- I didn't realize this until recently, but I find that completing the Ages in the order Edanna, Voltaic, Amateria has a nice "morning, afternoon, evening" feel.
Or in my case, perhaps it's more like "spring, summer, fall". :-/

There is a time call the "Golden Hour" (look it up) when the Sun has risen enough or is close to setting whereas the lighting is absolutely beautiful. This age shows it so wonderfully, my hat is off to the graphic artists that made this so real! Also, I am really enjoying your walk through!
I remember when I was about 8, my family got a new PC and this was the first game I bought for it. My father and I would sit down together and play through it and do the puzzles. I have very good memories with the Myst games
I agree with the description. All they ages have both a time of day feel and a season feel.
Just watched all the vids up until now, and I want to say your quality is excellent. Sometimes it sounds a bit awkward, as you've planned your speech in advance. However, what you did choose for commentary is excellent.
I love how you not only go over the puzzles, but really embellish on how they actually work (mechanically/scientifically). This Age was my favorite in Exile, and I can't wait to see the rest. Great work!

@Dartsahn12 it was the same way with me but with my mom. im 15 now and still play these games on a regular basis. the music the gameplay the magic of myst is still so much a part of my life.
I love your interpretations of Sirrus and Achenar. XD They amuse me endlessly.
Also, the pattern seems to got thusly: You started at four, went back to one, then two (the second beat was faint, but there), then three, then six, then eight, and probably null, the latter being what I assume you need to set them all at. I'm probably wrong, though.
The mural painting is TERRIFYING.
I was afraid of the mural painting as well. Whenever I pass it, I try to keep my view away from it and cross through as quick as possible.
I've noticed this much earlier than now, but in the journal entries, the letter "A", even when placed in the center of words, is always capitalized. Whether this has any relevance I do not know.
