What are your favorite bank fishing lures?? I'd love to know! 👊🏼
My wife and I would love to come fish with you and learn different fishing techniques on how to catch fish
Wacky rig
Worms and frogs
I like the banditer bug and boilies 😂
Mondo worm bandido bug and a frog
Can you do a video on what rods, reels, and line are best for different situations?
Dude we need this more than you know! I don’t have a boat but my dream will come true one day! Thanks for your tips man! We get years and years of experience from the best fisherman on the planet, just clicking the computer! Thanks a lot for all you do dude!
I love to see the bank fishing videos I've been fishing for 45 years now I have retired as a chef and restaurant manager and have become a sports fisherman trying to enter local tournaments here in Galveston the bank fishing videos are great if it wasn't for your dad doing some bank fishing videos when I was a child I would have never discovered fishing that's how long I've been watching I'm 57 and have been fishing for 45 years. Bank fishing is much harder you don't have pictures of where the fish are so often you spend time in areas where there are no fish, learning how to read the water the bait fish ,the sun and the clouds give you a true edge over most boat fisherman's ,that they never had to learn about.
I’m not sure if you’ll read this Scott but I’m subscribed to several fishing RUclips channels as most of us are. I can honestly say you’re my fav. It’s the passion and enthusiasm you bring to the table as well as being a great role model, fisherman and dad! Stay safe man!
Agreed love his videos
Looking forward to the video walking the dawg bro! Godbless you man, and your family. We are blessed y’all share your knowledge with us googans out here! , keep it up SMC, we got your back with support man!
The bandito bug has been without a doubt the most productive bank fishing lure I've used in a long time here in SE PA. So, thanks for that! 👍
When he said “they all climb on you .... then they go.. ATTACK” 😂😂😂
Great tips Scott and great video aswell.
Can't wait for more
Watching ur channel overseas right now. Cant wait to get back stateside and attack them bass. Best video yet. Thanks for showing a bank fishing video. Dont have to be in a boat to catch fish. You dont even have to catch fish to have good time.👍

Thanks for all the great tips Scott, that mondo worm is the deal right there! I’ve also caught a few toads on that bandito bug ! Thanks again!!

Love your videos man, cant wait for the tournaments to start back up! I'd like to see a video on finding summer bass. I've had trouble locating them at my home lake up here in Oregon.
Tell your daughter thanks for all the bass tips I caught my first 2 bass in my life this week. They’re such beautiful fish
Hey Mr. Scott! My favorite bank lure is a frog, buzz bait, or a stick bait! Great video.
My favorite bank fishing lure is the Stanley Jigs Top Toad with a weightless frog hook. I've gotten great fish (fishbrain mathewburch) on it. 8 lbs 15 oz and a 9 lbs 10 oz. It's a great topwater dinner bell.
🎯 absolutely the best baits... And he is 💯 percent correct about the colors!
Great video. Thanks for helping out the new guy.
Helpful vid and great vid
Love the tips
Scott keep up the amazing work love the vids
I he the best profisherman
Thanks Scott! You have inspired me to bank fish again. Will have to check out the rest of the how to series. My favorite bank fishing lure? The Senko fished Texas rigged generally with no added weight.

I have watched your and your dads videos a lot and the advice you guys give us is teuelly priceless. Made me a much better angler for sure! Thanks again.
Scott, in the great state of Michigan just below the bridge we love the pumkin
green Yamamoto 5” rubber worm! Large mouth and small mouth ! As my grandson says, “ Papa if you are not fishing wacky style then u ain’t bass fishin!” I think he watched your dads channel to many times. Nothing better the the Senco!! Thanks for the tip! We r trying the Googin bandito bug tomorrow! Take care and God Bless you and your family!!
Love your vids dude
Love your videos. We are Crappie fishermen but y’all make us want to go bass fishing.
Scott love that Intro keep the great videos coming
Awesome info
Love me the Yoto Worm from 10,000 fish! That thing is versatile and just slays! Drop shot, swim bait, Texas rig, it does it all and does it good
Hey Scott keep it up with the great videos
Glad you like them!
Great info!
Great video. I shared it to Facebook
Great video Scott
Preciate the bank video scott.
Great vid
Tell McCoy the suspenseful music in the background is awesome! Nice touch guys! Scott was made for teaching tho!
Scott love your videos! I watch your whole family! Maybe more in depth techniques on how to fish the different baits wouldbeuseful. Maybe knots that you use. A lot of us don't have boats and are trying to find good bank fishing spots. So please keep up with the bank fishing videos.

