    08 expedition. P0357. Cylinder 7 new coil new plug new injector. Using noid light there is pulse going to coil but when I use the noid light on injector the injector plug will pulse for a few seconds after start up then shut off. All other injectors are good only cylinder 7 injector cuts off after start up. With power getting to the coil good coil and plug would the pcm be bad? Maybe bad injector driver in pcm?

      Have you checked the Cyl 7 ignition coil control line? Is ECM detects any fault in any ignition coil circuit, it will cut off the relevant injector too.

    Hello, does anyone know if it’s possible to get p0354 if there’s oil in the spark plug well? Thank you

      Hi there, it could is there is too much oil in coil chamber, try to clean it up and swap it with the next ignition coil, see what will happen next

    Test ECM ground circuit : Measure resistance between ECM and chassis ground using the backside of ECM harness connector as ECM side check point. If the problem is found, repair it.
    Specification: Below 1Ω please help me how to perform this one with multimeter

    • @AutomotiveDiagnosis
      @AutomotiveDiagnosis  2 года назад

      Hi There, for checking the ECM ground, just check the wiring diagram first to find the relevant wire and to find the PIN number on the ECM connector. As this wire is giving the ground to ECM, it should be connected to the ground from the other end, so when you check the resistance between the connector end of this wire and the car’s body, the amount of resistance that you are measuring must be less than 1 Ohm.

      @@AutomotiveDiagnosis so please should it be a back probe when the ground circuit is found i should put one end of the multimeter chassis ground and one to the ecm connector

    • @AutomotiveDiagnosis
      @AutomotiveDiagnosis  2 года назад

      Yes, it’s better to backprob to prevent any damage in the female pins. One end of the multimeter prob on the ECM and the other on the chassis ground.
