I know this video is about 2 years old now, but I just had to share this with you. I looked on here and found your video after I got a parts Xbox on eBay. After getting it, I realized someone had already been in it. Front panel wasn't fitting. No power at all. When I opened it up, it looked like whoever had it before me had put it back together with a hammer... bent frame broken plastic pieces, torn front panel ribbon cable. On top of that, it had liquid damage. I had low hopes (thankfully it was cheap), but wanted to give it a shot after seeing your success. Well, I cleaned it up, bent the frame back as much as I could, put it all back together, and low and behold, it fired up and booted to the menu. I was able to sync a controller, connect to the internet and got it updated! Long story short, THANK YOU! You gave me the boost to spend the time necessary to bring a console back that most likely would have ended up in the trash!
I bought this not working and it appears to still be working. So its better than the alternative. Only issue i have noticed is that it might randomly turn itself on, but it could have had that issue prior to not working.

I don't know what I'm doing and I really don't even know what the orange light really means. Does anyone know what I can do to fix it? The beer was spilt on March 27 and I don't know if it's dried inside and maybe the orange light on the power brick has something to do with why it won't come on? Does anyone know any fixes?

My son poured water in mine, but he tried turning it on when it was still wet. Was yours on or get turned on when it was still wet? I still have to finish taring it apart to dry it.
The processors core temps are monitored by the CPU. If the core temps exceed an expected value, the processor will tell the power brick to go into standby. Then the board will lose its 12v and only 5v and 3.3v standby rails would remain. So it wouldn't stay on long enough to "burn out". my cat pissed on mine . it dried up before I noticed. the console still turns on, but wont move beyond the xbox title screen . ive had it sitting in a closet for years . is it salvageable?

Just the fact you tell me the Xbox screen is there lets me know what the processor is doing. Its working.. which is already a good sign.. if processor wasn't working with the gfxcore you wouldn't have any rendered graphics.
So my bf's son, apparently has a lil badass 3 yr old brother who poured a cup of water on his Xbox one s. It was plugged in at the time but it was over a week ago. I'm sure his mom didn't try tipping it or anything like that at all. Would it be too late to even try doing this? 🤔 idk just sucks that the water has already been sitting for quite some time at this point so I'm assuming the damage is done. 🤦🏻♀️
Okay so I spilt probably a half cup of water in the top. I unplugged it right away im pretty sure it powered off by itself. I kept it on the side because when I picked it up that's where the water fell out. Now it's not turning on should I wait a bit? Or am I gonna need to get tho the circuit board?
@@rozayfattygz4210 I know this is late but as long as it's water. Not like a shit ton coz then idk. But you should put it on it's right side so it drains out. I also had a fan by it. And I left it for a half day. I tried it it powered off again. After I woke up the next morning it was fine
@@braedenmeyers-warnke4756 that's weird. The less you get the better chance it's gonna work. If you can't take it apart I would recommend going to a tech repair store. I'm not exactly sure what the problem would be. If it's the mother board, it can be cleaned but may need to be replaced. Idk what else can't get wet though, I'm not a tech dude.
@@joetana1051 it will effectivly rid the Motherboard of any residual or hidden liquid. @ about 180-200 degrees for about 15-20 minutes, also you can use a blow dryer.
pull the video chip off that is under the keyboard and bake it in the oven or heat it up with a heat gun, this is a temporary fix because it will most likely keep going out but it will come back on and work for about a month each time yo do it.

Followed your steps and xbox is back up and running. Before cleanin up the xbox would only power on for 4 seconds at a time.

bro i have dell m6600 + quadro 4000m. when i plug in charger then my screen goes black and hang with restart laptop. do you'll any solution ?
