These little led eyes look amazing. I didnt know you could actually see through them lol. I wouldn't fancy having one of those lipo batteries at the back of my head tho. Think I would go with the little battery pack.

And I don’t use LiPo batteries in the suit just usb battery packs
@@FranklyBuilt What about using a rescue blanket silver side towards the led side? I used them in the summer to reflect heat in my living room, you can still see through them but the silver reflects a lot of light.

@@NightFuryForever that guy probably has an irrational fear of LIPO batteries. Somehow, the fact that puncturing a LIPO battery will cause a fire has turned into the idea that lithium batteries are ticking time bombs ready to explode at any moment. It's just not true, as long as you don't physically abuse the battery and don't short circuit it nothing bad is going to happen. Anti right to repair companies have also played into this narrative of lithium batteries being an extreme safety risk to justify not letting consumers replace batteries.

very cool, are there larger ones, like big enough for a full face plate or mando vison?
back in limited stock. seller has several listings for them but the color availability varies between listings so hunt around. Ordered 6 (2 red, 2 blue, 2 gold) we will see how they work in the Darth Vader Helmet and the AstroMech droids.
Saw on instance of this question, did not see answer. Was planing to use usb battery pack. You mentioned need to drop down from 5v to 3v. Is there an easy way to accomplish this?
You can lower them a little to see above the plastic. It won’t be noticeable at night.

May I suggest that you choose the right colour for your eyes too.
The lense colours are important and can affect your fields of vision, because through my visor colour vision experiments of power armor projects in the fallout 4 video game, light visor colours can definitely compromise this experiment if cosplay creators are using the incorrect type of LED colours for their visors.
And another incredible idea is to add alternate light functions for darker environments on your helmets or masks, for alternated light and more effective field of vision effects, that will not block visibility so intensely.
Not only can this be an incredibly useful skill in tactical intimidation tactics, but it can also be very useful for simply moving around in the dark during investigations, showing off your amazing costume appearances without blinding yourself over long periods of time and just simply enjoying the unique styles of LED visor appearances that can basically be switched around for different environments of light visibility.
But I must say, these lenses look amazing to experiment with!

I bought from the same shop a few weeks ago and I thought they were flexible, unlucky me I clicked on their listing for the normal plastic ones. just make sure it says bendable on the listing before you buy lol

Can you try "One way mirror film". sorry..just thought to reduce the glare and reflect it away from your eyes.
got an idea can you take those and make a frame that you can make them like pair of sunglasses that you can put on and then just put any mask you want on over the top
Thank you for the positive feedback but what I'm thinking here also is a some kind of a dimmer switch so you can dress the the intensity for normal like three to three volts or you can take and turn the foliage down and keep them on to the point you can adjust them so you can see in any kind of lady and still keep them on in a little dimmer a little brighter you know just somewhere on the costume you can hide the dimmer switch that you can adjust the intensity
Does anyone know where to get a bigger version of these? I'm making a jack o lantern costume for halloween and I wanna use some for the eyes but the eye holes are too big.

Ordered them for myself through the doobly doo link to see if they did. These lights do *not* come with a battery. What you will need is a CM2302 battery. One of the hearing aid disc looking batteries

held them in with gorilla tape. Worked fine BUT while trick or treating with my son after sundown I could NOT SEE.
it was so bad I had to switch to my spare mask. Even turned off I still couldn't see.

Wrt the silver tape coming off; can't you just use a bit of silver paint (maybe a silver pen) to make the side reflective again?
You can just peel it off and put it back on

Is there somewhere I can get a larger strip of the rubber lenses? I've got a faceplate with one large strip for the eyes and cant find any that would look like they can cover the full length.

hey, just thought i let you know the flexible led's you have in the description is now outdated. they are no longer selling those
So i had no clue that when you peel off the white cover paper your getting rid of the adhesive that holds the lights on to the plastic. Any fix for this? Really should come with a warning as I thought it was just a protecting cover.

I'm from Argentina, this stuff is relly hard to get here, there is literally nobody selling it here, the full cost is AR$ 2040, but the leds only AR$ 500, the rest is for shipping and taxes. But it's worth to have a better helmet at the end
