Congratulations daddy! That is awesome! Children are a blessing. The garage turned out great. That isn't a bad price for all of that. Concrete can be pricey, but with all that dirt and the rain splashing it around. Concrete is a must. Those Honda's look great in there. It makes working on them must better. Congrats to you in your wife again for your little blessing.
Man, I think it turned out great, being a truck guy, I would need it deeper. Do the spray foam insulation, with a fire retardant. Did it to an underground garage ceiling, huge difference...
Great series of videos. I know for some people this can seem almost none car related, but this is a massive part of being a car enthusiast. And to have someone think it up, build it and put out the honest prices and details, all the while vloging it so we know what it looks like and what to kinda expect is awesome. There will be nitpickers and penny pinchers, but thank you for sharing all the details. And! Congrats on the baby!
Congrats on getting the shop built. Assuming that the area around the man door is where tools/supplies/parts will live. Can’t wait to see what comes next. It will be tons better than working in a 2-car garage and driveway. I’m working toward a new workspace, as well. Can’t work on much, when the storage space is the preferred workspace.
Bro, it brought my heart great joy to watch how proud you were of the garage build turn out. Something tells me your a fellow follower of Christ. Stay blessed my brother!
Thank you for all the time spent in getting this vid set up. It really helped me in getting an idea on what I want now. All the haters about what this guy drives and works on are just people with no life and it just shows jealousy. Great job and glad you are able to do what you love in life. Walk the walk and keep moving forward.
They sell these giant car Mat's, that you park your vehicle over, it's designed to catch the rain mud , oil, etc for containment purposes and easy rinse off, Kind of like a Giant Weatherproof Car mat for your whole car. I would invest in those, they are about $200-250 each, but they will save your garage floor. Awesome work with your Dad, Those memories will be worth more than the Project. Thanks again for sharing.
Bro.....! It looks Awesome ! Especially with all the Hondas. They all fit ! Congratulations on being a... Husband and a Father My our Heavenly Father Bless Your Family ! Stay Committed ! Stay Righteous ! Salute!
Love the shop, man. It takes incredible restraint to save for this sort of thing, especially with a new baby! Great job planning and saving! Congrats on your little one. Expecting our 4th in 5 weeks! Being a dad is the best thing I have ever done.
I stumbled across your video looking at metal buildings. Nice video. Nice cars. Back in the day I used to race a little Eagle Talon in my fast and the furious days. Switched a Vett when I got older and had more coin. Thanks for bringing back those memories. 😊
Congratulations on becoming a father bro! I have 3 daughters of my own. 8, 7 and 2 year old. They are so innocently precious. My girls love to help me work on my car no matter what it is. Experiences with them changed my life positively. LOVE is key. Never let them forget that. You have a good head on your shoulders and I know you'll be a great father! Congrats to you and your wife! #GarageBuiltHondas #Family
Heyy maaan!! Congratulations 🎉 on your first child!! Best things ever happened to me, for sure!! I know it’s a year ago but I’m new to your channel Bc of your B series trans video. So, hello!! I love my Honda’s/projects. I think we both have the same issues 🤣🤦🏻♂️. Can’t have enough of em!! Honda’s that is. Hahaha I have 3 kids. They are 20,17 and 13 Enough jibber jabber!!!💪🏼🔥🔥🤣🤣🤣❤️
Cool garage, I hope to have something like this one day too on a big lot of land. I would suggest that the next thing you get be a mechanics lift to lift up your cars, I heard you can get them for a pretty affordable price from companies that make elevators.
@@GarageBuiltHondas I saw this video: ruclips.net/video/gOLcIIGYsfc/видео.html where a RUclipsr who has a Toyota Tacoma got a lift that can lift the truck up for $2,000 from an elevator company called Nationwide Lifts.
For sure! after you do the Air Compressor you need to run Hard Air lines over the shop, that way you don't have to drag air lines around cars and what-not.
Nice garage and great video. I'll be trenching to my 40 by 60 pole barn soon myself. Thanks for sharing. P.S. - nice choice of cars. I miss all of my old Civics. I had 4 myself in the 90's.
Oh and I built my 24x24 for 5000 all included with just a little help from my brother to hang the trusses. back in 1994. concrete was $57 a yard and plywood was $7 a sheet, I made 10 foot walls which were $3 for studs each. I would love to make it 24x36 but that would probably run 25,000 or more now just to add an additional 12 feet on. great job.
Be glad you don't live in TN where clay & rock can beat you up when trenching. Good job. Looking great! I miss my son's 91 Civic Wagon. It was my favorite of all his rides so far.
$30k seems very reasonable, now you just need a lift! Electrical and lighting is pretty easy, I helped my brother rewire his home double garage (1978 ranch) from a single light bulb and one duplex outlet by the washer/dryer hookups to: 6x 4' led lights, two 20 Amp circuits with 3 outlets each for power tools/compressor and another 15 Amp circuit to exterior sconces and exterior outlets on both sides of the garage.
Garage goals! Congrats Mate! I do small engine repair on my channel. I do builds and repairs on my own vehicles. Goal is to have 2 story 2 1-2-3 car garage. Top floor is strictly storage! Keep up the good work!
Much appreciate! Those cactus are my other babies! I saved them from my mom killing them like 5-6 years ago when I was visiting in Phoenix. They are so much larger now and it's super cool. Never thought I'd enjoy them as much as I do.
Awesome build!! Would love to see in person, if im ever in your area. Side note, my Tein coilovers finally gave out on my prelude. Wanna go with something with a little better ride, recommendations? Ground Control and Konis, BCs are a little expensive also.
A bit too late, but this is something I learned a long time ago. Put 2 conduits ( extra one good for water if needed) in the hole, just cap the other one. I have had to add water, or cable or other stuff years later and having the extra conduit or pipe made it a piece of cake.
Looking sharp and a great investment. Also, welcome to fatherhood I am sure the little one will be right behind you as you wrench away in the garage. A new page in life has began for you Jon and it will be wonderful, trust me.
One video I've seen is to get a shop vac, get string and tie it to a plastic bag filled with cloth and tight enough to make a deal in the pipe but not too tight and use the shop vac on the other side to suck the bag through. Then use the string to pull the wire through.
nice, I built a 24x24 when i did my neighbors Dad said if you think you need a 20x30 you better build a 40x60 and he was right but it's been 26 years now and i'm still working in a 24x24, not much room for tools and no lift. maybe next time. ha ha. thanks for sharing.
CAR LIFT and from experience there is no substitute for spray foam insulation it’s pricey but what a difference ended up putting in a window HVAC after
Isn't funny how your garage build is more popular than most of your car stuff. I love all your stuff, keep it up.
That damn RUclips algorithm. Makes sense though, a garage build will appeal to all car guys, where the EF content, not so much. 😁

More jealous of the vechiles, wish cars in Australia weren't so over priced :p

I love it. I really love that lone cactus. Really softens things! LOL
There's a 2nd one behind the wagon! 😁
Looks great! For insulation you should use SM panels. Easy to work with and cheep.
Thanks for the tip, I'll take a look!!
