      I’ve been at the dam using worms caught a 8 pounder on a $140 Walmart pol on 14lb thin braid line

    Scott, I grew up learning new techniques to catch bass from your Dad and other greats like him. You, my friend, remind me so much of those weekend morning fishing shows, watching your Dad simplify and explain ways to catch big bass. You are keeping up the tradition.     I just replaced my old drop-shot rod with a GL and a Sustain. I never thought about casting long and the way the bait is close to the bottom. Great tip!

    You’re right in that fishing is hugely popular right now. Please do a video on fishing rod and don’ts and how not to be an ass. I can not even explain how many times new anglers have ruined the bite, the waters and other peoples gear because they just don’t know.

    Hands down my favorite is the BANDITO BUG Blue Baby. The Bug's the drug 👏🔥. Then followed by the Swim Worm. Depending how you fish, you can have all 3 water columns covered with 1 or 2 baits 😊. Those 2 let me pack light for bank fishing times when I carry my stuff from spot to spot around ponds and lakes.

    Great explanation on usability. However i don't have good luck with 12lb. Line i was using it with the Rocco got broke off it it was nothing. So i went to 15lb braid again fishing a Rocco in brush had a 6lb. Bass take it & it broke off like nothing. So now using 30lb. Braid. Thanks for sharing.

    Next bait you should do is LiveTargets baitball or notorious pumpkin seed/ blue gill. The baitball i haven’t been able to get them on but the blue gill looks to real to not get bit. Would love to see a review and hear you thoughts. God Bless Scott!

    Have you ever tried the VMC spin shot hooks for drop shot? I have found I like them the best cause they don’t twist my line at all.

      I like them for a number of reasons. Mostly I’m a terrible knot tier! They work well, but are a little pricey.

    I was just drop shot fishing over the weekend clear water 12lb mono that all I had with me between the bait not moving natural and the mono I seen a couple big bass come up to it and turned it down it make since looking back at it I’m having too thick of fishing line on

    I don't like using those "pin" style weights they end up cutting my P-line. So I take pliers and open that wire up to prevent that. I tie it on like a normal hook. Suggestions ?
