Went fishing with my brother and best friend yesterday. In 6 casts caught 3 different species including a 17" walleye all on the ned rig. I will never leave home without it again.

Love the ned rig. I keep a spinning rod rigged up with one in case the bite is tough. Also works good as a follow up bait.

I love mine too. They have been extremely nice for the money!
Nice fishing. I've still never caught anything on ned rigs before. Places I fish tend to be real weedy, shallow, and muck bottoms. Ned rigs just get full of weeds and slime on the bottom in these places. Tonight I landed a number of bass on the BFS gear, and I got them on a weedless weightless t-rigged zman finesse worm 4.5". It kind of floats and hangs out right under the surface. I was dragging it along overtop pads, and close to weedy cover. Biggest fish had to be at least 2 pounds, maybe a little more, on a 6'0 UL buggy whip baitcasting rod. I am going to have to rig the TRD the same way. It will make a great little topwater. I have rigged the TRD tube the same way on 3/0 finesse hooks, with good results,in VA a few weeks ago.

Yeah, the fury rods feel very good. There are a lot of great choices on the market, hard to pick only one.
if i could onle put two lures in my bag for a day. 1) would be Ned Rig (Grawz or TRD) and either the spinner bait or lipless. Nice video Debo, cheers for sharing.

I called Thursday as my spinnerbait day also.cloudy windy storm coming, same as you. Caught plenty and one in the 4ish range.

Those were some nice fish. What kind of knot do you tie in the spinner bait lure? I fish there often but never seem to catch anything big. I think the Min size it 15” or 18” for bass

Whatever it takes to catch fish. Craws spawn in the spring around 50 degrees or so fairly clean rocky areas are a plus. Get em! :)

Yep, I got it on the same sale. So far it has been good. There are a few things that other reels do better. But so far...it's going strong!

Awesome video as always debo! I had that same spinner caught probably 6 fish on it, and had a 3 pounder hooked when it snapped in half. Needless to say I was done after that lol.
Oh no! That's no good man! I've landed one just under 5 on it. I take it slow because I use a 6-8 lb leader. On the bright side, you get to go tackle shopping 🤣👊

@@DailYxDosE all depends on what you're comfortable with. Some people say you need your dominant arm to fight fish. I fight them with my left arm and don't notice any difference. I use both left and right handed combos.

apparently I need to pick up some ned rigs. I just really can’t stand using spinning gear anymore. here lately I was on a fire swimbait bite. between the keitech swing fat impacts & the keitech easy shiners in that pearl white/pearl white and green... I was killing it.
but I think there’s a front moving in or something because they’ve just completely shut down. it doesn’t help either that they drained one of my favorite ponds down to only a few feet, so now there’s more grass than water. shit sucks.

You should check out the original Terminator T-1 Titanium Spinnerbaits some awesome and very sturdy spinnerbaits you'll never have to deal with your spinnerbait not swimming right again
Yeah, I've had a couple. I remember them being great but $10 a wack is tough to pay.
You ever have those Terminator spinners break? I've had 6 break in half while reeling in fish, I would get the blades back, but the rest is still in the fishes mouth.
I keep the blades and buy those $1 Wal-Mart spinners and switch out blades. The cheap spinners seem to last way longer than the terminators.

@@sk8dwrld If I had to keep only one setup? That's a very hard question. The 733 Dobyns Fury has been great for all of my moving baits. I'd probably keep my Lew's LFS. One of the first $100 reels I got and it has never let me down.

Rand Dazzle appears and out comes the Nerd Rig. What’s with that deal? It appears he intimidates you and you go into competition mode to catch more fish than Drizzle-Dazzle and his magic jigs. That is funny stuff. It is quite obvious the fish caught on the spinner bait were BIGGER. Was the plan reversed and the spinnerbait became the follow up lure? How is casting those big glide baits working out? Bring on The Dark Sleeper!
I was still covering water with the spinnerbait all day...no luck. I had the TRD craw rigged up from before and just used it. I have yet to catch a fish on a big glide bait. I tried the dark sleeper that day and got it snagged. Not as weedless as it appears 🤣
@@DEBOSFishing Dark Sleepers are like swim jigs without skirts Bank fishing makes it hard to unsnag lures. They have copies of Dark Sleepers on AliExpress for $2 bucks each. They come in fewer colors and only one weight but work good. I carry a 16-foot collapsible aluminum lure retriever in my boat and seldom fail popping most lures free. They are more semi-weed less than weed less. The trouble with them is fish mangle them and they cost so much. However, I caught so many Stripers on them I went wild buying more. As far as glide baits and big rubber trout go, they can bore you to death before you get a strike. Losing one should qualify for a claim on your homeowners insurance. Pike and Musky chew them to pieces. I get them on E-Bay and AliExpress for way less and they are still boring but cost less being boring. I keep one tied on so if see some behemoth Musky I start chucking at it with one. They are fun to cast and make other anglers stare at you in disbelief. If some other angler moves in on my spot, I start throwing one like mad to chase the idiot away. Dobyns swimbait rods are awesome rods they cast big stuff a mile and you can skip four-pound bass across the water like there big buzz baits. If you want a super frog rod, try the Dobyns Model (795SB). I use a Lew’s Super Duty 8.1 retrieve wide spool reel and it makes vapor trails across the weeds with or without a bass hooked up. Twenty-five pound mono is big and fat line however, it speeds up retrieves big time because it is so big. It does not stretch much and it is tough stuff. I use a small loop knot and it is overkill in a fun way.
@@gizmocarr3093 yeah, I'll put in more time with the sleepers before I give an honest review. This is true, bank fishing eats lures....par for the course. I will keep chucking the glide baits. I like the use of glide baits to deter the less than favorable folks away 🤣👊
@@DEBOSFishingGo for the 3/8 Dark Sleeper because the ¾ and ½ oz. sink super-fast. Better yet, get some two dollar ones from AliExpress. They are overpriced because all Megabass stuff is. Better yet, buy some ball drop shot weights and forget the Dark Sleeper until you fish deep water from a boat. They may work great from a boat but are not a good choice for bank fishing. Don’t waste money when there are better less costly options to fish with.

The reason those terminater spinners don’t stay straight is because they are made with brace wire like for ure teeth the creator terminator was a dentist that’s why the wire never breaks because that are so flexible
How is a Ned Rig cheating? It's basically a modified shaky head. I guess if it works there will always be haters.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with fishing a Ned rig. It is a really good way to catch fish. However, poking fun at Debo is what I do and have no hate intended. He could fish them all the time; I would still support his channel. He could change the name of the channel to Debo’s Ned rig fishing channel. However, if I watched unboxing videos of a few thousand dollars of lures and tackle I might be curious to see some of it put to use. I have fishing pals who fish one or two types of lures 90% of the time. These guys catch tons bass and I learned a lot from them. The fun of fishing is using as many toys as you want and learning different ways to trick fish into biting fake food. If you watch Debo’s videos you will learn new things just as I have. PS Never said Ned rigs are cheating...

There is plenty of ignorant people, if Ned rig was cheating any other bait that is effective would be cheating as well, fish and have fun with whatever you want, and if someone call it cheating than that’s only because they are ignorant

I was mostly just being dumb there, lol

I figured out what's wrong with your spinnerbait. 1) Its not a war eagle double willow 2) It doesn't have a reaction innovations skinny dipper trailer with a free swinging trailer hook 3) Its not a war eagle double willow
