- I take the viewer to a central Missouri watershed lake and explain how I fish a spinnerbait for big bass. I key in on the laying logs and the shallow shoreline and not the deep middle of the lake. As a bonus I catch the largest Hybred Bass I've ever caught!

Main problem with bank fishing is there's not much bank left to fish these days. Some lakes are so overdeveloped that there's almost no public fishing access beyond the boat launch.
As a kid I could fish practically anywhere back in the 80's and 90's.

Wow. You are giving me so much confidence to work the banks of a lake I have access to. I don't have a boat and the bank is mostly surrounded by trees, so I need to get better at flipping under-handed to work a bank and not get caught in the trees. Haven't worked a spinner bait because there are very heavy pads in the area, but I'll try my luck with a chatterbait. Thanks, Roland!
Bro , sunday march 26th i was fishing in the middle of a severe thunder storm i fired out googan squad micro zinger spinner bait solid white caught a 2 pound largemouth bass on my 1st ever bait caster and i swear that spinner bait saved my life that fateful day
I banked fish most of my childhood and had an absolute blast!
@uqox Spinner baits work in lily pads, too - they can still get hung up, but most of the time you can pull em right through.
Roland , on march 26th i was fishing in middle of a servere thunder storm with sky to ground lightning , so about 09:27Am i get my bait caster and tie on the googan squad micro zinger spinner bait solid white , on my last cast i caught a lil 2pound largemouth , so i ran inside fast as i could safely go , with ole 2 pounds dangling on the hook i show my mom while i was on the verge of tears , she says why do i look like im about to be in tears , which i replied cause this is my 1st Largemouth bass on my 1st baitcaster on the spinnerbait this year , i swear that spinnerbait saved my life that day , then aftet i took photos so post on instagram i ran back out and released ole 2 pounds in the water , but i swear the spinnerbait saved my life

That last fish is why you ALWAYS work the lure all the way back to you. I've had a lot of really nice fish bite right at my feet, including a trophy sized steelhead.

"Down the shore line" - that is my favorite fishing! Usually the lilly pads are out about 5-10 feet then a little drop off....I do a lot of local pond fishing in NJ!

I agree they look smaller than he says but I’ve also seen him catch huge fish and if anything he understates the weight. I was wondering if the wide angle view made them look small. Compare them to his body … they’re not small fish.
Yeah he 100% overestimated all of these fish by 2+ pounds. Idk if it’s age or what but even comparing the size of of the fish to his body you can tell none of those are huge fish
I bet you 98% of these people people don’t have a bass boat. That’s what they do bank fishing. When did bank fishing become some sort of hard thing to do that’s all I’ve done all my life.
