@@TheCod3r thankyou. Will probably pick one up around the end of the year. Expensive maybe, but a couple repairs even if you don't use it, it's paid for.
am new to this, but I found it impossible to remove with hot air with the settings on 500. So, I will try it with the soldering iron. I even melted the corner of the mosfet.
Yeah, I heard that too - and I also didn't hear him say anything else about it. Having just found his channel and boughten a syringe of Kingbo due to his recommendation, I'd like to know. Especially when I saw I could get a ~100g tub for about $12us.
If an original Xbox one has got all the standby voltages, but is missing the 12v which reads 0.2v & all the mosfets on 12v rails are reading normal what could be the cause?
Had so many problems with Xbox’es over the years. Red rings of death, the disk reader grinding up the disk and making it unreadable, not powering on at all, etc.. Have had great luck with PlayStation’s however. Only my ps4 had a disk ejecting issue that was actually easily self repairable without need to professional repair. but PlayStation 1,2,3,5 have worked flawlessly. Forever sticking to PlayStation only. Also pissed me off to no end how they actually made you purchase batteries for Xbox controllers for a while. No thanks

@@microgamingrepairs1981 it's a FlirOne, they're pretty expensive though at around £250 for the USB-C version

Mine beeps on then off. Tested mosfets. Diode showing .64 across all 3. So lost what it could be.
Another great video 👍👍👍
Buen vídeo mate, keep it up!
Fantastic video bro
Question about the WiFi, why don't you use a guest network that you can change all of the time and shut down when you're done working? Just curious 🙂

@@enigmaticmf personally I'm still using it. I find it a great alternative to amtech
What if i have power but no video output?
Off topic and a bit irrelevant, but u mind tell what size soldering balls goes under memory chips ? 0.5 mm?
Learning alot from u man.
RAM are typically 0.45mm bud :)
@@TheCod3r thx.

It's hard to say without seeing it mate. It could possibly be the mosfet drivers but it sounds like you have a 12v short somewhere
@@TheCod3r think I found the issue, screw damage into the 12v line in the. idle of the board. Didn't spot at first

Into the connector for the 12v rail :)
