      Clearly you have limited your viewing experience of crochet tutorials on RUclips. In addition to this channel there are many, many more that explain, demonstrate and instruct in simple terms for *ALL* to grasp and learn. *FOR FREE* no less. I'm surprised Ginanze Kr8tion did not make that point to you out of respect for others who work just as hard as she does.

    I love how pretty this beanie is but unfortunately mine came out way too small and I'm not sure how to make it to an adult size.

    • @GinaZampagaE
      @GinaZampagaE  2 года назад +3

      This hat fits from teens to medium adult, if you want larger size for this try using worsted weight yarn instead of medium weight yarns, or you can try to adjust the size of hook 1 size larger than the hook i used, I hope this helps. Thanks for the comment . Happy crocheting!

    If I should decrease, how many stitches should I take!

      Hi, try using #3 baby sports weight yarn and size F hook or G hook, make sure that the circumference is 16” inches and the height will be until 6” inches before you start the brim

    Thank you for sharing ur skills

    • @GinaZampagaE

      I say less than 10 oz . The yarn i used is POUND OF LOVE by Lion Brand, for 1 skien is 1020 yard and you can finish a two or three hat depending on size of hat your making.

      Thank you, I suggest you reduce one round of the crown and also the length before the brim

    • @KaiLynn-f9f
      @KaiLynn-f9f Год назад

      @@GinaZampagaE I did register one round of the crown. I did nine double crochets instead of 15 and it was coming out to be the size for a newborn, not a three year old, so I started all over again.

    • @KaiLynn-f9f
      @KaiLynn-f9f Год назад +1

      I’m sorry that was a typo. I meant I did reduce one round of the crown. I did nine double crochets instead of 15, but it was coming out to be the size for a newborn and not a three year old but I am using yarn a little bit smaller than what you were using and a crochet hook a little bit smaller than what you’re using. I am fairly new at crocheting.

    • @GinaZampagaE
      @GinaZampagaE  Год назад

      @@KaiLynn-f9f ok if you are using smaller size of yarn I suggest use two strands and don’t change the hook size , or use one strand and make 13 dc instead of 15 and use the same hook you’re using right now and let me know if it works for the size you want to make

    • @KaiLynn-f9f
      @KaiLynn-f9f Год назад +1
