Good luck machining out the trigger housing well tabs! I tried it and ruined the frame! Also, if you do manage to grind/snap/cut out those tabs you need to maintain the tolerance to keep the trigger housing from slopping around! I foresee spent cartridge ejection issues amongst many other things! Nice try P80!

Where do I get the new blank frames?

Currently, they are available exclusively through Delta Team Tactical. They will have the new ones as well for now when released.

Tried machining out trigger housings tabs with Dremel, pretty difficult task. I could use some instruction and info on proper tools. Getting the tabs out was difficult enough, now I have to figure out how to get it smooth and flush to fit the trigger housing. I really can’t see this working out for anybody but I’m no machinists anyway.

Well done video. Other comments are complaining but didn't seem to watch the video.

Thank you. Yes, it may seem like we didn't share much but we can only share what the brand is willing to share.

I don't think we'll ever get back to P80 lowers like we had before.
    Hello 3D printers!

I'LL NEVER UNDERSTAND WHY ON EARTH would the owner of polymer 80 feet during his own walkthrough of the Newbridge frame that the trigger housing area modification wasn't even necessary but he went ahead and did it because he knew their customers could figure it out easily. I'm here to say it is most definitely doable the biggest pain in the ass of the entire build!? Every state is allowed to order the original frame anymore and are restricted to only getting the bridge so I guess what I'm getting at is that I would have enjoyed this Hobby a whole lot more and would have stuck with it had I not heard him say that , since I can't afford to lose that much money on bridge frames if I screw up the trigger pocket?

Now only if they sold blanks in other places besides Delta Team Tactical. They have the worst customer service.

why didnt we spend some time on P80 frame status?? P80 uniquely makes frames for DIY Guns. They do not uniquely make firearms... Ontop of that theres so much confusion on the current status of the p80 frame varients... Thanks for clearing up nothing.

You could have given a description of what the 80% Lower ATF Compliant device was about without getting into politics. Just telling us what the ATF requires and how this new device is different is not the same as talking politics. You send people to Polymer80 but you don't give a link. This video really has no information on the title that draws people in and that's sad. I'd fire the guy who crafted this video.

Exactly they could have done just that but they are too scared bunch of cowards if you ask me do not purchase anything from them companies need to start making a stand whether they lose money or not

They weren't ready to discuss the specifics. More will be released soon. Thanks for watching!

@@2ndAmendmentWholesale I don't understand that. Those specifics are not up to Polymer80, it was a change at the ATF Polymer80 then had to either comply with or not make the product. Seems that info is already in the public domain. It would have to be unless Polymer80 made some secret deal with the ATF none of us can search and locate. If that's the case, that brings a lot of other problems. Now the closest I can find is "Summary of Final Rule 2021R-05F" which states in part, "For new firearm designs, manufacturers must mark the frame or receiver of such weapon with either the serial number and their name and city and state or their name and the serial number beginning with the abbreviated federal firearms license number." - which None of us Wants. If Polymer80 caved to these draconian demands and did not get around it, I think their sales will Tank big time as it Should be.
Btw @2nd Amendment Wholesale, 2A is Not about firearms only designed using gunpowder but about defense using anything you can. What does your company carry and promote that is Not made with gunpowder? If the answer is nothing, are you sure you are not part of the problem? Heck man we can't even legally get armor to protect ourselves! We Need alternatives that are not the heavily regulated gunpowder firearms or we do 2A a grave disservice.
