
How big is this garage?
20x50
What is the high and where to order it?
12' in the corners. Maybe 14-15' in the center. Big Buildings Direct online.
@@GarageBuiltHondas Thank you! They include assembly labor? Or we have to source by ourself?
They came and installed it too.
What's the measurements on building .
20x50
@@GarageBuiltHondas thank you.

Where are you located? If you're in the phx area and need an Electrician/AC guy, I'd be stoked to give you a quote.
That would've been cool, but I'm in El Paso. Just a little bit too far!
