I like how dad's design is strong and flaming, and the author's design is a pure cinnamon roll. Also the hug at the end is just the cutest thing I've ever seen
I get the sense of a quiet passion and casual strength. The kind of character that doesn't get a ton of development because they've already finished theirs before the story began and serves to help the other characters on their own paths of development.

You should use a neck snood with it, so you can both hide your neck more, but also it could help reduce light going into the tv through the neck hole (like at 6:37). You could also put some thin mesh over the airholes grilles to prevent people seeing inside?

Just a quick tip in case you didn't know this about gluing:
Gluing plastic surfaces suck because the surface is often flat and glossy. To make things stick better, what you want to do is something called "scoring" the surface. The basic idea is that you scratch (often in a # pattern) both the surface you want gluing and the surface you want glued to. This increases surface area and makes things stick better.
I learned the idea of it while learning pottery but I found it works well with glues and even epoxy.
They do that with rocks too! You know, in like, chinese temples? The longgggggg path in the mountains? Well the rocks (usually) have those carved out line so you don't slip and fall to your death.
It's actually easier to give it a slight sanding with a 40 grit. Roughs the surface up real nice for the glue.
