Actually tap F8 at startup. F12 is for boot. if you are in the market for a new laptop I would recommend an ASUS due to how they are manufactured now compared to HP, Dell, Gateway, etc today. My stepson bought the mini 10 and can tell it may have a virus, I've tried every optional available including F8 and can not get the Factory Reset page to come up.

nothing worked from the video.
I bought a used dell latitude 3490 laptop,but I can't get past the pin screen. I've tried all the videos including yours still no luck. I can get to the f12 boot options but that's it.Any suggestions? All I want to do is reset to factory
