Not meant or made to sit on a shelf. No point wanting something so much that you can't enjoy it. Like having a few beers and gagging for a kebab. Yake it home and just look at it? Naaaah! Ain't happening 😂

I missed the Rust Bucket Blazer thinking about it…. Kind like this BTF TF2. Would love that one as well. Only thing I have seen is that the little KC lights are pretty fragile. I believe RC4WD makes a V2 set now that may be more robust?
Open, mod it like you want if at all (or none, it is the movie truck…) but you can always shelf it. Or lightly trail it. I have this quandary quite often after I finish a nice build. Is it too nice to drive? I have a limited RC4WD truck TF3Launch… I have yet to be able to make myself drive that beauty!
I’m with you Matt. I’m really liking these hard body rc4wd’s lately. The way I drive I should have no issues with durability.
Definitely run it, but trail it. I wouldn't beat on it too much, but for sure, enjoy it. RCEveryday is the RC4WD guy, he's got all the info to set them up. I've got a TF2, and it's been a solid truck, and im not nice to it, lol. Everyone says the Yota 2 axles are junk, but i have yet to break mine. That thing definitely deserves to see outside, though! Have fun with it!
While you’re thinking about taking that out of the box, Marty McFly, why don’t you Google: DeLorean RC body because they’re making a Back to the Future accessory kit for that body too

My thought would be to take the body that you have built for the Back to the Future theme and shelf queen that and get another body that's similar to run on the chassis. That's what I did with my xmaxx. That's my thought.

I can totally relate. My dream truck is the rc4wd trailfinder 2 midnight edition basically a 1983 yota based on the truck i drove in high school. but like you im iffy on the brand/price but now i cant find them anymore don't know if they discontinued them or what. Anyway enjoy your truck buddy!✌

Cool, i bought the Midnight edition and it still in the box and not broken the seal also. Will say have many of the RC4WD still in the box with the seal unbroken. Have also some Veterra RC also in the box. TRX 6X6 still in the box with dealer only seal on it. Maybe will seal and stick to the 1/24 scale. Thank Matt, cool truck tho i failed to get it. I bought the gray body thinking I would mount it on my Gmade Gs02f chassis. The problem with that, I was going to have to destroy the interior to make it work. So option 2, I bought a discontinued tf2 lwb kit with the 2-speed transmission and Toyota axles. Found it 30 bucks off too
Sweet! I have the gray body on my ascent fusion and love it! It’s just not a leafer so I had to get the black also 😆
Glad you were able to get it Matt. I’m not too familiar with these trucks. Is the chassis and everything the same as the ones online but this body isn’t available anymore or is there something different about this specific one you have?
Just can’t get the body anymore. This one comes with some Back to the Future type stickers and stuff inside as well. I’m sure I’ll end up showing it off soon 😆