Awesomeness
Swim baits, would love to see a video on that. absolutely love your videos love the educational part, you know how to describe it in a down to earth way, swim baits have been my Achilles’ heel would love to see a video
Can’t wait till merch drop on Tuesday
be ready!
Same here
Thank you thank you thank you x 1000000 for this. I do not own or have access to a boat and all my fishing is bank or beach. This was truly helpful!!
Hi Scott, new to the channel and bass fishing....would love to see a video on how you determine what lures to use during different weather, water color/clarity, and in what order you try different lures. Thanks!
Good info brother I’m fixin to rig up a chatter bait and a jig for tomorrow morning 🤙🏼
Awesome tips. Around my area in NC, when in doubt or the bite slows down at a pond, wacky rig or Texas rig weightless senko. Enjoying the series 👍
Great video. Thanks 🤠 Michigan Old Michigan Fisherman.
u the best youtuber
I had NO IDEA that you designed the BANDITO BUG‼️👏. That's 💯AWESOME‼️👏.
PURE 🎣🔥🔥🔥.
i LIKE YOUR TRAINING VEITOS THANKS
Love that bandito bug can’t go wrong with it use it every time I go out..Awesome job on that lure creation
Thank you!!
Off the bank would be Jackall popper frog early morning or 6th sense catwalk walking bait. Shaky head for gravel rocky bottoms. Drop shot in grassier areas. The chatterbait always got tied on or a swim jig. Wacky rig for a follow up on frog fishing early then big curly tell worm Texas rig when hot and fish move out to deeper water. Thanks for the great videos Scott. You the man
Big fan of the bandito green pumpkin is the best color where I live
My newest favorite bank fishing rig is a modified Carolina Rig. I use a bobber stopper on the front and the back of the weight, so if I wanna make it a Texas Rig, I just slide it down. Been killin' it at my local fisheries with it this summer.
Been crushing them on the whopper plopper 90! I love this thing
God is good
Nice snagless Bandito Bug tip Scott.✔
I just finished watching a video of your father and now watching your video. The day is good here lol.
Great video, thank you. I live in Western Kentucky and with the Asian Carp in Kentucky Lake I have found pond fishing to be very rewarding. As always you mad me smile with the ants and just bought some Jackhammers yesterday so to see the damn gator get yours ......... damn gator. How about a video on the adjustments on bait-casters. I fish with Garcia reels and I think one knob is magnets and not sure about the dial deal.
Grew up out west Trout fishing all my life. Now in Alabama trying to learn to bass fish. So different, but today is my B-Day and im taking myself fishing in an hour and im gonna try these out. Very informative video. Thanks for the tips!!
Hope you get some toads
Happy Birthday
Scott Martin love the vids
Happy birthday
Happy birthday brother
Frog, creature bait, and chatter or spinner bait are my top 3 pond baits
I know I’m a few days late, but my favorite bank lures are a bandito bug, a drag n drop on a drop shot, a whopper plopper, a reaction innovations flirt and a skinny dipper on a belly weighted hook. I’ve committed to learning the frog this year though
I really like this guy he is such a good influencer I really want to fish with him
Me too!
Great video Scott!! Congrats and always your fan.
Can you tell me all the gear you were using here?
What rod, spinning reel, lure and for me, the most important, what line do you use for spinning? The green one. Can you tell the brand and the pounds you use? Thanks a lot!!
Thank you for these how to videos, just picked up fishing. Could you do more how to videos? Lure baits in particular.
"Lure baits"? You realize that makes zero sense, right?
First!!!! Come to Southern California to fish!!
Can you show us how to fish big swimbaits from shore as well? Love the video👍
Can’t wait till I get new merch on Tuesday and being able to get back on the lakes
New to fishing. Been doing a ton of research but there's just so much to weed through. Can you do a video for beginner lake/pond bank fishing but focusing on setups i.e. line, lures, rods, etc.? I currently use a Shakespear spinning reel but trying to improve my overall experience/knowledge base.
All googan baits and speed worms..doing a great job with hilary just like your dad did with you..sure wish you could bring up videos of you and roland fishing when you were little..priceless
I have really good success on swimbaits 6 to 8 inches lipless crankbaits and Senkos and topwater walking baits such as the Zara Spook and Whopper ploppers as well
This was very helpful, also can do a video on how to catch them on a jig from the bank.
Thanks for all tips for any more hacks? Used coffee stir er to pre rig couple of Monaco works too
Mondo worms spell check
I like to use a popper style topwater, like the Rico Pop, and soft plastics, like the crawworm, senko style worm, or mag finesse type worms. Those probably get 95% of my bass I catch in ponds. I do occasionally use small hard jerkbaits, small squarebills, small finesse jigs, depending on how much I know about that particular pond.
Good job. What about stick baits? My favorite Zoom magnum trick worm.
You are so lucky you got that Jackhammer back haha. I live in North FL and I can't even tell you how many lures (esp top water lures) I've lost to gators. The blow ups are epic and at first you think you've hit the jackpot until you see what's on the end of your line, lol. Most of the time, they end up breaking off.
I recommend you to my friends who are just getting started love the channel
Awesome, Thanks so much!! Hopefully these “How to” vids help. 🤙🏼
Scott Martin they do I sent this one and the worm fishing one to him and he will fish and and watch at the same time
Nice
So Scott, what if the ponds have I’m fishing just has a soft muddy bottom, most around here, Savannah Georgia area. I have yet to fish one here that isn’t a soft bottom. Morning and evening I’m fishing a spook or buzz baits, sun gets up I go with spinner bait or shallow crank bait or stick bait or fluke. Great tips and thanks!
Hey Scott first of all thanks for being so informative and willing to share techniques. We catch some slobs here in central FL but could you shed some light on fishing lipless cranks through grass? Keep it up bro you're vids are much appreciated. Thanks brotha
That’s a good suggestion! Thanks👊🏼👊🏼
@@ScottMartinChallenge Thanks man....Im starting to fish tourneys so a good plan on tournaments would be a good one as well. 👊
You and bill dance are my favorite fishermen and would love to fish with you one day
I love a Frog 🐸 nothing beats a top water blow up!!!
I was amazed that you didn’t put a fluke or senko in a bank fishing video. But I know most people don’t deal with it but I fish tidal water I would love some input on slack tide situations. Fished tourney today in the Pascagoula river and only .3 ft of moment couldn’t figure out what to really do
Come to Savannah GA... Savannah River bass fishing!!
I also like using a swim jig with a trailer on it and a chatterbox with trailor.
Scott thanks do you have any tips for me on what to throw on a muddy bottom bass pond with a lot of timber in it?
